First I will say that I will always be thank-ful for making the decision to listen to you years ago.

I will add that I was going to leave this site as I became so digusted. It was one of your commentators that asked me not to leave.
I am here for the commentators, not to necessarily agree with the host or the guests.
The Worldly presence of the commentators is what keeps me here. Every time someone from a Foreign Country was banned it was all of ours loss, regardless of their opinion.
I posted a video about the USS Liberty. I also said that it was not the Jewish people that were to be held accountable, but rather the Administration that gave the orders. Servicemen just follow orders, rarely do they make the decisions.
I do not agree anymore with our Governments position with the Israelii Administration.
I no longer can support Government aid for late stage abortions, lear jets for Hagee………
You have put a lot of stock in Mr McKinney. Mr McKinney likes to talk about yesterday, I no longer live for yesterday but I am present in the moment and live for today. Mr McKinney had the audacity to make a morality call on me.
I am a peacetime Veteran. We never killed anyone, not that I didn’t want to.
Now that I have raised a family of my own, I can see the short comings of my thinking.
Finally, I am a realist. I realize the mess that previous Political Administration have put us in. I am not happy. No amount of happy pills will change me. I know what lies ahead for my Children and Grandchildren financially unless a new way of thinking is brought forth. Unfortunately this is my reality.
I cannot dismiss the big picture any more.
Every day I start with a prayer to God.

Strangely, a few hours ago I was chatting to a neighbor of Ellison Onizuka, who died in the Challenger explosion. His folks still live in their same home in Hawaii. We were talking of the added danger trying to get to Mars and whether it could happen in our lifetimes.
And how could I have forgot Mr. Moriarty.
I think everybody knows that Mr Moriarty is arrogant and rude. I would venture to say he is good with that as well. That is what makes him unique in his own way.
Mr Moriarty also understands from what I have gained the short comings of extended wars fought under false pretenses and the human cost associated with this.
He did write a book “The Art of Peace” Mr Moriarty much like myself has expressed his disapproval of letting the Israeli Administrations dictate American Policy.
No body receives a blank check in my world, I would be willing to bet that nobody does as well in Mr Moriartys.
Hi John..I agree with you regarding Bob , But i relate to him , like me he likes to call a spade , a spade…some people cant cope with that , they want to to call a spade , a shovel.
I do get where you come from John…It is sound reasoning…even if not what people want…It is real and it is probable that the offspring will have a tough tough slog of it…and, I appreciate Al allowing for these expressions of reality although hopefully not absolute predictions……..We have our hero and the left is unrelenting in the stinging attacks of him…He gets back up every day …What more can be said…
Hello AL…..Thank You for your comment with regards to me. I also regard You as a FRIEND , as i do with others on this site . I like BOB was put off by the picture of JIM , when he first appeared on your site , wearing all those ribbions on his chest. But i have come to respect his comments , over time i think he is perhaps 100% genuine.
Al life is like a a play .a play with four parts…Childhood / it seemes to go on for ever .
Teen years…Still a long time , but pases quicker . Adulthood , may seem slow , but then you have children , babies / to todallers / & then teens , & we look at them & think were did the years go…time seem to be passing quicker. Then we get to our ages , Act Four of the play…This is the time when of our lives when it feels leke time is on steriods…it’s bloody short .

IMO..This covid thing , is no more dangerious than the seasonal flu virus.
My advice is embrace life . embrace Your children / grand children & friends . Get out there & enjoy the rest of Your lives to the full…..& in the words of the song……..

Big Al, I agree with you on expressing the need for more positiveness rather than negativity. There is much more to be gained when we can disagree without being disagreeable. The free and civil exchange of ideas and differences of opinion will help us more to better understand each other. Ronald Reagan was very good at this, as he was able to disagree with his political opponents with humor and because of his ability even his opponents became his friends rather than enemies.
