Rick Ackerman sees weak US Dollar putting floor under Silver and Gold
Big Al sits down with Rick Ackerman of Rick’s Picks and discusses the current downturn in precious metals prices and where he sees the rally coming.
Rick Ackerman is the editor of Rick’s Picks and a partner in Blue Fin Financial LLC, a commodity trading advisor. His detailed strategies for stocks, options, and indexes have appeared since the early 1990s in Black Box Forecasts, a newsletter he founded that originally was geared to professional option traders.

Bruce,
thanks for the post ,,,I use to listen to Bob Hoye,on Howestreet.com,but, found that he was a little slow concerning the metals market. (this was a couple years ago)
my memory has slipped since then(retirement will do that to you)
I might try your recommendation concerning inst. advisor.com.
thanks again
Hi Jerry,
That is why Big Al will NEVER retire!
Big Al
Hey Bruce S,
Thanks for helping Jerry out.
Best,
Big Al
James Turk: I don’t see any major price correction in silver. Forget about $40, maybe even forget about $42 or $45 http://www.larsschall.com/2011/05/04/the-war-on-gold/
James Turk sure was wrong a few days after his prediction silver crashed and has further to fall. James Turk is a stock market permabear and a gold permabull. In the first half of 1996 he was calling for a top in the stock market and for gold to go from $400 up to $500. Instead the stock market gained over 20% that year and over 20% in each of the next 3 years, making it the greatest time to be in stocks, while gold fell to under $300. James Turk has no credibility.
Hi James B from Canada,
I currently agree completely with you. Listen to the Weekend Show (particularly the segment with Rick Ackerman) to hear why.
Thanks for the comment,
Big Al
Rick Ackerman turned out to be wrong. Silver and gold went lower than his worse case target and will go even lower in the next several weeks. Also the dollar went higher and not lower as Rick Ackerman predicted.
Hi AL…
Who is ROSS CLARK?
THANKS
