Chris Temple, Founder of The National Investor recaps the month of August in terms of the major markets we follow. The USD recent just made another higher high in this over 1 and a half year uptrend, while gold continues to move higher, and even the US markets had a strong wee to close the month. There are a lot of issues around the world which are keeping US assets elevated but not for good long term reasons.

No sooner did Cory post this conversation than The Orange Wonder was Tweeting once more about the strong US Dollar and the Fed. . .

“…we have a Fed problem. They don’t have a clue!”

St. Augustine — but up north right now, so will miss out on the fun and worry about the clean-up again when I am back.

Here is an interview with Tom Forte, Senior Research Analyst at DA Davidson & Co.He states overstock worth almost $50 dollars a share. They are offering a dividend 10 percent. That new dividend goes to t-zero exchange. What if more and more overstock common shares find their way onto the new platform of t-zero thereby removing those shares from the shorts of wall street.Five year head start in blockchain Technology.

Not sure I would believe anything Byrne has to say concerning anything…….
Considering he might be tied up with Warren B. and money washing….

I still marvel that we still consider a DXY number of 99.98 is considered “strong dollar”. What would we call the DXY at 160 like it was in the 80s?

The USD is….WEAK. And after rising just a bit more will get WEAKER.

Excelsior mentioned that unless gold and silver fell out of bed on Friday, then the overall picture remains fine. Well they didnt fall out of bed, perhaps one leg slipped over the side…haha! Like Ex said, if one looks back to the not so distant past for perspective then the PMs are looking strong. The only downside risks in short term appear to be some cyclical dollar strength. Perhaps a good excuse for further consolidation???

Side note: Anyone keeping an eye on rhodium? Wow!!! Just south of $5000. Classic supply and demand issues evidently at play here.
