    JOSEPH:

While I do see your point, we must not look a gift horse in the mouth. I am not sure about you, but Big Al and his awesome guests have made me money via their advice (without which, I would be in the dark). I have asked Big Al in the past if He would be chatting with the Canasil CEO in the not so distant future, and he was very quick to respond by inviting him onto the program a few days later. Come on now, which other talk show host / newsletter writer would do that for their listeners / readers? Not very many.

Not to mention, this incredible advice as coming to us at a very minimal fee — EL ZIPPO, NILCH, FREE!!! Give the man a break … he is a great gentleman and is doing all he can to make us prosper!!!

        Aug 16, 2011 16:24 PM

        I agree wholeheartedly!
Al, you are doing a fantastic job in keeping us updated on relevant issues. You website and talkshow gives us a very good basis from which to do some more digging (no pun intended). Almost all resource company websites have a company presentation that gives a good overview of what’s going on. I find the Management interviews that you have been putting on your website puts a bit more flesh on the bones. Ultimately the onus is on us to collect enough information from various sources to make a decision on whether one should invest.
        Keep up the good work.

          Good Evening Hemal Patel,

Many, many thanks. truly appreciate our input.

Any future comments or questions, please keep them coming.

Enjoy these days, folks. In 10 or 15 years from now, we’ll all be looking back on a then-ended resource bubble, thinking about “how much information (and entertainment) we got on that little Korelin website, back when all computers had keyboards.” I’ve been on the intranet before it had a name, and bulletin-board systems before that…you don’t get this kind of site very often!

        Thanks again Al!

      Good Morning Bentnail,

      Thanks for the kind words,

      Big Al

        Aug 16, 2011 16:49 AM

        HI AL,

FIRST OF ALL IT WAS AN IMPORTANT POINT TO MAKE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE SHOW. ONLY A POINT FOR IMPROVEMENT. THE MORE INFO THE BETTER THAT IS ALL. AS FOR YOUR DISCLOSURE AL PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE THERE IS NO NEED. YOU SEEM TO BE ON THE UP AND UP. AND STOP IT WITH SELING OR BUYING IN THREE DAYS. UNDERSTAND THAT HAVING A SHOW WITH GOOD INFO WILL ONLY IMPROVE THE SHOW. I LISTEN TO PETER SCHIFF RADIO AND HE CANNOT SPEAK OF ANY PARTICULAR STOCK AT ALL. IS THIS NOT RIDICULOUS. USA IS SUPPOSE TO BE THE LAND OF THE FREE. WHAT HAS HAPPENED? AND YET THERE ARE PEOLE THAT PUMP AND DUMP WITH NO RECOURSE.

          Aug 16, 2011 16:48 AM

          Thanks Giuseppe,

I am still going to stick with the three day rule that I have set. I know that you don’t agree, but it is just something I want to do.

          You’re a good guy, thanks,

          Big Al

        AL:

You deserve the kind words my friend!!! Here we all are getting a free service from you with top of the line investment advice from you and others, so I do not see how anyone can complain – even if they lost their shirts from the advice. We are all adults on here and this is not a babysitting service (“you didn’t put any walnuts on my icecream — boo hoo”). I don’t get it!!!

That said, may I be so brave as to ask you “if you were to chose your top three investments — three that you currently own that you believe have the best chance of success in the short to mid term — which would you choose.

I understand that all are great options, but if you were to narrow it down, what would you pick and why? (short reply is fine — long is too, but I understand that you are a busy man)

Thanks Al — I mean that!!! Not only are you doing us all a huge favour by helping us less than knowledgeable mining investors out (namely myself), but you really do have a humble attitude which I truly admire!!!

          Hi Bentnail,

          Listen to today’s Daily Editorial.

    Thanks AL,
it’s not so much about going into your personal investment in specific companies, but more about available cash and indicated, really say measured ounces in the ground of a certain project or company – nevertheless your presentations are one of the most objective and interesting I have listened to on the web,

    best regards and thanks again,

    Bernard

      Hi Bernard,

Many thanks for the kind words.

If a person is not honest what does he/she have?

That’s awesome news Al! If I may, can you confirm that staff from Even Keel Media were present at the opening of the new Mine at Majestic in China a few months back. There are people claiming online that a team was there to record the grand opening. Also, since you and Rod are friends, do you think you can get him back on the show to answer some questions?

      Aug 16, 2011 16:24 PM

      Hi Rob,

Yes, I can confirm that to the best of my knowledge, Carter Smith of Even Keel Media was there.

Can you tell me when it will be aired? TIA.

      Hi Rob,

They, as yet have not approved it.

Also, what are the chances of getting Rod in to answer some questions?

    Aug 16, 2011 16:01 PM

    Hi Al and All,
It’s important to remember that Al is not a registered investment advisor, and therefore he does need to be careful about what he says and how he says things.
Having said that, Al has nothing to hide, at least as far as I am able to tell. Many of the companies that he is personally invested in are also covered by other news letter writers, so there are lots of resources out there where we can do due diligence prior to making a decision to purchase a particular stock.
I personally subscribe to two news letters, and I after reading them, along with regularly listening to Al and his guests, I then do my own additonal research, and then I make a decision as to what and when to buy.
I want to be in control of my own investment decisions, so even though I appreciate whatever Al does on his site and audio shows for us (and I do truly appreciate it) I still do not view what he is providing as “advice.” He makes his own investment decisions and I make my own investment decisions, and if something great happens, I get to take the credit, but on the other hand, if something goes south, then I also take responsibility for the decision I made.
Keep up the great work, Al. You’re shows are some of the best on the web, and I must say that Roger Wiegand is an amazing forecaster. I listen to you guys everyday.

    Hey Big Al,
What you are doing is wonderful. But, noticed no “Market Trends” today by Trader Rog. Rog is not being retired, is he?
    Jim

      Aug 17, 2011 17:46 AM

      Hi Jim W,

Not a chance in the world.

He is going to Japan on Thursday to visit his son and his family. Short trip for him as he will be back the following Tuesday.

We are going to have dinner with him tonight and I will ask him to do a Market Trends from there if it is possible.

      Best,

      Big Al

Hi, Al, I think most people don’t appreciate the hard work you do. I have visited the offices of many of the companies you have profiled. You do in five to ten minutes what might take me an hour or so of information gathering with a company representative. It takes a considerable amount to take a large and complex story of mining company and condense to brief and easy to understand report. I would say to any of your listeners that you are only providing highlights of a company’s activities.

I have met representatives of Amarillo Gold, Extorre Gold Mines, Western Potash, and Orko Silver to name a few and they are more than happy to speak to the public. I think your profiles are only a teaser and interested investors should call or email directly a representative of a company for more details.

I think ultimately the decision to invest in a stock rests with the individual. This is a very personal and subjective decision. Everyone has their own sense risk tolerance versus reword.

I think there are two areas the show happens to overlook in junior resource companies, There is only limited coverage on oil and gas companies and I have not seen coverage of any drilling companies. The oil and gas report with Keith Schaefer is great, but it would be nice to have a follow up interview with the company’s management or a profile of the company. The growth in the junior oil and gas sector has been strong over the last 3 years and it would be a shame to ignore it.

    Aug 17, 2011 17:47 AM

A few oil and gas companies I would like to see covered are Celtic Exploration (CLT), Donnybrook Energy (DEI), Blackbird Energy (BBI), and Pennant Energy (PEN). These four companies are involved in a hot area of oil and gas exploration in the Montney Deep Basin area of Alberta.

I would also like to say thank you for the fantastic work you, Trader Rog, and your guests do on economics, finance, and asset based investing. I have learned a lot from your show and I appreciate the hard work you put into educating the public.
