Teresa May will soon be gone.

This idiot appointed a cabinet for which 75% are against BREXIT.

Even the Labour Manifesto was for Brexit…..That means the SDP is basically the only party against Brexit.

Rumors abound that maany students at university double voted by postal vote at home and physical vote at uni.

Looks like Boris will be the new P.M. in a few months.

Meanwhile the EU is planning oin building a new $600 Million parliament building for themselves….incredible waste.

Go shopping in England; inflation is obvious.

SEATTLE (AP) — Ken Shefveland’s body was swollen with cancer, treatment after treatment failing until doctors gambled on a radical approach: They removed some of his immune cells, engineered them into cancer assassins and unleashed them into his bloodstream.

Immune therapy is the hottest trend in cancer care and this is its next frontier — creating “living drugs” that grow inside the body into an army that seeks and destroys tumors.

Looking in the mirror, Shefveland saw “the cancer was just melting away.” A month later doctors at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center couldn’t find any signs of lymphoma in the Vancouver, Washington, man’s body.

“Today I find out I’m in full remission — how wonderful is that?” said Shefveland with a wide grin, giving his physician a quick embrace.

This experimental therapy marks an entirely new way to treat cancer — if scientists can make it work, safely. Early-stage studies are stirring hope as one-time infusions of supercharged immune cells help a remarkable number of patients with intractable leukemia or lymphoma.

HOW WILL PATIENTS GET THE FIRST CAR-T THERAPIES?

If the FDA approves Novartis’ or Kite’s versions, eligible leukemia and lymphoma patients would be treated at cancer centers experienced with this tricky therapy. Their T cells would be shipped to company factories, engineered, and shipped back. Gradually, more hospitals could offer it.

Because only certain patients would qualify for the first drugs, others would have to search for CAR-T studies to try the treatment. A drug industry report lists 21 CAR-T therapies in development by a dozen companies.

40% in a Day is a Bad Sign in Mining Stocks

      Jun 13, 2017 13:07 AM

      Then “bad signs” are good!

        Jun 13, 2017 13:09 AM

        Correct.

          Jun 13, 2017 13:17 AM

I thought Nick (MiningBookGuy) had some good thoughts on early-stage unloved Exploration stocks, and I really enjoyed Jay’s (FiFighter) thoughts on how Producers & Developers led the way last year in 2016’s surge, but eventually after the sector gets moving, then the little Explorers eventually catch a bid and blow by everything in the tail end of the bull market asset cycle.

            Jun 13, 2017 13:57 AM

That’s right. We can speculate on all kind of things, like exploration, but with many of the junior explorers, we can clean up by speculating on speculation itself. In other words, bull market pricing is coming to the risky segment of the sector, and when it does, many juniors will easily rise 5x.
No exciting stories will be necessary, just decent properties, low market caps and, preferably, some working capital and no debt.

We will see shells going for $15M+

            Jun 13, 2017 13:10 AM

Sounds like a profitable scenario to me. I’m fairly well stocked up on a range of JRs 😉

            Jun 13, 2017 13:21 AM

This is Fed-Babble week and the last week of the GDXJ re-balancing so I may do a few more adds to positions here in the weakness, because I anticipate money that has been parked on the sidelines to flow back into the miners for a relief rally after this week.

            Jun 13, 2017 13:28 AM

It’s a good sign that the miners are up today even though the metals are down.

            Jun 13, 2017 13:41 AM

Yes, Jrs outperforming Srs and Miners outperforming Metals are an environment that is much more conducive to a breakout rally.

(HUM.L) (HUMRF) Hummingbird Resources ups stake in Yanfolila mine in Mali to 80%
    13 Jun 2017

“A 3% royalty to Mali over the project remains in place, with the government owning the remaining 20% of the project.”

“Dan Betts, Hummingbird’s chief executive, said reducing the royalties increases the benefit as “we firmly believe the mine life will increase significantly as we convert further Resources into Reserves once we are in production”.

“We continue to make excellent progress on site and as a result we continue to advance Yanfolila to production both on time and on budget.”

Hummingbird is targeting first production from Yanofilia by the end of 2017.

The mine has a probable reserve of 709,800oz at 3.14g/t and total resources of 1.8Moz of gold. ”

Regarding gold pulling back, on Monday the 5th, just before the miners started to move up, I said that “based on the big disconnect between gold and the gold miners lately, I think the miners just might catch a bid in that situation.”

And they have. GDXJ is up 7.5% versus GLD since that day:

Corvus Gold begins mapping, sampling at Mother Lode

    2017-06-13 08:46 ET – News Release

    Mr. Jeff Pontius reports

CORVUS GOLD OUTLINES MOTHER LODE PROJECT EXPLORATION AND RESOURCE DEFINITION/MINE DEVELOPMENT PLAN

Corvus Gold Inc. has provided its planned 2017 exploration and resource development program for the newly acquired Mother Lode project in Nevada, approximately 10 kilometres from the company’s North Bullfrog project. Corvus completed the purchase of 100 per cent of the Mother Lode property with the issuance of one million Corvus common shares (deal announced June 6, 2017, NR-17-6).

The 2017 Mother Lode work plan will focus on the preparation of a mineral resource estimation to comply with National Instrument 43-101 requirements (* historical estimate is 8.5 million tonnes at an average grade of 1.6 grams per tonne gold totalling 433,000 ounces of gold with the last significant exploration program occurring in the late 1980s; past heap leach production included 34,000 ounces of gold at an average grade of 1.8 g/t). The Mother Lode project has areas of potential mill and heap-leach-grade mineralization within a low strip ratio, open-pit configuration offering potential as a satellite operation for Corvus’s North Bullfrog project.

    * Quoted historical resource numbers are not National Instrument 43-101 estimates.

Jeff Pontius, president and chief executive officer of Corvus, said: “The Mother Lode project has potential as a large satellite operation for Corvus’s North Bullfrog project. In reviewing the project data, a number of areas have emerged that outline large potential for mineralization which could allow for an expansion of the proposed milling operations at the North Bullfrog project. The project has not been explored since the late 1980s when gold was trading at $400 per ounce or below. Additionally, the bulk of the past drilling on the project was vertical to depths of less than 200 metres and many times ended in mineralization. The Mother Lode has a unique value-add and synergy potential for Corvus’s North Bullfrog project.”
