Gold is breaking out today up over $17 and above the initial $1,260 to $1,265 resistance level. Chris Temple has been saying for weeks that he thinks the bullish case for gold is strengthening and now we are seeing a follow through.

    Funny Chris.
Not to take gold bugs thinking on gold.

Conditions between our “deep state”, N.Korea and Putin are beyond a “bad thing”.

Not sure if anyone recalls, a month or two ago? Putin gathered the journalists from everywhere he could, the west specifically, and asked them if they understood what they were doing, if they realized the position the americans were putting the world in?

Personally I dont see gold doing anyone any good, doesnt hurt, but very little if any advantage to owning it.
Might hit 50k but you may not be able to get a single egg with it.

We are closer today to our end than we were with the cuban missile crises.
geez, where is jfk when we need him?

Where is Khrushev when we need him?

Kennedy did not back down. The Russians were the sane ones.

Is Putin going to back down?

I think it was the two of them working together that prevented war, both sides had their neocons.
But, what do I know? I wasnt there.

      B:

When I heard that, it prompted me to write a book about my military service. Here is how I started. . .

“Instead of the triumph of democracy and progress, we got violence, poverty and social disaster ― and nobody cares a bit about human rights, including the right to life. I cannot help asking those who have forced that situation: Do you realize what you have done?”
― Russian President Vladimir Putin in a speech to the United Nations, September 28, 2015.

Why does it take the President of the Russian Federation to ask the question all concerned Americans should be asking of their leadership? “Do you realize what you have done?”
I’m reminded of the interview conducted by Lesley Stahl of 60 Minutes with the US Secretary of State in May of 1996. Ms. Stahl was commenting on the number of children under the age of five who had died as a result of the Clinton administration’s sanctions against Iraq from 1991 until the time of the interview.

Lesley Stahl: “We have heard that a half-million children have died. I mean, that’s more children than died in Hiroshima. And, you know, is the price worth it?”
Secretary of State Madeleine Albright: “I think this is a very hard choice, but the price – we think the price is worth it.”

Yes Bob, “worth it” makes me sick to my stomach.

But thats how our leadership thinks, and the people believe as they are told to think.

Thanks for trying Bob, youve done more than 99% of us, but other than divine or an alien intervention……maybe if we cross our fingers.

The other day you mentioned its a great time for us to start something, with so much of our equipment in disrepair (lol… genius)
turns out were short of pilots too.

A smart ruthless KGB thug against a smart ego-centric real estate developer.

    I don’t like it.

The two of them could have one heck of a timeshare business between them.

I woulder what CPI will be for March (announced mid-April)? My models are uncertain but probably similar to Feb’s 2.7 number.
I don’t think the statisticians were going to allow a print of 3.0% to happen!
