looked at rugby website. Wow the projects were great as far as drill results. However the part of Colombia is very close to areas of FARC rebel kidnapers . The area was once a very challenging area to explore, however the government’s recent campaign against drugs and the FARC has had a very positive impact on security in remote areas. Security is definitely improving in Colombia which is recently demonstrated by the FARC announcing in February 2012, its end to kidnap for ransom and its willingness to negotiate a peaceful settlement with the government. Rugby coordinates its current and future exploration programs with the government security force to manage potential security issues near the project area. Rugby recently completed a low level geophysical survey over the entire project area and is currently undertaking a socialisation program with local communities in preparation for the upcoming drilling program.

The Philipines project is in a horrible Island called Mindinao . 2nd largest Island of Philipines, Unfortuatley its 98% fanatic muslim area (The Mabuhay Project is situated 12km south of Suriago City in the extreme NE tip of Mindanao.  The dominant religion is Roman Catholic and other religions include Aglipayan and Protestant The majority of people are able to speak English. (source Wikipedia).

very anti western. women and outsiders are treated like dirt there.  (Surigao is a safe and peaceful tourist destination for foreigner visitors. Being the surfing capital of the Philippines numerous foreign tourists are attracted to the area. Sol Matugas is Surigao’s lady Governor )

No matter how rich the gold vien, there are many other areas of PI that are much safer and largely Christian (Surigao is one of the safest areas in The Philippines and is predominantly Christian). Lots of gold mines and possible gold mines in other islands of PI. Mabuhay is situated within one of the most prospective areas in the Philippines. Within a 15 km radius of Mabuhay are numerous multi-million ounce gold and gold/copper porphyry deposits and mines, which include Philex Gold Inc.’s Boyongan and Bayugo gold/copper porphyry deposits, Manila Mining Corporation’s and Red5 Limited’s recently commissioned Siana gold mine. The areas also hosts numerous operating nickel mines and Mindoro Resources (TSX.V:MIO) is advancing towards the development of the Agata nickel project. Further to the south is Medusa Mining’s Co-O gold mine which is currently ramping up to 200,000oz pa production.

Hi Yale et all . The part of colombia is somewhat near the border area withPanama. this area is famous for local indian tribes[indios] who are sometimes unfriendly . more important is the smuggling and bandits who live in trans border area. the mine site is not directly on the panma border but its near enough to cause some concern. Mindinao is predominately muslim . yes there are pockets of christians , but a worrysome area to have a mine. S

I just arrived back in the US this morning.
There is nothing like a period out of the country to open one’s eyes to the corruption and decay happening in a world power. WAKE UP AMERICA; DEMOCRACY IS FAILING. Politicians are so hell-bent on getting elected or re-elected they will say anything or do almost anything to be elected to power EVEN IF IT DESTROYS THE COUNTRY.
If you buy The New York Times or The Washington Post or almost any newspaper that consists of chunks of Associated Press articles or re-writes of same. May I ask, why?

Many of the reporters of these organizatons are so socialistically left-leaning or incompetent of economic analysis, that in any rational time they would be laughed at for being so pathetic. Do you really think communism has ever worked in any country?
Can you name one country where it has? (China is an authoritarian oligarchy. It’s taxation policies clearly deny communism.)

Europe is clearly in imminent danger of self-destruction. The French politicians are as bad as Americans; so corruptly desirous of election or re-election that they are psychologically incapable of addressing any of the real economic problems in the EU.
They are now suggesting that French contributions to the EU will be held constant in the next five years…..at a time when EU commisioners are scrambling for increasing expenditure and increasing regulations at every turn.
Denmark held a conference this last weekend to try to find ways to slow the Islamification of Europe. French radio and the BBC heavily criticised the conference as being racist. Yet, if I understand correctly, it was originally organised by women (or pro-women’s equal rights believers in Scandinavia) who have become increasingly alarmed at the ever-growng demand for Sharia Law to be established in various areas.
Such a change would only set sexual equality back about five generations in many european countries.
At a recent by-election in Bradford, England a muslim candidate succeeded in winning, what had been a safe longtime labour seat by outright pro-muslim promises garnering 97% of the muslim vote. (Strangely the number is the same as blacks in America also voting for black candidates.)
So by now you probably are all labelling me as racist, anti-muslim, anti-communist, and you are probably partly correct.
I strongly believe in living my life by the golden rule and I do not believe that is compatible with Islamic beliefs.
I strongly believe in Austrian economics and independent economic individualism, which is certainly un-communistic.
But most of all I am disgusted by politicians who care more about election or re-election than the economic health of their country.
Big Al: there must be something there for you to comment about this weekend!

Ha! Colonial immigration chaos champions, France and UK, criticizing Denmark, if this weren’t sad, I’d call it hilarious!

      Hijab Option for London Policewomen

The Metropolitan Police in London, England, has accepted Hijab as a uniform option for Muslim women serving in the force. The announcement was made at a conference on the theme of “Protect and Respect: Everybody’s Benefit”. The move is seen as a further sign of official acceptance of Britain as a religiously diverse society where faith-related accommodations should be made for all individuals.

The Muslim media in Britain had argued for accepting Hijab as a uniform option just as the turban was accepted as a part of the uniform for Sikh policemen. Sikh motorcyclists are also allowed to wear a turban in place of a crash helmet. Muslim policewomen will now be allowed to wear headscarf and the ankle length gown. Muslim police officers will now be allowed to pray on duty, demand halal food and have altered meal schedules during Ramadan.

      Hello CFS,
I’m in your camp 100% on these issues you stated. Well done.
While I don’t hate Muslim people, I do profoundly hate the despotic, evil, belief system of Islam! It is completely incompatible with any civilized, democratic, and free society. Good for Holland, but it may be too late for them, as well as the US, England and Europe generally. The camel has more than his nose under the tent. He’s all in but his tail.

I was in England at the time of 9/11. I will NEVER forget the cheering of pro-islamic groups on TV for 9/11, nor the fact that it took over a week after the tragedy for any condemnation of 9/11 and that even then it included the justification of American action in Iraq inciting 9/11; never any sympathy for the thousands of innocent victims, illustrating islaming total failure to even understand the golden rule.

As a Law Professor, how do you rate the quality of education the president provided and his knowledge of the law?
    Based on his recent comments, I would give him an F on constitutional knowledge;
Brilliantly eloquent, and fluent in speaking shorthand, I am informed, but, I believe, a disastrous consequence (for the country) of mis-applied affirmative action.
