Cory
November 14, 2022

Ed Moya, Senior Market Analyst at OANDA joins us for a discussion on the cryptocurrency space with a focus on the FTX crash and bankruptcy. We discuss the possible contagion into other markets and further into the Bitcoin price as well as if price still has  along way to fall. There’s still a lot unknown about how this will all play out but it’s not looking good for cryptos.

We also look at the pop in US market and precious metals. What are the next catalysts and will these higher prices reverse to continue the bear market.

Wall Street on Parade has a lead article entitled “Big Law Firm, Sullivan & Cromwell, Did Significant Legal Work for Bankrupt Crypto Exchange, FTX” A couple of interesting “names” dropped in the article are first FTX replacement CEO is John J Ray, a lawyer at Greylock Partners LLC, who previously oversaw the liquidation at Enron. Also: The General Counsel of the FTX.US, the exchange serving customers in the US, is a former Sullivan & Cromwell partner, Ryne Miller, who had co-chaired the law firm’s commodities, futures and derivatives group and worked at the law firm for eight years after previously serving as legal counsel to the CURRENT SEC CHAIR GARY GENSLER when he was the CHAIRMAN OF THE CFTC.
Think about all this. This criminal FTX is infiltrated by Wall Street Defense Attorneys and former legal advisors to Regulators. ARRRGHHH
