“Australian gold miners currently enjoy some of the highest margins in the world,” said Stephen Land, San Mateo, California-based portfolio manager at the $1.1 billion Franklin Gold and Precious Metals Fund. The producers are being supported by cuts to operating costs and stronger prices of bullion in Australian dollar terms.”

Next time I go to Australia I simply must see Perth on the west coast. The weather is beautiful all year, a place like no other unless you lived in California in the late 50’s and early 60’s. DT

IMO Ned speaks from a base of market country wisdom. It would pay many to heed some of his directions. He’s looking at the longer term and no one can tell another how long that will be. It’s more comfortable for most humans to stay where they are in the comfort of the herd until the stampede really begins. Then they will react like the herd and follow the movement in front of them….more like a bison than a lemming! Hope I’m still around to watch and experience it when it happens.
