Al, I’m starting to get concerned about Rugby Mining. Their share price has been flat on no volume for days. And it appears their website has had no news updates since November 2011. Their financials are not up to date, either. So I can’t tell where they stand at present, in terms of debt levels, cash flow, cash burn, etc. I also only own Rugby on the OTC trade, which has no volume at present, either. My trade in Rugby is down almost 80% since I bought shares. I tried to sell my shares last month, but could not get the order filled. I’d like to try to sell again, in order to pick up shares of more quality miners who have proven reserves and enough cash for at least a year, even though I’ll take the 80% loss in my shares.

Not knowing where Rugby stands, or what they are doing, I don’t have much confidence in this company, and am fearing if I continue to hold, the company will go out of business, and the shares will go to zero.

Is there any reason at all to own Rugby Mining shares at this point?

I look forward to your input.

    All the best,
    Tom

    Irish,
Is’nt that story recycled every time supply gets tight.
I wonder if Universiy of Texas ever received good delivery?
We know MF Global client’s got stiffed.
Taking delivery is requiring more patience than wating for a knee replacement in London.

Al, you mentioned that you didn’t think anyone knows the mid-term or long -term direction of the gold market is. I don’t like to disappoint you but I believe I know the long-term direction. I’ve never been more sure of the long-term direction of gold—-it’s going to be up and a lot higher then it is today I might add.

      HI Doc,

I did say that. No one really knows what tomorrow will bring.

Based on what we believe to be hard evidence, we can have a pretty good idea. But, for sure, I don’t believe so.

And this is the reason you should take physical delivery. Think all those Swiss banks are safe? Think again.
