I personally gave up on visiting there years ago. I hated to do that because it was such a great city. It is now really scary. Not Tony Bennett’s little city anymore.

I don’t know about Indiana, but these camps are a serious and obvious problem here on the West Coast.
Jerry, the root problem must be solved in some way other than just enlarging the problem with bandaids.

The filth of San Francisco has little to do with sanctuary status, but much more to do with the Democrat corrupt system.
Many of these incompetent immoral scumbag politicians should be removed by the federal government.
Regarding the filth, Professor, I would bet that the sanctuary status plays a role at leat of sorts.

It’s sad that most people in them there city’s don’t have a sense of reailty. Talking about these issues are so real. In California there is a growing disconnect between rural California and mass city’s. We feed em and they vote against us. I keep telling myself it has to get worse before better.

I fear President Trump has much more pressing issues to deal with than California, so I doubt there will be any solution soon.
There will be no solution forthcoming from within the state.
It is a perfect example of the problem of democracy, wherein people will vote themselves benefits, little understanding the ultimate consequences of so doing.
It is not considered to be a federal problem. My feeling is that the main federal problem is the governor of the state. I simply don’t understand his complete lack of pride that he and other seem to have for California. It use to represent the “class o America” to me and now I absolutely hate it.
So why am i going to Palm Springs for a month and a half? Because it is very different down there. Very clean and very safe!
There are Federal Laws being broken, not state law. That MAKES IT A FEDERAL PROBLEM.
