Cory
November 14, 2022

Richard Postma, AKA Doc, joins us for a mid-month conversation focused on the pop in gold, silver and underlying stocks. After a $150 move in gold and over $2.50 move in silver just this month has us asking Doc if this bear market is truly over. We focus on the monthly charts. Doc points out the low volume on GDX and the formation of this price pop. Doc is looking to January for a better outlook into next year.

Trading halt on GASX followed by announcement of placement of shares for $.73/share with a warrant at about 20% discount to market..nice. The CEO said those people had been working very hard.

Also a trading halt on IAU. What’s going on there?

I am looking forward to seeing what Santacruz Silver’s financial results will look like for the third quarter which will probably be released by the latter half of this month, this company is showing a strong production increase for the third quarter over the second quarter and their second quarter production numbers were way up. Today, Lead was up 3.14%, Zinc 3.09%, and silver 1.57%. Cheers! DT

I think the SCZ Q3 results should be good DT, but still run the risk of underwhelming because of all the market expectations. Personally I’m more interested to see how Q4 of this year and Q1 of 2023 go, when they really are running on all cylinders, and so we get more a average of how all the new mines and mills in Bolivia are doing in concert with the Zimapan mine in Mexico for aggregate company performance. After Q1 of next year the operations teams and management teams overseeing them will have acclimated more to the expanded company asset and operations base.
