Broad market and gold outlook

Cory
August 31, 2020

Rick Ackerman kicks off today’s editorials with his updated outlook and targets for the US markets and gold. We recorded this late in the day on Friday but all the targets and outlooks are still valid with the slow start to the week. We are assuming that this week will also be a bit slower with the upcoming Labor Day long weekend.

      I think wild would be better ….than wide… 🙂

    Buffett , buying Japanese market……

    Aug 31, 2020 31:09 AM

Markets are totally insane…..following along the lines of insane BLM movement and an overstated virus/mask lock down, all is just guess work at this stage…..JMO

      Aug 31, 2020 31:02 PM

My friend that contracted the Virus over a month ago, died last week at 62. He never left the hospital. My neighbor the ER doctor is studying to be Board Certified in Canada. She hopes to teach at a Canadian Medical School and no longer work in an ER.
Not every one thinks it is a hoax.

OOTB Jerry, I agree at times the virus, masks and especially lock downs are overstated. Then again there are times that the virus and masks are understated.

Wayne……it is part of the agenda…..which I am sure you already know.
No one should be fooled as to what is taking place. All Planned way in advance.

It seems almost everything is part of an agenda.

Ex, Matthew, Doc, et al, does anyone here own Eskay Mining? I bought some this morning
    and eagerly await drilling results.

      Aug 31, 2020 31:13 PM

Hi bonzo – I don’t own Eskay Mining, but am aware of the anticipated drill results and they are in the right neighborhood.

There are just so many hundreds of companies with active drill campaigns right now, that it is a bit overwhelming.

        Aug 31, 2020 31:05 PM

Bonzo, I probably own half the mine—added to my position about 1 week ago—just betting on the come—will probably be disappointed like I often am on the river card in Texas Holdem.

        Aug 31, 2020 31:08 PM

Eskay has a couple of Quinton interviews on its site that aroused my greed and got me to buy@52 cents this morning. It closed@.56. Cabral was up almost 9% today and Eloro had a big move up too. Life is good. Merkel mus weg!

Yes the Q.H. plays are doing quite well lately.

(LIO) (LOMLF) Lion One’s First Wedge Hole Confirms High-Grade Lode at Tuvatu Gold Project in Fiji

    31 Aug 2020

“High-grade intervals from daughter wedge hole TUDDH500w1 include 70 g/t Au over 3.3m including two narrower intervals of 305.00 g/t Au over 0.3m and 255.00 g/t Au over 0.6m.”

“High-grade intervals encountered in mother hole TUDDH500 include 2.0m grading 46.70g/t Au and 12.7m grading 55.43g/t Au including sub-intervals of 4.7m grading 120.16g/t Au with an exceptionally high-grade core of 0.9m grading 582.33g/t Au.”

So glad I bought more LOMLF last week@1.41 and got my nephew to buy@1.43

        Aug 31, 2020 31:24 PM

Yep, I’m glad I added to Lion One last Monday at lower levels and in front of this news. More people are waking up to what they are doing drilling into that deeper feeder zone, and they have found the goods…. so that is good. 🙂

          Aug 31, 2020 31:58 PM

“We are intrigued by the apparent east or east-northeast trend of the newly discovered high-grade structure,” commented Dr. Quinton Hennigh, technical advisor to Lion One.

“Although we need data from our second wedge hole to better assess its precise orientation, it appears to trend in a similar orientation to the Murau lodes comprising the West Tuvatu lode system situated immediately to the west. If so, then this important structure may actually be the root of that system, too. This opens up the possibility of about 700m of westward strike. It is also open to the east, and our CSAMT data clearly indicate it is open at depth where it appears very deep-rooted. With information in hand, we are currently preparing drill pads to the south of this area so we can aggressively drill this target at a more orthogonal orientation along strike and at depth.”

Hi Tony, I owned Allied Nevada which is now Hycroft. I do not trust management. They told us everything was fine and then filed for bankruptcy a month later. My stock fell from over $40 a share to almost nothing. Now I have some warrants in Hycroft worth almost nothing.
Last month I thought about buying more Hycroft warrants at 10 cents but decide to buy shares of NuLegacy for 10 cents instead. NULGF is 16 cents today.

I think you will see a lot more of this in the next few years…….A lot of con artist out there, and there are only a couple of companies I would bet my lunch money on….
GOTS, Phyz in the vaults is a lot safer……..Return of capital is a lot safer , than speculation with a bunch of con artist……Man is not trustworthy…..put that in the bank… 🙂

          Aug 31, 2020 31:42 PM

Jerry you are right, the con artist just tells people what they want to here, buying stocks is thinking out of the box. DT

            Aug 31, 2020 31:57 PM

            Thanks DT….. 🙂

Rick, (Klaatu) I believe that we will see inflation first and then deflation. The last time I heard your interview I believed you thought it would be the other way around, could you please clarify your position on this very important matter. DT

      Aug 31, 2020 31:28 PM

DT – We truly are in bizarre times. The loss of jobs, shuttering businesses and contracting economy are deflationary, but the massive new money creation and falling dollar are inflationary. We aren’t even in a stagflationary environment, so it truely is the end of an empire, and late stage interventionist economic blow-off madness. Without the Central Banks it would be deflationary, but they are trying to inflate their way out of the black hole that has been created.

        Aug 31, 2020 31:41 PM

The unstoppable force of the inflationary Fed meets the immovable object of the imploding economy.

Ex, I believe a major depression is underway, the poisons are all there, too many to categorically list. Prosperity is more than an economic condition; it is a state of mind. DT
