SEG 7 AND 8……..income tax , 1864, Civil War, 1%, ….was to cover the expence of the war………….
So, TODAY,…. WAR and Income TAX,…….if we continue to have war,,,,then your CAESAR WILL need to Collect……,without war ,,what would be the tax…..?.
Here is one for you……RENDER UNTO CAESAR, which is Caesar……, the problem here is who is Caesar,,,and how does little Caesar ,get his power,,,,,,,

Glen and Walter…..are what they call …..”BALL(s), lost in high weeds”…..
Caesar,,can not mind his own business,,,,,,WAR,,,,is a necessity,
    Tell, GLEN,,,govt…is Caesar…….do some history lesson………

AL……FEAR NO EVIL…..for who is with you?

“Thank God we have free speech!?”

Al said “Thank God we have free speech!”
The statement begs the question…..do we in fact have free speech?
The original scandal not in terms of now known chronological events but in terms of when it broke in the news was Benghazi. At best our commander in chief was asleep at the switch and neck deep in the political lie that “it was a spontaneous protest as a result of a YouTube video.” This scapegoated lie is in itself and attack on free speech….something Obama soon after apologized to the UN Assembly “The first amendment is something that needs to be endured!”

The same people who killed Kaddafi killed the ambassador and three others. Obama was just as motivated to arm the Syrian rebels then as he is admittedly today. It seems Obama and his State Department have a perfect record of siding with the Islamic religious extreme in their opposition of the secular. Think failure to support Iranian secular protest in 09, support of religious backed rebellion in Egypt, Tunisia, Libya and Syria. A perfect consistency of supporting those aligned with those who we went to war against in Iraq and Afghanistan. Could it be that the Libyan ambassador was involved in a Ollie North-esque arms deal? But why speculate Obama distanced himself from Presidential responsibility by going to bed. Obama was trying to vote present during a violent outburst directly resulting from the aftermath of a war he started. Four people died. At least two of the dead died several hours after Obama was aware of the conflict with the Calvary more than not in sight….the Calvary was ordered to stand down. This was the scandal.
All the remaining scandals have one thing in common. COERCION. In the order of how they broke in the press…IRS Scandal…..AP reporters wire tapped…IRS Patriot/Tea Party ring leader heading IRS Obamacare enforcement…..NSA collects everything.
Now let us ask ourselves….If the IRS selectively enforces its scrutiny based solely on the content of speech? If reporters are intimidated with a warning shot that we are listening? If the responsible party of the IRS selective enforcement is rewarded with the oversight of Obamacare taxation? If the very message I type is being scrutinized by the NSA Department of Truth aka Department of Mis-Information? Then we have to ask the question…Do we really have free speech?
In my opinion Benghazi is the scandal! The others are scandalous but have been reported on extensively to intimidate. Do you remember the SEIU/Teamster thugs who were practiced at taking video intimidating of Tea Party Obamacare opponents asking questions at Town Halls. The coercive tactic was clear communication “WE KNOW WHO YOU ARE!” Benghazi is the real scandal all the other scandals are Obama telling his opposition…… like Archie Bunker told Edith to “Stifle!”
While we still have the appearance of free speech subject to retribution and aggressive selective audit I offer the below for your consideration…..Although Obama is listened to with undue respect and Archie is buffooned by a laugh tract……watch the below link and ask yourself but for undue admiration and targeted ridicule who makes more sense:

      Jun 15, 2013 15:44 AM

To me, Benghazi is the afterbirth of the REAL scandal. One thing leads to another, so let’s start at the beginning.

      1. The Libyan terrorists who blew up a plane in flight that carried several Americans were arrested, convicted and jailed in the UK. President Reagan also retaliated with F-111s bombings that killed a couple of Kaddafi’s sons and preformed some Libyan urban renewal (at least the demolition side of it). Kaddafi crawled back under his rock, and that was that.

      2. Then out of the blue we hear that British Petroleum was striking a deal with Kaddafi over Libyan oil; and near simultaneously we hear in the news that the mastermind of that mass murderer jailed in the UK was being released because he had poor health!!! No kidding, when was the last time a convicted mass murderer was set free because of health reasons???

      3. Soon thereafter, everything went silent regarding the BP oil deal with Kaddafi; and it stayed that way for quite some time.

      4. Then all of a sudden Kaddafi is trashed in the media–ironically for being no more than what he always was: a two-bit despot. It was yet another full course press in the mainstream media: ‘Kaddafi must go, he abusing his people, blah, blah blah. We must save the women and children–God is watching, as Kaddafi tries to put down a revolution that strung up out of nowhere.

      5. So we go to the UN to get yet another no-fly zone to be enforced by NATO. The problem is a no fly zone means: COUNTER AIR–period. Counter air means you get to shoot down airplanes and crater runways so planes can’t fly. But mission creep being what is was (faster than a speeding bullet), America used it’s air superiority to not only protect rebel ground forces from air attack, but gave close air support on the front line of battle to take out Kaddafi ground forces, and then went one step further with air interdiction to sever logistic support to his ground forces. Simply put, America became the full spectrum air force for the rebels fighting in every aspect of war. Fool me once, shame on you…… Is it any wonder that the UN General Assembly or Security Council were going to let America play that same game in Syria?

So as most recently with Iraq and the Iranian revolution under Eisenhower, we see British Petroleum fingerprints all over Libya. Also, when you add the disinformation we gave to the UN over Iraq, plus the mission creep in Libya, you begin to see why we are losing credibility with the rest of the world. Maybe that’s why Russia sent their marines into Syria at the first sign of another ‘spontaneous’ revolution across the MidEast.

Thus the real scandal in the Middle East is that after decades of lies and mischief, no one believes us anymore.

        Jun 15, 2013 15:59 PM

The show and my posts were a reference to more recent scandals.
You made some very good points in expanding the timeframe.
Seculars could say that scandals started when something crawled out of the primordial soup. More religious might say the sandals began as soon as Eve bit the Apple.
As far as Al comment….I was not referencing issues specific to this sight but it would be a mistake to think the ‘politically correct’ are not flexing their muscle to dissuade dissent with their road to serfdom orthodoxy.

          BJ
          Jun 16, 2013 16:31 AM

I agree Dennis: ” it would be a mistake to think the ‘politically correct’ are not flexing their muscle to dissuade dissent with their road to serfdom orthodoxy.”

They don’t work like that; it’s more subtle. They watch and listen, and when the political oligarchs have had enough they find a way to get you–not for what you say in public but because a police state can always snare you with something off the wall. Those who think America doesn’t have political prisoners have yet to fully participate in the political arena.

I’m no fan of the Clintons, but look at the White Water scandal. It’s not about right or wrong it’s power politics–win, lose or draw.

Can you enumerate our ‘national strategic securities interests’ in the Mideast? I can’t; yet the corporate media says we’re over there to protect ‘our’ ‘strategic interests’. So there we go–another open ended undeclared war started for dubious reasons with no particular purpose in mind.

They say we must escalate our military involvement in Syria to ‘end the violence’. How serendipity is that? A dichotomy at best…. If humanity was out primary concern we wouldn’t have sponsored that revolution in the first place. If Iraq and Afghanistan are a prologue, then we’re about to create more problems for ourselves than we solve.

Also, it’d be nice to know the definition of “OUR” strategic intersts. Are they talking about WE THE PEOPLE or the multinational corporations who owe allegiance to no one, but profit greatly at the expense of we the people’s blood, treasure and constitutional rights?

Our Congress owes, we the people, an open, thorough, uncensured debate on just exactly what we’re doing over there, why we’re doing and exactly what is the victory criteria.

“Trade with all, alliances with none.” –Our founding fathers knew better while most Americans are clueless.

            Jun 16, 2013 16:22 PM

            BJ
            I agree with your insight!
Sometimes I tink we live within the Bastiat “Broken window” analogy.
Unfortunately we are the broken glass and the manipulators are the glazers
who hire pawns to throw rocks at plate glass.

            Jun 16, 2013 16:54 PM

I do agree BJ that the American people need to know the reasons that we are there.

Canada’s tax collectors CRA are every bit as intrusive and harassing as the IRS has become.

They are growing in scope and will spend $10 dollars of someone else;s money to get back $5.

Cory, don’t be foolish, there is every reason to believe the CRA is targeting people, and groups for harassment.

Truth is, if it goes around it comes around to Canada. Our governments answer to any problem is MORE taxing. TAKE MORE is the motto.

And in a socialist country that’s the attitude: TAKE MORE (I deserve it) GIVE LESS.

    TAKE, TAKE, TAKE,
    TAKE, TAKE, TAKE,
    TAKE your booty,
    (Government) Takes your booty……

    Jun 15, 2013 15:11 AM

    Al:

An excellent show; hard to disagree with anything stated.

Query: Does Canada or any other country have any better tax treatment on PM sales than the rather draconian/confiscatory rates that we have in the U.S. ?

      Jun 15, 2013 15:52 AM

Don’t know but will certainly find out.

      Big Al

      Jun 15, 2013 15:31 AM

I didnt think we were taxed on sales, we have dealers that just pay cash, no records, saying its all legal. The big dealer has started taking names tho.

      Jun 15, 2013 15:08 PM

      Dai Uy;
If you are referring to individuals selling their bullion; I found this entry from 2011.

      quote:
“If you are determined to add gold to your portfolio, talk to your accountant about the tax regulations. Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has some very complicated rules on the taxation of profits from selling physical gold, as well as what you can and cannot do with fees related to the investments.

“Generally, you can choose how you want the CRA to treat your gains or losses on the sale of commodities, including gold and other precious metals. For tax purposes, proceeds from dispositions can be treated as income or as capital gains.

“If you choose the income option, all profits are taxable and losses can be used to offset any other income.

“But most taxpayers opt to report gains from commodity transactions on capital account because only half the gain is taxed. In those cases, however, if you have a loss, it can be used only to offset capital gains, not against other income.

“Warning: Once you choose a tax treatment, you must stick with it for all future commodity trades.”

Japan “will be the first developed nation to experience financial meltdown.“ posted June 15, 2013, http://beaconreports.net/kyle-bass-tells-beacon-reports-its-checkmate-for-japan/

      Jun 16, 2013 16:56 AM

Kyle is correct, Dennis. The key takeaway from his remarks is that there will be significant flows of capital out of Japan as an outcome of the Abe governments policies. More significantly we will see a situation develop that will be simultaneously supportive of the US Treasury markets AND US equity markets. There are billions upon billions of dollars (Trillions of Yen) that will be looking for a new home over the coming years and will beneficially feed life into bonds and stocks on our shores. This is a critical development for investors to begin to understand now at this early stage in the game. The opportunity now exists for the Fed to withdraw from stimulus as capital (real money as opposed to artificially conjured digital money) shifts from Japan to America and relieves pressures here on the Fed to buy up the majority of Treasury issues. Make no mistake….this is a game changing dynamic that has come into play and will be one of the primary determinants of both US debt financing and the creation of a supportive environment for stock markets for many years to come. The carry trade is dead but in its place we have wealth and capital shifting to where it is both needed and required while allowing a Fed exit from the QE’s. To understand how and why this will come about we only need look at the mechanics of capital flows, demographics in Japan, interest rates and the sentiments of fear related to potential loss. Japanese banks and insurance companies are already drawing up plans to survive. You can be certain they are not going to fail because of nationalistic idealism or another experiment in debt monetization. Not at all. Capital flight is a certainty and the best option now available from a position of security, absence of political risk and future growth dynamics is what is on offer in the US. Kyle is one very smart man in my opinion as he was quick to recognize what most others do not see. Is it any surprise his fund has been so successful?

Excellent show as always – thanks Al.and to all other contriibutors.

Ref segment 4. and of depicting the Chinese as excellent poker players re their production and purchase of gold outstripping everyone else, Adam Hamilton 0f Zeal intelligence speaks of some junior PM stocks now representing that rarest hand in poker namely a Royal flush, comparable to odds of 650,000 chance to 1.

      Jun 15, 2013 15:29 PM

Speaking of which on 22 April a valuation was done between the purchase of one tonne of Goldcorp mineable ore at $10.26, compared to common dirt, as follows:
One tonne of Topsoil – $31.74.,
One tonne of compost – $49.59., and
One tonne of mulch – $88.16.

Who said there wasn’t money in muck?

        Jun 15, 2013 15:48 PM

I you`re on to something Andrew. I can see why so many so-called producers are going broke, they could become sand and gravel producers instead, any lime they produce could be used by their investors after the miners are shot to death.

          Jun 16, 2013 16:15 AM

Something to be said for that, Andrew. One of the guys I know who made money faster than almost anyone else was involved in gravel pit operations and a stone quarry. The other guys thought it was the dumbest least glamorous of occupations but he became a multi-millionaire in short order supplying to construction for new housing and roads. Went on to become a developer and started dabbling in everything you might imagine but the gravel revenues at the core were an endless stream of wealth with a very simple business model. He equated it to having a printing press and minting money……dirt and rocks pay very well it turns out.

            Jun 16, 2013 16:45 AM

Sand and gravel do pay, good to hear that there are other ways apart from gold & silver, to making money. My ore is interesting is a kind of sand, alot like black sand, though black sand is mostly iron, it does have contained in it many thousands of ozs. of gold/Pd in it, that goes unnoticed by most, even assays can be very tricky if its not done right. Then there have been gold thats so finely divided that you could be walking on it and not even notice you were walking on gold. As one person has said, gold is where you find it. Be gold or sand & gravel.

Does Iran’s new (more moderate) president Hassan Roulhani suggest any softening in the Middle East?

Not in the words of Israel’s PM Netanyahu addressing the Knesset: ‘The result of the elections won’t change a thing’, he tells them. Whoever got in it was always a choice between bad and bad.

Obama and the plan for World War 3 – Best documentary film 2013 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nTeWwPMiqvs benb whether you support or not this government, we all will be dead or dying from exposure from high energy X-rays, and from gamma radiation from particles in the upper atmosphere, the EMP from a blast over land will knock out all technology everywhere, power grids will be gone. Even if you had your PC off & hidden away to check the narkets for your gold trades later, years later, if you survive. What about the networks they whould be all gone, only a flash, the shock in rapid air volume would destroy all the land mass of structures, metals like gold silver PGM`s all could have been irraditated and toxic due to radiation. [ years ago I had a friend produce from some ore using a nuclear process approx. 50 Lbs. of gold, it was all radioactive with half-life was way too much for many years – toxic waste in gold ]. I could go on and on, I know what high energy particles will do………………spontaneous nuclear transformation is bad news unless your a weapons designer. Have a nice day, week-end…………

      Jun 16, 2013 16:07 AM

Dennis I’ve just seen the Obama video, which is clearly designed to scare the proverbial b…jesus out of those who watch it.

Not only was it used as an obvious powerful Republican tool to try and scupper Obama’s re-election chances, I found the sultry female voice-over nauseous. She sounds every bit as detached as those repulsive automatons she’s condemning. Nor am I persuaded that Obama’s any more ‘clinically insane’ than all those other power-crazed psychos either in charge, or bidding for power.

Further points to make: Much of the footage seems to have been taken in the aftermath of Hiroshima/Nagasaki, the Japanese Tsunami and other carefully choreographed footage of controlled nuclear explosions. And if we haven’t learned some of the lessons from such footage already then God help us.

Even as I try to make sense of what Jesus says in such passages as Matthew 24 when he speaks of civilisation’s end, it seems clear to me that he will never allow mutually assured destruction to override his intervention. For despite the absolute hell on earth already inflicted on so many today, I for one rejoice in the imagery of divine powers intervening before any final conflagration is allowed to take place…..’with’ (v.24) ‘the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other’.

I’m sorry if I’m expressing myself clumsily or make little sense to those of a non-Christian persuasion. But as a Christian I believe ours is a message of eternal hope, and that we distract ourselves by getting sucked into some mushroom cloud of despair.

As I’ve said on previous blogs Satan (the prince of this world) is a fool, and God will not allow a fool to have the final say.

      Peace to you all!

        Jun 16, 2013 16:25 AM

I, too, am not “persuaded that Obama’s any more ‘clinically insane’ than all those other power-crazed psychos either in charge, or bidding for power.”

          Jun 16, 2013 16:34 AM

I am firmly in YOUR camp Matthew. They are all a little or a lot ‘crazy” with ego-centrism!

            Jun 16, 2013 16:53 PM

So what do you reckon Marc….the whole world’s going to go up in flames?!

          Jun 16, 2013 16:26 PM

I just happen to come across it, then figured I would put it up for benb, though I would have to agree with your what you say to some extent about Obama that he`s not only the most crazy there is out there. Yet I have on many cases urged IMPEACHMENT of Obama, Biden, Holder, the Republicans neo-cons with John McCain at the top of the list as he seems pretty ruthless, Obama`s inner circle those called czars. But for the moment Obama is pulling into yet another war, then another war with Iran, then its Cuba, then its N. Korea, then is just us here with our backs to the wall, we pleading for our lives as his henchmen are killing us……. But yes he`s not alone, but he`s the one with power right now. CFS would then probably say to you leave and get out while you still can & escape with what you can carry(assets) away as far as you can.

            Jun 16, 2013 16:47 PM

An interesting video Dennis. Updated from previous ones saying the same stuff. Maybe everyone is Psychopath, surley the people manning those “nukes” know what they can do, a person that would actually push one of those buttons would have to be insane.

People are proud of those guys, thats baffled me for some time now, how the heck can people be proud of people that kill children, torture etc and in this scenario destroy the entire planet?. I will never figure how that is somthing to be proud of, Oh well, people are as bright as bricks.

Is this comparable to your call on gold? Turn the dial if you don’t like him.

      Ditto, DT!

I second that comment completely. Just spent a great couple of days with my two youngest daughters and my youngest son in law.

AMERICA — From Freedom To Fascism (one hour, fifty minutes)

A very well done documentary. I’m about half way through watching it. May I suggest that viewers hold their beverage in a styrofoam cup so as not to break the monitor when one throws the cup.

I have said for forty five years that American’s are very much like Germans in many respects, and I still feel that way. DT

Bye the way I understand this because my ancestry comes primarily from Essen, I am a student of history and the similarities in thought (neo -cons) are very striking! DT

So too the Brits, DT. We may not have your religious fervour, but we (still) have more in common with Germany than with some of our so-called European allies.

By the way did any of you see/hear the body/language between PM Cameron and Putin ref the G 8 talks, and Cameron’s fixation with sending weapons to the Syrian rebels? The only salvation here is that Cameron may have to back down given that 80 or more backbenchers seek to rein him in.

Not so much clinically insane as clinically starry-eyed, methinks.

Irwin – a lot of mis-information is added to the basic truth that freemen have the right to the full fruit of their labor and that an employer-employee relationship does not produce “income”, but an exchange of equal value, therefore no “profit”.

As one looks in this rabbit whole, legal definitions such as “person” and “taxpayer” become crucial. I’ve only found one approach that actually makes sense, to the point where people get full refunds for withholding of tax and SS.

Take a look, once you read the material, let me what you think:

THIS WEBSITE IS DEDICATED to helping American men and women resume their rightful stature as the masters and mistresses of their own lives and fortunes, just as was intended by the founders of this great country. Achieving that end involves nothing more than
      1.) gaining an accurate understanding of our legal, economic and political structure as designed and implemented in our fundamental law;
      2.) learning how that structure has come to be widely misunderstood by the American people generally;
3.) learning how that general misunderstanding is broadly and deeply exploited by private interests; and
4.) standing up and insisting that the law be administered and upheld as written. It’s that simple.

For those who care about market fundamentals, specifically how the western economic and military instruments of powers are playing out on a global scale. Interesting take to say the least. Makes me laugh when we hear the corporate/mainstream media arguments for repatriating $trillions tax free–when the alternative staring them in the face is the ‘big buy in’ as with Cyprus. In short, they can pay their US taxes to fund the global military that advances the self serving interests of the oligarch or try to stop the national banks from taking take their money via buy ins!

Catherine A-F warns of the true meaning of Debasement.

Debasement means so much more than simply paying more, as e.g. with a can of tuna. Debasement = A higher price for a smaller tin for maybe a product that could end up poisoning rather than nourishing you, with everyone telling you lies or sowing confusion as an item’s true vale

I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own blog and was curious what all is needed to get setup? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I’m not very web savvy so I’m not 100% sure. Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
