Just as suspected, GCC getting absolutely smashed this week. Weekly stochastics not yet oversold either, so more pain.

I remember pointing out the ugly black candle and gap formed on the daily chart in December 2017. Well it looks like we are going to for sure fill that gap and very likely match or drop below the December 2017 low. Now, if we were to take out the July 2017 low, that would be pretty shocking frankly.

Where is the inflation? There is none, and its 100% due to central bank policy coordination. Can they keep it up forever? Of course not. But they can keep it up for longer than any of us dream possible. The ECB knew exactly what the consequences would be for commodities as they are reflexively sold as USD rises. Also, it is public knowledge that CBs have accounts with the CME. You don’t think they are capable of naked shorting the sector into oblivion?

They know that as commodity prices tank, indebted producers are perversely forced to actually increase supply in order to meet debt covenants. So when you can manufacture a crash, the ramifications in terms of depressed prices for 10+ years are real.

Sounded like Doc and Jordan have similar concerns spanky.

Bob was saying the dsi are just now getting under 10 so a bounce could be coming.
Historically we get a bounce in July drop in Aug and move up from there once we bottom.

Looks to me like its all coming together.
      We’ll see I guess.

No inflation…….that is the stupidest comment anyone could say or think…….
The real world has inflation…….food, auto, gas, insurance, building cost, labor, shipping

        Jun 19, 2018 19:10 PM

Comment…….is for this region of the world………those in outer space, fly on by…… 🙂

          Jun 19, 2018 19:44 PM

          OOTB – Agreed. +1

          > For anyone with a pulse that lives on planet Earth, inflation is far more than what is being reported.

The cost of movie tickets, sport tickets, lawn services, dental medical services, college educations or private schools, home prices, insurance, and on and on… is WAY OVER 2%.

(give me a break from the nonsensical dingbats on the lame stream media that there is no inflation)

        Jun 19, 2018 19:52 PM

Gas is cheaper now than in 2008–a freaking decade ago.

The CRB is basically at the same level it was in the 1970s.

As far as input costs go, they haven’t been lower in absolute or REAL terms in 40+ years. The REAL value of US stocks (i.e., purchasing power as measured against commodities) is likely the highest its ever been in human history.

          Jun 19, 2018 19:46 PM

          HOW old are you……

            Jun 19, 2018 19:47 PM

            Drink the cool aide ……..

            Jun 19, 2018 19:49 PM

I hate to insult you, but,…….you do not know a thing…about inflation
Gas is cheaper, because there was a GLUT……….

            Jun 19, 2018 19:50 PM

Interest rates were depressed, …..but, sure did not slow down rents and housing cost…..

            Jun 19, 2018 19:48 PM

What was the cost of a Mustang convert. GT…in 2008……….$31,000
            TODAY………………………………………………………….$46,000
Pick any auto….I guarantee they cost more…..of course, if you can only afford the payment of $199……for 10 yrs…vs. 2008 6 yr payment plan…you would never notice or
            catch on the inflation cost……

      Jun 19, 2018 19:13 PM

The banks always want a crash…….to pick assets on the cheap……ask any banker…
since they are in a fractional reserve lending…..why, not…..

      Jun 19, 2018 19:03 AM

      Zucky, and Bezo Press………next…..

      Jun 19, 2018 19:28 PM

OOTB, that is GREAT new. If they sell themselves as a place you can make money and express your views and then they SLAM the door on you when you try, regardless of your view point, that is definitely false advertising. I didn’t eve realize people were suing Twitter. I wonder if people are suing Youtube. It’s just awful what is happening to people there.

        Hello johnnygeneric,
        thanks for the reply……
I do not know if this particular piece is false advertising or not…..but, I did think it was worth posting…..I guess I will have to follow up in the coming days, to see if this is actually happening, …But, one thing is for sure , if it good for the little people, the govt deep state shadow govt , will put a stop to it………….JMO

The trade wars are happening very quickly.
US and China are the two countries which count really.

The US has a choice of wealth moving into China at the expense of decreasing wealth in the US, or stopping it.
I think Trump would have let it go on if it were not for the theft of US expertize and intellectual property.
The U.s. could not have an edge in productive capability if China, with a cheaper mass labor force, stole all of US technology required to bring manufacturing capability up to US quality.
Maybe China is already there and US is left with only an declining edge in computing services, and oil production…..I don’t know.
I do know China is about to start competing in aerospace, with a competitive plane to the Boeing 737, the workhorse of medium-haul aviation.
The US has problems with satellite launch capability thanks to the bureaucratic incompetence of NASA. (Although SpaceX may save us.)
I know China has stolen much of US military hardware capability, including stealth technology, and is now competitive in that area.
I have never understood hy ARPAnet was not kept separate from the internet, so that hacking into US technology was more difficult, but that is water under the bridge.

Trump’s new Space Force would probably violate international space treaties, but what else in new?

It is my belief China already has at least two satellite-killer satellites in orbit, as I posted in this forum a couple of years ago when they were launched.

I hope the “space wars” end up bright enough we can watch clearly from earth.
Like the battle of Britain but higher up.

China said they may stop buying oil from the states and buy instead from Iran.
Hows that for a big f-u?

Hugo Price wrote a good article explaining american trade deficits and why.
I guess the way to get away from deficits is gold. surprise surprise.
Jun 16 Donald Trump’s “Madness” Hugo Salinas Price plata @ 321

The americans attacked the syrians again, ya really gotta wonder what Trump is up to.

Some people figure he is fighting the deep state cabal bankers zionists pedophiles…others say he is part of it.
Honestly I cant even fathom a guess anymore.

I wonder if we are in the middle of a revolution, not the guillotine kind, but an industrial kind.
Maybe every advance for mankind seems chaotic at the time?

      Jun 19, 2018 19:00 PM

Seems like Fitts, said the money , the $50 trillion missing, was from those wanting the space program……….TOO THE MOON……BABY…………LOL

    Jun 19, 2018 19:52 AM

If they crash, then it is time to buy the VIX, PMs, real stuff (commodities) and defensive stocks.

        Jun 19, 2018 19:10 PM

The smoke is belching but not from factory chimneys, the future of American industry is assured by the application of a distinctly modern principle the legalization and ever increasing consumption of cannabis. Have you been following weed stocks, real stuff. LOL! DT
