The public wants securities which would return fast profits. Who wants stale bonds. We live in an era of fast self gratification, not unlike the madness of1929. Technology of cell phones and new trading platforms has made this ever so easy for someone to buy and sell stocks quickly and instantly from anywhere in the world.The days of phoning a broker or sending a telegram are now long gone but the downside when it comes will be brutal to all the rich and the unwary. Good thoughts DT. Yes, the ease and speed of entering the market casino has increased, but as you mentioned when the downside comes it will be brutal to the unwary. I believe the points that Goldfinger made above are interesting to consider, as so many new traders that got into the markets in March and rode up the relief rally are going to get a false sense of expectations, and Mr Market inevitably has future lessons planned when the things correct that will be quite instructive.
Let them make their profits. Eventually they’ll wind up on the gold & silver train, with free tickets to ride
