    Off Topic: Politics.

Flynn sentencing delayed again until March 13, 2020.

Something very strange going on here.

Prosecutor still recommending no jail time.
Judge Sullivan offered Flynn the chance to withdraw his plea of guilty, but Flynn turned that down.

    Very strange.

      Sharon Michelle snippet…

There are many “events” that are taking place right now in the world. One of these is the cold weather on the way. Spirit indicated that people in the northern regions of the wold need to prepare for a bitterly cold winter. They need to prepare with food, water, a way of creating heat. It is going to get cold folks!

This cold will drop down even to lower latitudes so we all need to be ready. The sun is cooling. By default, the earth is cooling. For the next several years, the winters will get colder and colder. This will effect the food crops and food prices. There will be a trend where people will be migrating farther south in the coming years. Another event that may be close at hand is a serious attempt on president Trumps life. Thankfully he moves out of the way unexpectedly so it narrowly misses him but unfortunately it hits someone behind him. Please pray for protection for president Trump. Spirit indicates that he is the only thing standing in the way of a complete disaster that would be created by the globalists in their attempt to destroy national sovereignty and any remaining “rights” citizens have. Just look at Europe for an example of what most of the western world would look like under their unfettered control. Like him or not, Spirit says losing him would be a disaster at this point.

Flynn: My guess is that because Flynn had been implying that there may have been some entrapment involved in his interviews, the Court was building a record for appeal that Flynn did not want to remove his plea and did want his guilty plea to stand on the merits.

You do realize no trial takes place if the guilty plea stands.
      No new evidence is submitted.
      There is no discovery process.
It is only the judge, who smells something fishy, that is causing some documents to be released.

There is usually only a sentencing hearing.

Did criminal cases for 22,years specializing in murder/capital murder. I realize that if a defendant pleads guilty that he knows whether he committed the crime or not and the information that the State has that is already in his possesdion. If he thought he could beat it, he would try. Newly discovered evidence generally applies to the State as the defendant knows the extent of his criminality and the details of his offense. He didn’t pull his plea because most juries aren’t stupid and sentencing could always be worse if agreement is not reached in advance. No guarantees with a trial.

    Mr. Big Al Korelin,

Did you get your yellow vest yet? How about buying Kathy a yellow vest for Christmas? And give yellow vests to your entire family and all your friends. (You can get big discounts if you buy them in bulk.)

The gilets jaunes are having an effect in France.
11 leading officers in France’s armed forces plus an ex Secretary of Defense are claiming Macron is guilty of treason, because of his signing of the UN Migration Pact.

The Generals clain that is act act of treason to yield control of the French borders for immigration.

          Dec 18, 2018 18:38 PM

Good for them. It’s long past time. The globalist will completely destroy their identity, culture and the whole country if no one stand up to them. Macron and Merkle should be tarred and feathered. And that would just be a start.

And speaking of arrogant elites, the corrupt bureaucrats and politicians in Kookfornia have backed off that new cell phone tax. They are arrogant and clueless regarding how the little people have to live their lives, but even they could figure out there would be hell to pay which is no surprise considering people are glued to their cell phones 24/7.

Do you realize the censorship the EU is going to impose (via vote on Jan. 19, 3019)

    Commission proposal
Anyone using snippets of journalistic online content must first get a license from the publisher. This new right for publishers would apply for 20 years after publication.

The automatic link previews social networks generate when users share links (showing the article headline, a thumbnail picture and a short excerpt) would require a license, as well as anyone analysing news content on the web like news aggregators, media monitoring services and fact checking services.

“The Commission wants to generate income for European publishers by allowing them to charge internet platforms for displaying snippets of their content to users.” Stated targets are Google, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest, who use such snippets in the course of linking to news articles.
It’s real purpose is NOT to create income for publishers, but a backdoor into censorship.
Do you realize EACH URL LINK will be taxed?

      Dec 18, 2018 18:11 PM

      2019 of course, not 3019

        Dec 18, 2018 18:04 PM

Don’t see how that is a ‘backdoor to censorship’…

    Dec 18, 2018 18:00 PM

    EU Commission commentary:

Much of the outrage has been over two parts of the directive: Articles 11 and 13. But their intent, when described by supporters anyway, is pretty benign. Article 11 simply gives publishers the right to ask for paid licenses when their news stories are shared by online platforms, while Article 13 says that online platforms are liable for content uploaded by users that infringes copyright.

Both measures attempt to redress an imbalance at the core of the contemporary web: big platforms like Facebook and Google make huge amounts of money providing access to material made by other people, while those making the content (like music, movies, books, journalism, and more) get an ever-shrinking slice of the pie.

    CFS Commentary:
Control by Central Government or pure censorship.

Hey boys, did you take your oath to Israel???

“A children’s speech pathologist who has worked for the last nine years with developmentally disabled, autistic, and speech-impaired elementary school students in Austin, Texas, has been told that she can no longer work with the public school district, after she refused to sign an oath vowing that she “does not” and “will not” engage in a boycott of Israel”

Personally I think he’ll be wrong on the interest rate pause.

    Dec 19, 2018 19:03 AM

I’d love it if the FED INCREASED BY AN 1/8; and reduced their withdrawals from 50MM TO 25 MM. THAT WOULD MAKE GREAT THEATER!
