A few months ago (in October, 2025) J.P.Morgan borrowed 128 million ounces of. silver.
This has to be returned in 10 days time. (Or re-borrowed)
As of Jan 1, 2026 China has banned export of silver.
The LBMA storage for silver appears to now be empty of available silver.
Where will Morgan get its silver ? Will this too-big-to-fain bank actually fail ?
Enquiring minds want to know ……
Lease rates on silver have currently risen to 40% on an annualized basis.
Borrowing is a potential road to bankruptcy !
India appears to be in the market to buy another 50-60 million ounces of silver. ……. Interesting !
