HI Gundhi,
Send me the link to Ron’s published portfolio and I will do that.
Have a great weekend,
Big Al
Ron Paul’s portfolio was listed at
http://www.economicpolicyjournal.com/2011/06/ron-pauls-stock-portfolio.html
His next disclosure will not be be due earlier than next year, I guess?
Thanks; some 4 stocks I am not familiar with. Always interesting to check out new ones!
Hi David,
Which four stocks?
Big Al
Jet Gold, geopetro, Rugby Mining, Indico Resources.
Jet Gold is a company that we did some work for about ten years ago. It ran out of cash and ended up paying our debt with shares. I do not follow it at all today.
Geopetro is a natural gas company that my friends Marshall Berol and Malcolm Gissen assisted with a private placement. I purchased about $10K of stock through that private placement. My price was about $0.49 and today is trading at $0.365.
Rugby Mining is a company which was started by Yale Simpson of Exeter and Extorre. I have purchased stock in Rugby on two different occasions.
Indico Resources is a company that my friend Gary Freeman is involved in. I purchased shares in it a couple of years ago.
You can get all the information you want by just doing a google search on each one.
Best,
Big Al
Premium Exploration seems to be struggling lately…
Any reasons that can be shared?
Yup, no premium on Premium lately…maybe they should name it Discount Exploration… 🙁
Hi Allen and Sol,
I am still committed to Premium. When and if that changes, I will definitely let you know.
Listen to the recent segments I did on the company.
Best,
Big Al
I try not to be moralistic, but Monsanto?
EEEEUUUUUUUU…
Indeed, monsanto is a horror company.
On the flip side, you can bet your last dollar that it is never going to go belly up — almost a certain gainer since it is controlled by the ruling class.
I also don’t invest in drug dealing even though I could make a lot money with it …
Hi Mark, Rob and Bentnail,
After watching Food Inc., I must say that I agree with you. Gonna reconsider this one during the upcoming weeks.
Best,
Big Al
That’s intelligent Al. Hope you take the right decision. btw Thanks for your very nice radio shows.
Hi Rob,
This is an interesting situation in that the company is performing well, but from a moral standpoint perhaps should not be supported.
I will spend some time today looking at it and then make a decision. Will let you know.
Best,
Big Al
Would like to hear an interview with the CEO or Colorado Resources. Do not think they ever did a podcast.
Hi Michael,
I will put together an interview re: Colorado Resources with Greg McCoach at some point during the upcoming week.
Best,
Big Al
Thanks, Al! I guess most of us will hope that both “portfolios” will have gained substantially, by this time, next year!

Al, if you have Greg McCoach speak about Coloroado Resources, it would be nice to hear his latest thoughts on some of the other companies working up there as well. Some ideas to ask him about would be Smash Minerals, Pacific Ridge Exploration, Aben Resources, Argus Metals, Taku Gold, and Ryan Gold. Thanks!
Hi Michael,
I will try to get hold of Greg later today.
Big Al
Hi Al, Passport Potash (V.PPI) is not on your list. Just curious, you were high on this company a couple of months ago. Do you still hold stock in PPI?
Thanks, Dan
Morning Dan,
I do not own Passport Potash as of this moment. See my comment on this in the section relating to the Weekend Show.
Yes, I still like the company a lot. My sale was the result of a slight negative liquidity situation.
I am planning on repurchasing shortly. Will let you all know three days before I do that.
Best,
Big Al
Thanks Big Al. I listened to your weekend show and found it quite interesting, especially the gold and silver topics.
Big Al! Whatever happened to little NioGold? You were very high on this stock and and owned shares.
Morning Wayne,
We had an option to purchase 50,000 shares of stock in this company at a price of $0.20.
I made the decision that it was not right for me to work with companies that I had options in because it was not really fair to our listeners. I decided to only work with companies that I have actually invested our own money in.
Call me stupid, since the stock is trading today at $0.42. But, you know what? A person has to be able to sleep at night!
It is what it is,
Big Al
One last comment about the options.
We were awarded those options for work that we had done many years ago.
Big Al
Thanks for the reply. I purchased shares at $.19 cents and then doubled my position around $.06 after the 2008 meltdown. Feeling good about the company but which it would get over the $1.00 level someday.
Wayne
Big Al…on November 18 you had an interview with Rod Husband of Majestic Gold. At the time you indicated you did own shares and would provide 3 days notice if you decided to sell. I can’t find any information on the site that indicates you did disperse of your holdings. Should Majestic be on your list?
Al? Can you please let me know with regard to MJS?
Al, can you please advise when you sold your shares in Majestic Gold? I see they are not on the list again.
Wouldn’t it be fun to track the performance of two simplified portfolio “indices”, Congressman Paul’s recently published holdings versus Big Al’s?
