Doc Jim Jones, Private Investor joins us to share his thoughts on the oil stocks, and group of stocks he likes. With oil continuing to break higher there are many stocks that have not kept pace with the rising price.
Looking at Doc Jones profile as reflected at the ceo.ca Emerita site, he lists the following holdings:
Largest Holding: Emerita
Notable Holdings: Big Ridge gold and Nobel Resources
Eneergy: ITE, Gasx
US Cash
I would expect that is not all he is doing as he has another account he mentioned in the interview which has MLP pipeline stocks.
So, what do folks think about Big Ridge Gold?
It seems to have suffered like all similar companies.

Hi Visitor. When we finally get the new website launched (it’s taking a bit longer than we anticipated), then there should be a edit/delete function.
We discussed having the block/ignore function as well, but am not sure if it will be possible based on the format we use for the chat. On a bright note, we should have a feature where folks can search back in time or by user and group all of one users comments together in a more refined search tool. Stay tuned.

I deleted most of the comments above that just turned into personal attacks on one another, name calling, and were not contributing to the site (something we loathe to do).
Hopefully we can get back to contributing about economics, investing, or at least be a bit more cordial to the members of the community.

I’m expecting CGN Mining and Chinese internet stocks to be up today in Hong Kong while most of yous are sleeping.
Do you think the Chinese are done picking on their tech sector? They’ve really tanked a lot of their own tech stocks and markets lately, but surely some of the companies are now oversold and could be ready for a relief rally.
Alibaba up 6% in HK Tuesday. If BABA gets turned around then they can lead the Chinese market out of this mess it’s been in.

Just a side note on all this regarding IP addresses. They’re a dime a dozen. Anyone can operate under two IP addresses with two different names all you need is two different devices. Most households have multiple smartphones and IP addresses.
I used another name it was just a joke and it wasn’t on another IP address a few weeks ago and it’s been dropped. Holy smokes, name. No more.
If someone wants to be deceptive, that’s on them. They will reap, what they sow.
We only store up wrath against ourselves. It will all catch up to us.

I thought today’s editorial from Doc Jones on the Oil market were quite insightful, and covered a lot of ground in the Energy sector.
Does anyone have any Oil stocks they are liking in the present setup that have good growth potential?
Chinese majors Petrochina, Cnooc, Sinopec are all undervalued, probably the China discount. Paying big dividends. Got the Chinese government behind them. Xi is begging them to go out and find moree oil.

It technically doesn’t stop someone from using 2 names Holy Grail, but we do our very best to prevent that from happening on the site. If someone really wanted to push it they could, but that doesn’t seem to be the case here, as stated several times now.
Visitor was posting here for over a year, long before this Saturday, and has a different posting style all together. In addition to having a different IP address and a different email, Visitor usually posts on much different topics than OOTB.
I personally completely believe OOTB and that he is not posting under 2 handles, which we don’t want to see happen. In addition, Visitor has plenty of posts one can go back and read that are on a completely different track and topics. They are two different people.
Can we please move on from this accusation, and get back to discussions on economics or investing?
