There’s growing appreciation that the gold and silver bull has returned, though the reasons justifying it may not be apparent. But this week’s price action is an important turning point.
There are important factors in the background driving the relationship between monetary metals, the dollar, and the other major G7 currencies. These include geopolitics: This week saw plans advancing for a non-dollar (and G7) currency area incorporating the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, BRICS, and those nations in the queue to join, representing 70% of the world’s population.
Additionally, there is a developing G7 bond crisis as the debt bubble hits the buffers. And technical analysis tells us that gold and silver prices are going potentially far higher.
Gold and silver appear to be front-running major changes in the relationship between G7 currencies and the consequences of these tectonic shifts. It is in this context that this week’s performance should be read. …

China bought over 2 tonnes of gold in August, but is now changing to buy relatively more silver.
I expect silver to yet double in price this year, physical gets less easily sourced.
Silver has to break that LONG TERM CUP AND HANDLE . at $49…. then it is a NEW BALL GAME
Holter (aka, the new Mr. Gold) says, “The vast majority of wealth will seek a safe haven that cannot evaporate or be taken away. It’s going to be gold and silver.”
“You are going to see a bull market in gold and silver unlike any bull market in any field ever. . .. Gold and silver will make financial history because capital from all over the world will be trying to get off the railroad tracks because gold and silver cannot default.”
In closing, Mr. Gold says if you just divide the amount of official gold held in the US Treasury by the official US government debt, you get about $135,000 per ounce gold price and around $6,700 per ounce silver price.

It’s the dollar -> “0” that worries me and most others.
We still have to have currency for trade and commerce, which will always slow change in real prices.
But governments run via debt, and ALWAYS choose to devalue debt, by devaluing currency.
Trump’s tariffs “taxation” will pause inflation and then seriously accelerate it………as people finally realize tariffs are sneaky taxation instead of direct taxation.
Inflation and increasing debt keeps Americans on their toes constantly chasing $s just to stay even. Keeps the economy vibrant. What a boring place it would be withoit that policy. What’s a person gonna do without it..sit around and read the Bible all day?

Florida Congressman Randy Fine plans to introduce a bill holding judges liable for crimes committed by violent offenders they release. The proposal follows the horrific August 22 stabbing murder of 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska on Charlotte’s Lynx Blue Line train.
Zarutska fled Ukraine after Russia’s 2022 invasion, seeking safety in the U.S. before her random killing. Suspect Decarlos Brown Jr., 35, faces first-degree murder charges and has a criminal record spanning over a decade.
This bill seems to me to be unconstitutional, even though the judges and prosecutors who release dangerous criminals are also clearly wrong.

Chaos has descended on Nepal amid raging mass protests against a short-lived ban on social media, and accusations of widespread government corruption. The small Himalayan country has descended into hellish conditions in less than a mere 48 hours of raging anti-government demonstrations.
The protests appear mostly led by the young, after several popular social media sites were blocked and clashes with police led to authorities firing on crowds, resulting in 19 people dead.

A theory making the rounds on X yesterday suggested that Charlie Kirk may have been targeted by Israel.
It all started with a resurfaced tweet from Harrison Smith, host of American Journal on InfoWars, posted about a month ago. In it, Smith claimed he’d heard that “Kirk was afraid he’d be killed if he turned on Israel.”
Since then, people have dug up examples of Israeli (or Israeli-aligned) media attacking Kirk for “giving a voice to anti-Israel voices” on his show, along with a recent segment where he and Megyn Kelly discussed Epstein being a Mossad agent.
The speculation only grew after Benjamin Netanyahu posted about Kirk immediately following the shooting — and then again after Kirk was pronounced dead.

The FBI and other law enforcement agencies are zeroing in on the suspected killer of Charlie Kirk.
They tracked the suspect to the building he used to take his shot. They have him jumping off the building and running to the neighborhood. They also have footwear prints and palm prints.
Leaflets drooped and handed out, covering every neighborhood of Gaza City, warned:
“The IDF is determined to defeat Hamas and will operate in the Gaza City area with great force, as it has operated throughout the Gaza Strip. For your safety, evacuate immediately via the Al-Rashid corridor to the humanitarian area in Al-Mawasi. Remaining in the area is very dangerous.”

It appears to me that the ultimate goal of the Israelis is to eliminate many sniper’s locations in Gaza.

President Donald Trump has asked the European Union to slap tariffs of up to 100% on certain Chinese and Indian goods in a bid to increase economic pressure on Moscow to end its war in Ukraine, European officials confirmed Wednesday.
The extraordinary request was made Tuesday when Trump dialed into a meeting of senior U.S. and EU sanctions officials in Washington, according to two EU officials familiar with the discussion. At one point, Trump proposed a 50% tariff on China and India, before suggesting duties as high as 100%, they said.
The White House did not immediately comment. The EU, however, is not expected to follow through on such sweeping trade restrictions. One EU official noted the bloc “doesn’t use tariffs as sanctions” and is instead preparing a 19th sanctions package against Russia. Trump’s push comes as Washington seeks to curtail India’s purchases of discounted Russian oil and China’s broader support for Russia’s economy. The U.S. has already raised tariffs on Indian goods, taking some import duties as high as 50%. India denounced the move as “unfair, unjustified and unreasonable,” even as its trade with Russia surged to nearly $69 billion in the year ending March 2025–up nearly sixfold since before the pandemic.

I agree. I was worried by the fact there was no rifle observable when he jumped off the roof.

Certainly, the photo I saw showed a clean (looking brand new) rifle near a box in the woods.

I don’t know. The fact that he was turned in by relatives after possibly admitting he did it kind of changes things.
It is, of course, possible that he was part of a conspiracy, but it is beginning to look like he made the kill shot.
I don’t think he disassembled and then reassembled the rifle, but tossed it off the roof and picked it back up. The video did not track him all the time.
The F.B.I. did not mention it, but I believe part of the tracking was by phone location technology.

The photos of Tyler Robinson, Kirk killer suspect, in my opinion, do not even match the entrances, long-distance, video of the shooter jumping off the roof. The shape of Robinson’s head appears longer to me.

I tend to agree CFS… Robinson is not the guy they showed pictures of… but the picture quality is poor enough that lots of people could be considered a match.
Having looked at some better enhanced video……
1. It looks like Robinson pulled the rifle off the roof just as he dropped.
(Rifle hitting ground butt-first)
2. The photo of the rifle in the woods looks as if the scope has been moved back out of alignment by the drop off the roof.
3. Robinson was arrested wearing the identical converse shoes, even though he had changed shirt and pants.
So I’m now thinking Robinson is the shooter.
