There is a problem with a group of (richer than average people) grouping together, obeying their own rules and laws, Especially if those rules and laws are in conflict with the rules and laws of the country in which they are residing.
This is the problem the West is now seeing with Muslims, in many countries.

Religion and domestic laws have perpetually been in conflict, unless and until the predominant religion is the sole religion.
There is an argument to be made that most wars are either Wars of Conquest for money (raw resources) or Wars of Religion. E.g. English Civil War (Roundheads vs Royalists) was clearly a war of religion – Roman Catholicism vs Protestantism.

I could not see from the video how the “phone gun” shot Kirk.
I can relate what is being talked about on inner GOP circles……..
Supposedly Charlie Kirk was wearing light body armor under his shirt.
(The kind of body armor that would stop a pistol shot)
But supposedly it was a high-power rifle shot, that entered center of mass, after penetrating protection, with the bullet bouncing off a rib and exiting at the neck.
(Supposedly damaging the carotid artery on route.)
It annoys me.
No search for the bullet has been made.

Unbelievable… the bullet would be critical evidence to match with the suspect’s gun… autopsy with evidence of bullet entry point and shot trajectory would also be useful…
After hearing other analysis and reviewing clear video from the front, my current opinion, like yours, is that the rifle bullet entered the chest and deflected by bone exited the neck… Cell phone gun story very doubtful.
