The Discrepancy Between PM and PM Stocks
Jordan Roy-Byrne, Founder and Editor of The Daily Gold joins me today to shares his thoughts on the continued discrepancy between precious metals (especially gold) and the underlying stocks. With gold up 10% year to date you would expect the stocks to be up even more rather than flat for the year – as judged by GDX. Add in the recent short term lower low in GDX, it is hard to get excited int he near term. We also look at how gold is preforming compared to foreign currencies. Overall this is a better market for PMs but the going is still tough.

Too bad….it sounds like we need another 6 months to build out the rest of that @$!)&%%! right shoulder before we blow past that $1370-1400 zone.
There’s a good chance that a very good move in the miners is starting now but it will be months before they take out the 2016 highs.

The manipulation is still pro-USD, US Treasuries. I would love to see gold take off and silver rise, but that would mean a lack of faith in US policy and the people of the world panicking over threats to civilization. The “peace dividend” is the continual thievery of the central banks stealing from everyone else.
There are supposed to be new industrial uses for silver becoming mainstream soon. Maybe that will help silver finally get above $20/ounce again. I have no definite articles, just rumors on various sites.
Why do I always see Mr. Jordan Roy-Byrne as Mr. Rick Rule with a bad toupee? That haircut went out in the 1970s.
Big Al, Cory, and Doc are thinking of getting a cut like Jordan’s to bring it back in style.
If Moriarity wears his hair like that, I will too.
