Ron Paul’s Weekly Column: ‘The Continuing Al-Qaeda Threat’
by Ron Paul
Appearing last week before the Senate Intelligence Committee, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper testified that he could not say the threat from al-Qaeda is any less today than it was ten years ago. It was a shocking admission.
Here comes the PPT……
Notwithstanding the reaction down on the Nikkei, expect the US market to start up and gold to be attacked…..deja vu all over again.
Well that’s what I said yesterday and I assure you CFS I have no ability to modify the outcome of markets. It was just plain obvious. Risk on, risk-off shifting of capital around depending on momentum and mood. When the machines kick into gear they can really move baby. That beautiful pattern on the daily S&P gives me confidence this market is going right back up.
What an abysmal admission
But, Richard, is it really unexpected when the US uses it’s dying power to intervene in so many countries. Sending in drones and killing innocent civilians…..
Do you remember Vietnam? Reports of so many VC killed, US winning etc., on the nightly news; when, in fact, nothing could be further from the truth. The truth eventually came out as the US withdrew in ignominious defeat.
This time it will be harder to withdraw, because we are being hit at home.
Look at …CORN…….GO
NO GMO
RUSSIA to ban GMO
“RUSSIA to ban GMO” ……..really? You have a link to that?
I reported on this a few days ago.
They have not banned GMO yet,
http://rt.com/politics/russia-gmo-foods-ban-567/
Initial tests have shown fertility and cancer risks, in high consumption levels of GMO foods.
I just heard on PBS this morning…….thought it was interesting that this info was aired on Radio and is starting to be news distributed by…(msn), or maybe, PBS is not msn…
one sure way to get healthy………cut out GMO foods………..

CORN CHOWDER with Agent Orange
A cornerstone of any nutritious meal
Agree HH. You called it right in my books yesterday.
Look at sugar go…Birdman
Commodities are it. Its sweet deal. Today anyway
I like corn because its not too volatile and easy to stay long for months.
CHA CHING $$$$$$$$$
If there is a commodities trend arising again after 3 long years of declines we need to consider adjusting portfolios to account for it I think. This may just be the early stages setting up but offers confirmation to the metals bulls that gold and silver will become profitable soon. Commodities tend to move together as a group. Stocks will feel it if there is merit to the idea. The trend is early so plenty of time to be watching more closely for what is coming up from behind. So this suggests a significant shift may be in the works that we need to cotton on too (Ha! could not resist!).
Excellent view….. Birdman…..
You spelled it out ……THE CLASS…. should have no questions.
On to another subject
You think ETF would be the best. ?
Thanks HH. Can’t comment on trading vehicles though. I never do. Everyone’s risk tolerance and goals are different so it is pretty personal. All I will add is that I am looking harder at what may be a turning point in the commodity sector that I think aligns with decisions coming from the Fed with regards to economic reflation and inflation itself. I doubt very much that metals will make a big move with other sectoral participants. Others will surely disagree and say gold can go its own way because it is an alt currency. Meantime, as I mentioned earlier, pull up a chart of long commodity cycles versus stock markets for insight. I can’t get at one now because my connection is terrible or I would post if for you.
Did you tune in to Chris’s interview by the way. He made some excellent commemts on how Janet Yellen will proceed which should be alerting us to a fundamental change of direction for the Fed. That is, from buying assets on the one hand to pushing out inventoried bank reserves on the other. I think he has got that right on the money. No way is this game over yet. Not by a long shot.
HEY BIRDMAN….I HIT UP UP…ON DOC’S FORUM.
CATCH YOU OVER THERE….if you’re around.
peace out !
Compare the spot price of corn $CORN with a diversified agricultural ETF, e.g. JJA,
As usual, you don’t seem to have substance in your comments, HH

CFS……so what…..right now anyone long CORN is making money.
WHATS YOUR POINT…..corn is not undervalued and we should look
the rest of the grain complex in order to make a decision.
AGAIN IF YOUR READING CHARTS UPSIDE DOWN AND ATTACKING
ME. NOW , DOING IT ALL OVER AGAIN….you don’t know what your
talking about.
YOUR JUDGMENT IS MISPLACED….TWICE NOW
BTW…..don’t you ever shut up. Cool off for awhile.
Just as people had to start talking of market/gold manipulation in a “matter of fact” way, people are going to have to start speaking about the leaders of the west as psychopaths. We have to admit the issue before it can be dealt with.
This is another reason the americans will lose the reserve currency.
The rest of the world understands the elite in the west, they have no choice, they have been living/dieing with the understanding now for decades.
Its the west that is still decieved. If people will recall, when the dicission as to vote for Ron Paul was happening, people said his forgn policy was the reason they couldnt vote for him…..madness, the brainwashing runs deep.
CFS, not sure if its hard in the least to withrawl from anywhere, I agree with Ron Paul, its just a matter of..just leave. And as for being hit on home “turf”, I really dont see much of that, if any. If this so called “al caida” wanted, the water supplies across the nations would be poisoned, hand held rockets could be fired by every airport, mustard gas at sporting events, I could think of lots, but its not happening.
If there are any “terrorists” in N.America, there sure are not many.
Remember Boston? 1 guy? Shut down the city, thats gotta tell ya how easy it would be to shut down pretty much the entire economy if these terrorists were real.
We have to remember, these terrorist have the power to outwit security, capture multiple airplanes, evade the most sofisticated air defense on the planet and knock down buildings at will. Thats one heck of an organised group.
Let us pray there are none here, we have seen the result of a dozen of them attacking, imagine a hundred,or a thousand. Heck, that would be armageddon.
It is the old Oceana, Eurasia, Eastasia collectivism supported by constant warfare.

also tells it like it really is.
