Dan sent me this article and it is well worth the read!
This was an editorial which appeared in the Wall Street Journal this past Thursday. It is well worth the read. To read it click here.
In New York City? How much and which one?
Sally…you have got to be an upset lib..threatened by the truth…..otherwise why would you post such a remark….
Have to agree Gator.
Well, Sally if you don’t agree with the clear and logical article by Mr. Koch, I’ll take the opposite side of anything you are selling…
Well, Mr. Koch had some valid points, but all of us ought to be concerned if it is true that he and his brother and Adelson have spent money in all 535 congressional races! I know the Supreme Court has ruled that political contributions are free speech, but there should be a reasonable limit!
I am inclined to side with sally. Al, in all years I have known you, this is the first time I’ve noticed that you pigeionhole anyone for any remark
Regards

Actually, I am not necessarily pigeionholing anyone. I simply don’t agree with Sally.
the saying used to be “paper never refused ink’ and Koch can say or write anything he wants.

It”s real interesting when Newt Gingrich and Bill Kristol say the political contribution
playing field is now “level’ with the new Supreme Court ruling( majority opinion written by Justice Roberts). Newt says my $20 donation can compete with Koch’s
$2 milliion.
I always find it troubling when they quote the founding fathers of our country.
More often than not, it is for an agenda of some sort. It is my hope that one always researches and uses a respected historian when quoting historical leaders of our country.
Even the devil can quote Scripture for his own purposes

Oh yes he can.
on charles koch.. if you believe him.. I have a beautiful bridge in NYCity I can sell you..
