Brandon MacDonald, CEO of Fireweed Metals (TSX.V:FWZ – OTCQB:FWEDF) joins me to recap a few recent news releases reporting drill results and exploration plans at the McMillan Pass Project in the Yukon.

Brandon and I begin with the July 26th news release which reported the first 3 drill holes of this year’s large drill program. These holes were focused at the gap area between the Boundary Main and Boundary West Zones. We recap the results, what they mean for connecting the two zones, the size of mineralization found to date and where follow up drilling will occur.

We then shift focus to the July 5th news release which reported the start of a gold exploration program using Snowline Gold as a guild for targeting. To wrap up we discuss the $16.8million financing announced on August 10th, that includes existing shareholders the Lundin Family, Larry Childress and others.
