Obama will win only because he’s the lessor of two evils. I’d be voting for Gary Johnson or Ron Paul if I could.

Unfortunately Bob S, those are wasted votes. (Unless you conscience is important to you!)

I dont think obama or romney are wasted votes if your intention is to further entrench facism. Ron Paul or any other vote opposes that, altho, you have a point in that facist/socialism will not be stopped by a vote. That comes later.

Al, is there any way you could interview Doug Casey or Gerald Celente to explain why they figure people should not be voting at all?

            Oct 16, 2012 16:04 AM

Of course, I will call Doug and set up an interview.

I happen to believe that, unless voting is mandatory by law, not voting by staying home is absolute, pure bs – yes, even in a real dictatorship. Not that anyone cares, but I personally won’t give you any right to complain about the action of the next administration if you don’t even bother to try to vote like you intend to. Do what you want, write in one of your neighbor’s cats, complain loudly about voting machines or write PALIN all over one with a lipstick, but DO GO to the polling station(s) and display your opinion or dissatisfaction in some way.

            I completely agree!

    Bobby,
I skimmed that article..my first reaction is What? As in, what do people have to dream up to get published? The Fed can screw around all they want…debt is debt…end of story. I dont understand this guy and it is certainly something that nobody with any substantial “skin in the game” has even tried to explain. Ridiculous…is all I can say. I will let Sprott, Sinclair, and countless others with knowhow and “know with all” continue to take the lead on MACROECONOMICS and fiscal shenanigans.

      Thanks for the feedback, Marc.

Helpful suggestion: Talk sideways past the microphone, so air doesn’t blow rightinto it, thus preventing letter ‘P’ and other consonants from exploding in listener’s ears.

Back on topic, I think we’re going to have an Obama victory. Nobody wants change, especially when money is running out and there is a chance of having social program candy taken away. Also, people don’t like Romney’s geopolitics. The Mormon has already guaranteed that he will take America into another misguided, unaffordable, morally reprehensible war.

    Big Al and all:
According to Eric King’s interview on KWN of “The (SECRET) London Gold Trader: The days of significant corrections are OVER – pull backs, yes. Forget SIGNIFICANT drops from here on out – India cant wait for corrections anymore, China is outpacing them now and the Central Banks are increasing their demand expotentially. Well, well, well…..if true, and I see no reason why NOT…makes perfect sense. Even MORE IMPORTANTLY…the FLOORS of the bottom keep moving up and will continue FOR MANY MONTHS or several more years. Hey, how much is that doggie in the window? A lot more than you can afford UNLESS you have GOLD, SILVER and assorted mining shares! 🙂

Not sure about Eric King’s thoughts, but I do agree that pm’s and the related stocks are a good place to be.
