Report: Inspector General Will Declare FBI, DOJ Broke Law in Clinton Email Probe

A new report suggests an imminent Inspector General (IG) report may rule that FBI and Justice Department officials broke the law in their handling of the Hillary Clinton email investigation.
Investigative reporter Paul Sperry said Thursday that Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz has “found ‘reasonable grounds’ for believing there has been a violation of federal criminal law in the FBI/DOJ’s handling of the Clinton investigation/s,” adding that the top watchdog official has “referred his findings of potential criminal misconduct to Huber for possible criminal prosecution.”

IG Horowitz Finds FBI, DOJ Broke Law In Clinton Probe, Refers To Prosecutor For Criminal Charges

As we reported earlier Thursday, a long-awaited report by the Department of Justice’s internal watchdog into the Hillary Clinton email investigation has moved into its final phase, as the DOJ notified multiple subjects mentioned in the document that they can privately review it by week’s end, and will have a “few days” to craft any response to criticism contained within the report, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Hi Doc, On Tues night I noticed a bulge in my right groin area and went to my doctor yesterday and he said it is a hernia, which I guess is better than a tumor or an anheurism. He gave me the name of a urologist surgeon but said there was no rush as I am not in any pain. Have you ever had a hernia? Did you have surgery or buy a support garment? Maybe Al and Bob can opine on this topic too. Health is better than gold.

      May 17, 2018 17:06 PM

Dang , hate to hear that,………take care…….and ditto on the health…

      May 17, 2018 17:03 PM

BB, first of all, you want to see a general surgeon for a hernia, not a urologist. I’ve got bilateral bulges but not a significant hernia. He’s right that there is no hurry as long as you have no pain and the hernia slides in and out without any strangulation.

Thanks, Doc. I wonder if this means I should stop doing chin-ups and pull-ups? I’d be sorry to do that.

    Doc,
Visited Holland, Saugatuck .. beautiful area. I believe you’re based of Grand Rapids. You have some of the best breweries in the country.

      May 17, 2018 17:06 PM

Cali, I wish I knew you were in the area—we could have gone out to lunch. I live only 20 minutes from Holland. I used to live in Grand Rapids but now live in the Grand Haven area which is north of Holland. You’re right about the breweries in Grand Rapids. Grand Rapids used to be recognized as the furniture capital of the country but now it is recognized as the brewery capital of the country.

Time to wrap this case up…………

    May 17, 2018 17:37 PM

Doc, what is your opinion at this time on Auryn Resources (AUG)? You mentioned the possibility of it going down between $1.00 to $1.25 for a good buying opportunity. It has gone down to $1.29 and seems to stay in a range between $1.29-$1.35. Is this as far as it goes or do you expect it to go lower as previously indicated?

Also, what is your opinion where silver will go down to before it begins its climb higher? $16.00?

      May 17, 2018 17:12 PM

Pardu, it looks pretty good for AUG at $1.25. I’ll probably pick a little up in the next 2 weeks. I believe that silver won’t break much lower then $16.00 in this current time frame.

(MQR) (MRQRF) Monarques Gold To Commission Its Beacon Mill In The Last Quarter Of 2018
    May 17, 2018

“This is a strategic decision for Monarques, as we expect to be able to operate the Beacon mill at full capacity for a long time,” said Jean-Marc Lacoste, President and Chief Executive Officer of Monarques.

“We are also proud to have excess demand for our custom milling services, as it reflects the quality of the service provided by our employees at the Camflo mill, which is currently operating at full capacity. These activities are also profitable for Monarques, of course, and will be even more so once we are producing at our full authorized capacity of 2,350 tonnes-per-day for the Beacon and Camflo mills.”

    Hi Doc,

I’m invested in an oil wildcat explorer called Torchlight Energy. I have been buying on the dips for the past few years. It is a company that I first learned about from Bob Moriarty’s site. Anyway the chart is in a large 12-month wedge consolidation pattern. There was a smaller wedge that started in October last year that broke out to the upside in March and since the price has been bouncing to the upside against the top rail of the larger wedge and on the downside backtesting the top rail of the smaller wedge. There are a few potential positive catalysts, one being a sale of non-core assets that the company recently announced were in play and fracking results in a new potential exploration play in Texas called the Orogrande region where they have a very large land package. They are reportedly selling off their non-core assets to focus in on this play which seems to indicate that their initial well in the Orogrande has exceeded their expectations. They are working on the laterals of that well now and results are expected any day. The downside is that they have had to keep issuing stock to cover their exploration so there has been a fairly significant amount of dilution. Just wondering how long you think best on your view of the chart how much longer this consolidation might last. Thanks in advance for your thoughts and understand its not investment advice.
