Positive trade talk driving gold down… Here are some levels to watch

Cory
July 1, 2019

With Trump saying that the meeting with Xi went well, talks are back on the table and tariffs are delayed some of the geopolitical factors driving gold have dissipated for now. That is driving gold below $1,400. Doc joins me to discuss the action today and share why he is still bullish for the end of the year. When you have financial markets so headline driven all investors have to be ready for these events and take note of the bigger picture.

I hope everyone in Canada is having a very happy Canada Day!!

Do not forget Chinese hacking of HRC’s server cost the lives (as far as we know) of 18 american spies operating in China.

Iran just exceeded the amount of enriched uranium allowed in the Obama non-treaty. It just announced today!

Basically agree with Doc’s overview. Now probably a very good time to determine what you would want to buy on a further pullback. I suspect that any pullback will not be around for too long so better to decide now exactly how you want your portfolio look than try and work it out when you have limited time.

I thought that the markets were going to scream higher today – DOW up 400 or 500 points. Rejoice! Rejoice! Trade war peace in our time.

Methinks Trump or the Fed will be sending out tweets by tomorrow.

Doc, what level do you think Auryn resources and klondike gold will get to in the pull back? Do you have any thoughts on what levels they will provide an opportunity or have they already bottomed?
