Thoughts on a wide range of markets moving higher and cannabis stocks leverage to US markets

July 10, 2019

Sean Brodrick joins me for a general discussion about the environment where a wide range of markets are moving up and breaking out. As long as central banks remain commutative for the short term these trends could very well continue. We also look at the cannabis sector and address why these stocks provide leverage (right now) on the overall markets.

Just remember when Harris talks about reparation or slavery that her very Grandmother was a SLAVE OWNER in Jamaica, and that while she does have slaves in her ancestoral heritage, her direct ancestor line does not (as far as is known….Jamaica records are not perfect.)

There exists so-called “cryptocurrencies” that are really just alternative fiat currencies tied to gold.
Gold-money runs an effective gold/silver/platinum fiat scheme.

David Morgan is associated with a gold/silver cryptocurrency in development. people have also discussed similar “cryptos”

All such currencies, however, in my opinion, are nothing but alternative fiat currencies.

Basically as soon as one ties the value of a currency to a precious metal, it ceases, de facto, from being a valid cryptocurrency, even if it is draped in the mask of being such and uses some related encryption techniques.

Somehow I find it difficult to believe governments will allow private individuals take over creation of currencies used to any significant extent in replacing a national currency. I can see them being used for international low-level transactions, but once they inpinge on national banking profits, there will be trouble.

It is all going to be screwed up…….basic, be your own bank… the real theme…..

I have no degrees in economics, nor am I a member of the Federal Reserve Open Market Committee, but it seems to me that a pure fiat currency is a method by which a government can hide its irresponsibility in governing; a method by which it can cheat its citizens by hidden taxation, namely inflation.
As long as we have “professional politicians” who enrich themselves while supposedly in public service, we will be ruled by liars and cheats who will never go back to real money and forever be destined to suffer the ravages of inflation, by which the common man is robbed of the ability to make long-term meaningful savings.
We need term limits for Congress-critters, a drained swamp and a return to the Constitution.

300,000 new green cards to Indians.

100 Republicans voting with democrats to pass in House, shows clear need for swamp-draining and term limits.

    OFF TOPIC and then some.

Vanuatu is an interesting country in that you can buy a second passport for about $130,000 legally.
Since Vanuatu was initially colonized jointly by France and England, a Vanuatu passport permits travel to many countries without visa requirements, or e.g. visa on arrival applications for any European country.

China’s behavior is certainly worrisome for ex-Chinese nationals.

I was in Vanuatu earlier this year and although Chinese presence is evident, as it is in New Zealand and Australia, Chinese presence has not been dominant hitherto.

The BBC is reporting that all British ships passing through the Persian Gulf will be receiving Destroyer escorts.

They claim the Iranian attack on a British tanker was thwarted by a British Destroyer escort.
