@400 an once who will buy it? From what I have been reading shops have stopped buying due to hoards of sellers. and thats at $50. I found some sellers at a flea market selling silver onces $45 cdn, they told me nobody was buying. That was a month or so ago Some people are cutting expenses now just to afford food. As prices rise there will be fewer and fewer with the spare cash to buy silver/gold.
We will see when $400 happens I suppose.
There is a lot more going on than the Canadian and US markets…..

Tommy, I think we are in for a small oscillatory period while silver establishes a new floor close to at or just below $50. After this it should take off again. I am not wise enough to know exactly when it will take off again, but I expect soon.
The reasons why:
1. India is now allowing both gold and now silver to be used against loans in the banking system.
(Just as houses and land is used in the U.S.)
2. All major countries are still printing currencies at a fairly high rate.
(Thus as a store of value against fiat; as fiat inflates its buying power goes down and precious metals go up, measured in fiat.
Thanks for the reply CFS… I tend to agree with your assessment… On a price basis, I think there is a good chance the lows for the correction are already in: roughly 3900 gold, 45.50 silver… Although a bit more weakness with gold testing 3800 would not surprise me… From a time perspective, my guess is that prices, although volatile, will go nowhere for about a month.🥇 🥈 💰

It seems the Kremlin wants to show the world just how bad the situation is for Ukrainian forces along the frontlines in the east of the country, at a moment Russian infantry troops have already penetrated parts of the city of Pokrovsk.
On Wednesday in live televised remarks President Putin said that Russia is ready to let journalists into Ukraine’s encirclement zone. Speaking from the Central Military Clinical Hospital in Moscow alongside Defense Minister Andrey Belousov, Putin declared that “In two places – in Kupyansk and Krasnoarmiysk [the Kremlin’s name for Pokrovsk] – the enemy has been blocked, in encirclement.” He said of Western journalists, “let them see with their own eyes what’s going on.”
