First Nordic Metals – The Pro-forma Company After The Barsele Merger with Gold Line, With Multiple Exploration Targets To Grow Current Resources In Sweden And Finland

I am joined by Taj Singh, President and CEO, and Adam Cegielski, Chief Development Officer of First Nordic Metals (TSX.V: FNM) (OTCQB: FNMCF), to introduce the new pro-forma Company.  We review how the Barsele / Gold Line merger came together last month, to create a combined company with a leading gold portfolio; underpinned by the advanced stage Barsele Gold Project and one of the largest consolidated gold exploration portfolios in Scandinavia, both in Sweden and in Finland.

The flagship of the portfolio is the 2.4 Moz Au Barsele Gold Project (NI-43101, all categories), in a JV with Agnico Eagle Mines Ltd.; and the 100% ownership of 100 km of strike along the Gold Line Belt surrounding Barsele Project.  There are multiple exploration targets already identified, that have had significant work in the past, and a high potential for new discoveries.  The Company holds a 100,000-hectare district-scale position in Sweden covering almost the entire Gold Line belt and a significant portion of the Skellefte VMS (volcanogenic massive sulphide) belt and covering a +100km belt position of regional first-order structural corridors.

We discuss how this area of Sweden is a great mining jurisdiction, with proximity to multiple active mines, and just a few kilometers from a recently permitted gold mine.  Adam also points out that the government has been making many positive changes to advance mineral exploration, development, and production in Sweden.  Taj and Adam highlight the potential for drilling at depth at the Barsele Gold Project, as well as a number of targets regionally around the main resource area.  Additionally they review other prospective exploration targets, that have seen prior work, along the broader mineralized Gold Line Belt.

We have both Taj and Adam outline their backgrounds in the mining industry as well as other members of the board and management team, highlighting a technically focused and capital markets driven executive team, with decades of natural resources and mining experience. Wrapping up we get into the capital structure, key stakeholders, and financial setup of the company.

Much appreciated Lakedweller2. Yes, we’ve had Taj on the show over the years from Discovery Silver, to NOA Lithium, and now with First Nordic Metals.

Then when I was at the MIF in Vancouver in January, I met Adam, and we had a few good conversations when they were in Gold Line and thinking it would make sense eventually to talk with Barsele about combining the assets into a single company. I didn’t expect it to happen as fast as it did afterwards though. As the guys stated in this interview, it just made sense to combine both companies under 1 roof.

Also, our buddy The Hedgeless Horseman has mentioned his interest in First Nordic, and so it seemed like a good time to get them on the KE Report to introduce the new combined company.

Yours and Cory’s contacts are paying off for the rest of us. Thanks for that extra insight from the Conference.
It just hit me that I remember Taj from Discovery Silver interviews and didn’t put it together. That’s interesting.

I was trying to remember what brought me to First Nordic and It had to be HH ‘s comments on I have District already which is also Swedish and that probably led me to HH comments on Swedish stocks in general. I think around May 15th, Sweden is supposed to act on getting the uranium law changed by initiating a study or some other official act to reopen the uranium mining issue.. Getting close.

Thanks Lakedweller2 for that additional feedback on First Nordic Metals and H.H.

Yes, Cory and I try to network with many different groups and hit up a few conferences to meet folks face to face and build connections. I’ll be off to another Critical Minerals conference early next week, continuing to look for interesting companies and guests to bring on the show. Cheers!
