The best way to ‘keep your powder dry’ is to use military cartridges that are designed to resist water. A sealant is painted around the edges of the cartridge and the primer so the powder can ‘stay dry’ when the cartridge is submerged. Use a good scoped rifle with the dry cartridges to pick off good stocks after the current lunacy has died down; so ,yes….keep it dry.

We bought some oil this morning on a reco. The embargo on Iran should juice up crude prices for the Middle East. The oil reserve shortfall news was part of their plan. We can see the Santa rally in progress and one of our best brokers thinks it can go right through Xmas with only a mild holiday pause. Frirst half of January could be a seller. Gold now supported solidly above 1607. Silver cannot get through 30.00+ on the older 200-day moving average. We expect some traders to make money between 12-16 and 12-30…some folks never rest.- Traderrog
