Lobo Tiggre, Founder of the Independent Speculator joins me to share his thoughts on the trade tension news regarding China possibly cutting off exports of rare earth elements to the US. We’ve seen volume upticks and some stocks moving higher but is it for real? We then wrap up the call with comments on the moves into safe haven assets.

As an owner of Rare Earth mining companies I enjoyed watching a bit of a pop today in their prices but I know China is just rattling some swords. They ain’t into shooting themselves in the foot.

      Interesting comment Mike f.A.
The chinese love to play the long game and if they stop sending rare earths(not rare) the U.S. would find alternatives costing the Chinese future sales.

So ya, they could so it as shooting themselves in the foot.

Given all the spying by the Obama Administration of Judges Politicians and Journalists, over 300 individuals, since 2012, one has to wonder if the apparent bias in the MSM may actually be a consequence of blackmail used by the Obama Administration.

SPYGATE is one thing against Trump in order to cover up Hillary Clinton’s crooked behavior, but the extent of the spying uncovered so far is HUGE and growing bigger.

Barrick Gold does not appear to have much downside here even if a decent rally is not imminent…
