It was another great week at the New Orleans Investment Conference. I found a couple new stories that I am interested in and will be featuring on the show in the coming weeks.

The first hour of this week’s show was recorded all live from the floor of the conference. We also have a special small round table in segments 2 and 3 with two of my favorite speakers at the show Peter Boockvar and Rick Rule. We discuss economic conditions and then dive into sectors of the resource industry that they are watching. I hope you all enjoy!

As always please email me directly with any companies, guests, or topics you would like to see on our show! I can be reached at Fleck@kereport.com.

  • Segment 1: Peter Boockvar kicks off our show with a recap of his keynote speech at the conference. He discusses how the narrative for 2018 will be focused on central banks around the world taking away their easy money policies.
  • Segment 2 and 3: An all-star group discussion with Rick Rule and Peter Boockvar. We look at global economic conditions and which resources they each think are good investments moving forward.
  • Segment 4: Byron King wraps up the first hour with a discussion on the uranium market.
  • Segment 5 and 6: Well known author and Professor at George Mason University Frank Buckley discusses aspects of the Trump administration.
  • Segment 7: Ken Abramowitz discusses the Tax Plan Healthcare and related topics.
  • Segment 8: We wrap up KER Politics with Hunter Lewis author and fund manager.

Seg.6: I agree with Frank Buckley, and not with R. Moriarty, that Iran is a dangerous enemy.(Not that they will overtly attack the US) I do believe they are sponsors of terrorist acts; mostly against Israel and indirectly against the US.
Unproven, but it would not surprise me if Iran gained technology from Pakistan and passed it on to N. Korea.

      Oct 28, 2017 28:46 AM

      I agree, CFS.
The USA refuses to admit it, but Iran vs. Saudi Arabia is a religious war, the same as the Protestants vs the Catholics of medieval Europe. However, Ron Paul has a point that the US needs to stop the covert meddling in other countries’ politics by black ops programs.

        Oct 28, 2017 28:22 AM

I would respectfully disagree. I would love someone to list all the terrorist acts carried out by Iran and the shiite community. They would not hold a candle to the terrorism sponsored by the West, Saudi Arabia and Israel. Just an example or 2. Who sponsored the Mujahideen and Osama bin laden originally. They eventually split off into Al qaeda, the muslim brotherhood, and the taliban. Who sponsored the chechen terrorism activity in Russia in the past? Who armed and supported Issis, al qaeda and other terrorist activity against Syria? The common elements in the answer usually find Saudi Arabia, Israel and the U.S. (the west) as the protagonists. I’m on a roll now and will ask who was involved in the attack on the trade center? I could go on and on but the last time I looked, I have not seen Iran as a major exporter of terrorism especially internationally. They’re only looking out for their own interests in the middle east. In fact; from what sect do almost all the acts of terrorism internationally emanate from. Too many Americans have naively fallen for the propaganda that Iran is this major exporter of terrorism when the facts fall in a huge crescendo over the fence in a different direction.

          Finally DOC……..you have come out of your shell…….love it……. best…… OOTB. 🙂

            Oct 28, 2017 28:03 AM

Thanks, Jerry. Every once in awhile I will opine strongly. Of course, my wife hears it all the time. One of the greatest terrorist organizations geopolitically,, financially, and militarily has been the country on whose soil I plant my feet along with the rest of what is considered the “west”. Actually, it’s not the country but the government that is not controlled by the American people.

            Oct 28, 2017 28:09 AM

            Thank You Doc!
With that being said, Don’t let them fool you into believing there is any such thing as a moderate Muslim. Anybody who follows the Quran will never be “Moderate”
Those who accept marrying a 9 year old girl and consummating the marriage is seriously wacked in the head.

JohnK; you’re very correct. A “literalist” as regards Islam cannot be a “moderate” just as a “literalist” Christian cannot be a moderate in their faith. Then all you are is a “religious” person and might as well be a secularist since your belief is “lukewarm” and very tenuous.

Most of the states in the U.S. have 16 yo as the age of consent.
A minor or child (pedophilia standard in the U.S.?),

the Talmud blatantly states that sex with 3 year olds is fine and dandy.

If ya follow the christian books, slavery is oky doky.

Another point, the moderats were the guys the U.S. is supporting in Syria.

            Alice in Wonderland. lol

            b:
Nowhere does the Bible condone slavery, but it recognizes its existence.

            Oct 28, 2017 28:19 AM

Paul Regularly Used the Old Testament as the Authority for His Teaching

The Apostle Paul met Timothy during his second missionary journey and he became Paul’s companion and co-worker along with Silas.
The New Testament indicates that Timothy traveled with Saint Paul, who was also his mentor. … He is addressed as the recipient of the First and Second Epistles to Timothy.

You would think that Jesus and the New Testament would have a different view of slavery, but slavery is still approved of in the New Testament, as the following passages show.

Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ. (Ephesians 6:5 NLT)

Christians who are slaves should give their masters full respect so that the name of God and his teaching will not be shamed. If your master is a Christian, that is no excuse for being disrespectful. You should work all the harder because you are helping another believer by your efforts. Teach these truths, Timothy,
and encourage everyone to obey them. (1 Timothy 6:1-2 NLT)

In the following parable, Jesus clearly approves of beating slaves even if they didn’t know they were doing anything wrong.

The servant will be severely punished, for though he knew his duty, he refused to do it. “But people who are not aware that they are doing wrong will be punished only lightly. Much is required from those to whom much is given, and much more is required from those to whom much more is given.” (Luke 12:47-48 NLT)
(maybe hes talking about god punishing?)

I think its a stretch to say the Christians books dont approve of slavery.

Maybe it depends on the translation or which bible you read, there are many.
Maybe reading prior or later passages matter.

            Couple more points,

            – Slaves are not supposed to stay in the master’s house forever (John 8:35)
            – Being a slave has no bearing on salvation or the spiritual state of a person before God (1 Corinthians 12:13; Galatians 3:28)
            – Slaves are to respect the world’s system of authority while knowing that God is the only true authority (Ephesians 6:5-8; Colossians 3:22-24)
            – Masters are also to keep in mind that their position in Christ is no different from that of their slaves; they themselves are slaves to God (Ephesians 6:9)
            hmmmm…. slaves to god

Slavery moves (at least thru Paul) from the old testament to the new.

Well, maybe its the translation, there are errors and an attempt to change slave to “bond servant” etc

Last time we talked about my comment of slavery in the christian books I found miss translations concerning that too.

Really, no offence to anyone, I just dont understand how people dont see it.

            Oct 28, 2017 28:40 PM

If you are going to sight Ephesians , read everything after 6:9……..and see what Paul message truly was…………………..Eph. 6:19…..is a clue

            Oct 28, 2017 28:41 PM

            Oct 28, 2017 28:47 PM

Explaining what Paul was writing one might read Eph. 6:12, …for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, ……but, against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

            Oct 28, 2017 28:59 PM

Galatians 5:3…Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

            Oct 28, 2017 28:32 PM

            Amen, Jerry

            Oct 28, 2017 28:06 PM

Romans 12:2…..Be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of you mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

            Oct 28, 2017 28:31 PM

Jerry, at this period of my life, I try very hard to live by that and other messages in the Bible.

One point I would like to make is Iran could easily develop a hydrogen bomb and build a delivery system on an ICBM that would take it anywhere but they have one big deterrent, that being Israel. Israel would finish off the Persians instantly if they found out Iran had built even one thermo nuclear device. Israel would obliterate Iran in a nano second if they found that they were getting ready to test detonate a nuclear bomb. DT

            Oct 28, 2017 28:30 AM

I’m not convinced that if Iran had developed the bomb first they would view Israel any differently. Israel however had The US and Pollard and they gained the advantage over Iran.

Yay Doc! Good hear some truths that are rarely spoken in the West. Of course Iran has it’s share of junk and has its enemies. Check out the link below when the ‘hated’ Ahmadinejad met with the Orthodox Jewish community in New York in 2009. Not only did the rabbis bless Ahmadinejad they presented him a gift and thanked him for his generous treatment to Jews in Iran. The Orthodox make a clear distinction between Judaism and Zionism and strongly oppose the latter.

There are lots of Israelis that oppose Zionism.
They are in the same position as americans that oppose the federal reserve.
            What can they do?

            Oct 28, 2017 28:54 AM

This, yet again, brought tears to my eyes terra.
In my opinion, Orthodox Jews are some of the greatest people in the world and some Zionists do leave something to be desired.

          Oct 28, 2017 28:18 AM

Richard/Doc, ever hear of the thousands of rockets fired daily into the country of Israel by Hezbollah and other terrorists?

          Oct 28, 2017 28:09 AM

My comment below agreeing with jhpace1 pretty much stands. I feel strongly that the present Iranian government is dangerous. This has nothing to do with sponsoring terrorism or what have you. Of course the U.S. has played a role in this. Regarding Israel, it is a well known fact that in a war zone (and I believe that the entire Middle East is and has been a war zone for a long time) a very effective means of defense is to cause havoc and instability among you enemy. Israel has done that very effectively there is no doubt about that. So on this point Bob M is correct. Are many of the Saudi Arabian wealthy funding terrorism. My sources tell me that is definitely the case.

Regarding the Iranian govt., if one were to say that it did not feel that it was in a definite warlike setting, I believe that those folks would be incorrect. All the members of the govt have to do is look at the actions of folks like us and yes the Israelis and the Saudi’s.

Could the U.S.; Israel; and, other perceived enemies change? Well of course they could.

I short, I think that the actions of the Iranian govt. are actually quite normal given the environment. Is it comprised of a group of really bad people or a group of defense minded people? I think that everyone needs to ask themselves that question.

Possible a debate could go round and round on the subject.

To me tho, its clear christianity, old testament or new, condones slavery.

Thats my story and Im sticken to it.

            Oct 29, 2017 29:42 AM

Me too………… I am sticking to my store,,also.

            Oct 29, 2017 29:06 PM

The New Testament further gives us a paradigm to interpret Old Testament practices. In one of their notorious fault-finding missions, the Pharisees test Jesus on the subject of divorce (Matthew 19:1-9; Mark 10:2-9). He initially appears to play into their hands, asking what Mosaic Law has to say on the subject. When they gleefully quote the permission of Moses to divorce one’s wife, Jesus lays down a method of interpretation that has to be taken very seriously. He makes it clear that certain Old Testament commandments were to be understood as concessions to the hardness of the human heart rather than as expressions of God’s holy character. He goes on to reference how this was not the state of affairs in the beginning—that is, before the fall.
The regulation of slavery should therefore be seen as a practical step to deal with the realities of the day resulting from human fall. The aberrations that lead to alienation among individuals, races, and nations are the result of a fundamental broken relationship between humankind and God. Within this tragic scenario, Scripture comes as a breath of fresh air as it seeks to redeem the situation and sets us on a path of ever-increasing amelioration of our predicament. While the Bible does not reject slavery outright, the conclusion that it actually favours slavery is patently wrong. Scripture does reveal that slavery is not ideal, both in Old Testament laws forbidding the enslavement of fellow Israelites, the law of jubilee, and in New Testament applications of Christ. In fact, the Bible teaches that the feeling of superiority in general is sin (Philippians 2:1-8)! The abolition of slavery is thus not only permissible by biblical standards, but demanded by biblical principles. The pre-fall statement that should guide and ultimately abolish such (and any) practices of superiority is the declaration that all humans—men and women—are made in the image of God.

Doc, I understand your position and don’t disagree except……

Can you guarantee Iran will never use a nuke against Israel?
Can you guarantee ANY country using a nuke against Israel will not cause the US to get involved?

I believe it is ultimate stupidity to aid a potential enemy to acquire nuclear weapons. (Regardless of their current state)
I understand why the US could be considered a terrorist state.
(I believe that is a consequence of the US taking the role as world policeman, albeit rather clumsily)
I understand why N. Korea and Iran would desire nuclear weapons to reduce the possibility of attack by the US.
I maintain, however, it is utter stupidity to help future potential enemies acquire weaponry.

        Oct 28, 2017 28:48 AM

Lots of good points, everyone. KER is a welcome bit of sanity.

CFS, on what do you base your opinion that “Iran is a dangerous enemy” to the US? What aggressive acts have they committed against the US?

The ones I am aware of, the hostage crises of 1980, and I have seen it argued they were actually guilty of the Lockerbie bombing.

Of course, aggression from the US toward Iran would include the 1953 CIA-fomented coup that put the Shah in power for a brutal 25-year dictatorship; the Iraq-Iran war of the 1980s; long-term economic warfare; and constant threats of violence (‘bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran’ to the Beach Boys tune!!!).

        GH
        Oct 28, 2017 28:51 AM

Specifically, I believe it was William Blum who has suggested that it was not Libya, but Iran, responsible for the ‘Lockerbie bombing’ of Pan Am 103 on Dec 21 1988, in retaliation for the US shooting down Iran Air Flight 655 on July 3, 1988.

          Oct 28, 2017 28:19 AM

Sure, there are. The larger point still being, however, that painting Iran as a dire enemy of the US seems to have little basis in fact, unless there are some significant facts of which I’m unaware.

        CFS
        Oct 30, 2017 30:29 AM

        GH,See just above.

It is not that Iran is currently a dangerous enemy of the US.
It is more than I can foresee a time when they may be.
One needs to think 3-D chess, not 2-D checkers.
One should include all possible “what ifs” along with probabilities, and not be working with blindfolds.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. My opinion after having Trita Parsi on the Show is I am pretty much on your side. My opinion is definitely not meant to besmirch the Iranian people but I do not trust the government and many of my Persian friends feel exactly the same way.

she KNOWS she’s guilty, and is simply attacking Trump every which way she can to distract attention from her crookedness. Then, of course, she will claim innocence and say Trump is being vindictive because she claimed he cheated with the election.
The public KNOWS, however, she is the real crook. She got rich via pay-for-play.
She cheated Haiti out of millions of dollars of aid. She sold the US out by the Uranium sales to Russia. Seg. 8: I have looked at the real estate “bubble” and I partly disagree. Obviously prices are high, because interest rates are low, but I’m not sure demand will drop significantly even if interest rates drop. (It will be more that fewer people can afford higher prices and quantity of sales may drop, but prices only drop for those people forced into selling houses. Is that really a bubble? For those able to lock in low interest rates it may be that they will be locked into house location, unable to move easily, rather than have housing prices drop much.
I am not sure the same applies to stocks, which currently are up strongly because interest rates are low. If bond rates start again to give a reasonable return, money will flow back out of the stock market.

        Morning Markedtofuture,

The majority of our Book Club yesterday was devoted not to the book that we are reading but to the events of the psst week regarding the Clinton’s. Keep in mind that we are definitely not a group of “wild eyed conspiracy theory guys. We are a group of intelligent and well informed people. We all agree that Hillary Clinton does not look good at this point. But, here is the really scary point: The portion of the American people that fall into our demographic are definitely the huge minority. The rest of the people are lazy; ill informed; and, much more concerned about putting food on the table. Consequently they simply don’t care about all the dishonesty going on and they will believe the tripe being fed to them by the opposition.

        Oct 28, 2017 28:56 AM

Leaked to CNN, that is bullshit.

      jhpace1,

It is rather amazing to me how that entire theatrical play worked out. It does illustrate, at least to me, just how the “penny stock game’ played out on a very large stage. Simple promotion with alleged significant help from the Clinton’s who apparently did make a lot of money. No different from a lot of the promotional scams that I have seen over the years. i feel really good about not taking part in them, but I can tell you I did leave a lot of money on the table.

The One Paragraph You Need To Read From The JFK Assassination Files That May Change Everything

…the “Surgeon General’s Report” on the assassination stated that the first bullet entered the President’s throat below the adams apple, clearly showing that two persons were involved with the first shot being fired from the bridge across the park way in front of the car.

To further substantiate this, POTITO said there was a bullet hole in the wind shield of the President’s car…Not exactly the narrative that was sold to the world – and certainly not the narrative that J. Edgar Hoover proclaimed must be defended to the world.

CIA & FBI Still Stalling on JFK Documents – Why?

The CIA and FBI have had 50 years to go over these documents. Nevertheless, they waited to the last day to object. That tactic was deliberate to push Trump into a corner. He gave them six months to review. Many of the documents listed as “classified” are not even legible, raising more concerns that these have been deliberately altered to protect someone or something.

At this point, no matter what they release, still 60%+ of American will just not believe them. After 50 years has gone by, claims that there is still a danger to “survivors” is an absolute joke. The files released also show intense defense by both the CIA and FBI to claim they had nothing to do with anything. That simply brings to mind Shakespeare. Hamlet then turns to his mother and asks her, “Madam, how like you this play?”, to which she replies “The lady doth protest too much, methinks.” Indeed, the CIA and FBI seem to protest too much asserting their innocence in this affair while holding back evidence from the public.

It is also clear from documents that the CIA questioned the official storyline of the assassination in the years followed. An unnamed CIA author noted in a 1975 memo that the agency, the FBI and the Warren Commission failed to investigate key clues into the assassin Lee Harvey Oswald’s ties to Cuba.

Then we have FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover who in a memo dated Nov. 24, 1963, the same day that Oswald was killed by a questionable retribution of Jack Ruby, expressed concern that Oswald’s death would result in uncertainty among U.S. citizens over his guilt.

“The thing I am concerned about, and so is [Deputy Attorney General Nicholas] Katzenbach, is having something issued so that we can convince the public that Oswald is the real assassin,”

        Hoover wrote.

At this point, there have been way too many delays and the only reason for that is to protect something or someone. If it were Oswald alone, then why hide documents?

Thanks for bringing this up Markedtofuture. JFK’s assassination was a huge black mark on America for a number of reasons not the least of which is the potential involvement of some rally bad guys.

I never looked into the JFK assassination until the 50th anniversary. But once you understand how it fits into the big picture of TRUE history, it’s incredibly fascinating and key to understanding what is going on today.

This one by Clifford Shack delves into some deep history that connects the killing of the Kennedies back to their father, and connects it to the ‘East Coast Establishment (seems Northeast to me)’, at least some of the families of which made their fortunes in slaves, rum, tobacco, and opium. How many?

Very interesting in light of rising racial tension and politicization of race, given much of the deep state orchestrating the current circus likely has fortunes originally based in slavery, the products of slavery, and enslaving people to opium.

Thank you GH, I will definitely read this. I will say that I have heard many things about the Kennedy’s. Since I am very concerted about current events at this moment in time, I am, perhaps erroneously, much more concerned about the Clintons. It will be interesting to see if my concerns are warranted.

In light of the fact that some of the top US and English families were opium pushers in China 150 years ago, it’s interesting that synthetic opitates fentanyl (100x stronger than morphine) and carfentanyl (10,000 x morphine) are arriving from China and killing people.

The Clintons are the logical place to start, given their glaring, easily proveable criminality. How many do they have the dirt on? They really ought to be put into protective custody by some trustworthy party (who???) NOW.

Following the drug angle a few steps further.

Consider Meyer Lansky, who I believe was bringing opium/heroin in through Cuba. Vietnam, which allowed control of the Golden Triangle, or the Afghanistan war, which restored poppy production there.

Consider today’s US opioid epidemic. As I understand it, there are pharmacies in the middle of nowhere receiving huge shipments that could not possibly be legitimate.

I have been told by people who work with recovering addicts in South America that the same thing happens here. Further, I’ve been told that street crime, which is rampant, is typically committed under the influence of pharmaceutical pills like diazepam (valium) and all kinds of related drugs.

Might that be the case with crime in the US as well? If it is, consider–that is good for the for-profit prisons, law enforcement, that whole system.

It’s not like these pharmaceuticals can be manufactured just anywhere. Who is making them? Who is letting them through? Might these old money drug families be involved? Who owns the criminal pharmaceutical companies that have done so much to derail true health care in the US? Sure wouldn’t surprise me if the original drug trafficking families were well represented in Pharmaceuticals (as are the Rockefellers).

My trainer in Texas for trucking Crude Oil was at least ten years my senior. After two weeks together 12 hours a day in a big rig you get to know one another pretty well.
Naturally the conversation made it to the Government and the Saudi’s and 9/11 and then the Kennedy assassination.
Jimmy was not a showman, nor did he desire attention. Therefore what he told me I took as the truth.
Jimmy said that his uncle was one of two drivers that transported JFK’s Limo back to Michigan by eighteen wheeler.
He said something was not right with the limo.He also told me the other driver, not his uncle had committed suicide.

As far as I know, U.TO is the best equity proxy for the uranium price…What are your thoughts on uranium these days?

      On October 11, 2017 at 8:02 am,
      Excelsior says:

I moved my exposure to Uranium Stocks down during the rally in Jan/Feb of this year, and then sold completely out of 6 of my dozen favorites and only have core positions in a remaining 6 companies (Energy Fuels, Ur-Energy, Denison Mines, Uranium Energy Corp, Nexgen Energy, and Anfield Resources).

My ideal strategy is to make some cake in the PMs on this next leg higher, and then trim some of the profits and reallocate them into the Uranium miners during tax loss selling in November/December.

Personally, I’m not in a huge rush, but there are some insanely low valuations in many of the miners right now, so it’s hard not to add at these levels. The Uranium markets certainly teach one patience.

Other companies I’ll be buying back when the worm turns are Berkeley Energy, Lightbridge Corp, Centrus Energy, UEX Corp, ALX Uranium, Peninsula Energy, and possibly either Skyharbour Resources or Bannerman Resources.

The longer term off-take agreements that the remaining producers have in place are starting to come to their end of life from now until 2020. It’s a quite opaque market, but from prior interviews and releases from Cameco, Areva, Energy Fuels, and Ur-Energy I believe most of these contracts expire in 2018 or 2019.

Ultimately, the spot and longer term prices won’t move higher until those negotiations take place. It is encouraging the most of Peninsula Energy’s contracts were negotiated in the low $50’s. If the other companies can keep contracts in the $40s-$50s then they’ll make it and prices will start to move up after a terrible bear market.

The only wildcard are the Kazakhstan production centers that are going to be acting like OPEC in Oil as a swing producer and may try to thwart the North American competitors by keeping the spot prices in the $30’s-$40s which gives them good profits but discourages new mines or production coming on line.

That’s what I’ll be watching for 2018 but for now I only have about 1/3 of the allocation and plan on growing that to 60% of my ideal exposure at the end of the year.

The Bear market in Uranium Miners is so much more severe than the bear market in the PMs was, that I anticipate the initial move up may prove startling and incredibly lucrative for those positioned ahead of time.

BTW – More signs of pain for Cameco, and they’ll be needed to make cuts to production for next year, and have lowered their guidance for this year. That is a significant signal to the market of the depths of despair the Uranium market is in and has been in since 2011. Cameco is like the Goldcorp/Barrick of Uranium mining and has a significant weighting in the ETF (URA)

Update: U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Announces Large Cut in Uranium Transfers

We would like to provide you with a clarification of the DOE announcement. The announcement last week only addressed uranium transferred by the DOE for the cleanup of the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant (Portsmouth), not the NNSA down-blending program.”

“Therefore, Sec. Perry’s determination states that transfers of uranium associated with the cleanup of the Portsmouth will be limited to a maximum of 3.1 million lbs. of uranium for 2017 and 2018, versus the 2016 levels of 4.2 million lbs. This represents a cut in DOE transfers of 1.1 million lbs. for both 2017 and 2018, or 25%.”

The time to buy many of these resource juniors will begin in about six weeks and finish just prior to Christmas Dec. 24th. Tax loss season could be a great opportunity well worth the wait. Look at the charts for some of these juniors, savvy investors would have sold after the run up in the early part of the year but many others have big losses and that translates into opportunity time.

My Key Takeaways From The Big Easy

        by @Goldfinger on October 28, 2017

“As I pointed out yesterday on the CEO.ca index channel sentiment among conference attendees felt exactly neutral; calm, but neither optimistic nor pessimistic. In fact, on one of the mining share panels the consensus among the panelists was not bullish on precious metals and mining shares over the short term (1-3 months). However, there was unanimous optimism regarding 2018. Conference organizer Brien Lundin of the Gold Newsletter even offered that he expects a tremendous buying opportunity in precious metals mining shares in the final two months of 2017, before a strong rebound in Q1 2018. ”

“….Brent Cook’s presentation may not have had a ton of new information in it, however, that doesn’t make it any less important. The fact is that senior gold producers face a major challenge over the next 12-24 months as their reserves continue to deplete, AND more importantly, the number of new discoveries globally which could turn the needle for a senior producer (Barrick, Goldcorp, Newmont etc.) can be counted on one hand (Midas Gold’s Stibnite Gold Project and Sabina’s Back River Project were mentioned as two projects which DO make the cut as potential acquisition targets for a senior producer).”

“The question which many gold mining investors are asking themselves is “when will the next M&A cycle really kick off?” After talking to 25-30 junior mining execs and tossing it around in my brain for the last few days i’ve come up with an answer – it’s going to take copper rallying above $3.50/lb and gold to surpass last year’s high (let’s call it $1400 for good measure) to raise the excitement in the metals mining sector, AND more importantly, to increase the urgency for M&A to take place on a large scale in the sector…..”

My feelings toward uranium gate, the proved evidence is enough to warrant the statement that The Obama administration was responsible for more concentrated robbery and rascality than any other in the whole history of the US Federal Government. You have to say that because the dealings of Hillary Clinton were under his watch.

And how did the American people take these disclosures? Did they rise in wrath to punish the offenders?

However the blame also lies in the fact that it is viewed as being unpatriotic to cast discredit on the government, and if you probe too hard you could be labelled a “Bolsheviki”.

At some point people must take a stand against the corrupt status quo and somehow try to reinstate some honesty and integrity into their government.

    Oct 28, 2017 28:12 AM

Why isn’t Obammy, Lerner and these other criminals in prison?

Jeff Sessions should be prosecuting and if he won’t Trump should fire him and get someone in there who will.

      Oct 28, 2017 28:16 AM

I think it’s because anyone who’s been in the District of Criminals for any time is corrupt.

This is why Sessions won’t prosecute. Hell, he’s been there forever. When he’s done one of his successors may go after him for his corruption.

        Oct 28, 2017 28:34 AM

Wonder what Hilly and Billy have on Sessions……………

          Oct 28, 2017 28:49 AM

It’s a club of crime, Jerry.

The odds of being a high ranking politician, or any politician for that matter, without being corrupt are pretty low.

“anyone who’s been in the District of Criminals for any time is corrupt.”

        +1 Ebolan.

Remember Brazil last year? Rousseff was ousted in a legislative soft coup because the Brazilian congress was afraid she might be serious about some swamp draining.

This is why they keep roiling the waters with BS like Charlottesville–so that Left and Right will be at each others’ throats instead of DC’s throat.

          Oct 28, 2017 28:50 PM

I think I have to conclude that ALL politicians are corrupt, even those who have the best of intentions.

After all, the institution of government is based on the use of force, on coercion. So by definition it is an immoral and corrupt institution.

Therefore one must conclude that ALL politicians are corrupt as they are part of a corrupt institution.

        Oct 28, 2017 28:52 PM

Eddy, we don’t know that for a fact.

        Oct 28, 2017 28:55 PM

I could be wrong and if I am, the record is right here, right now and as long as this Web page is accessible.

Mark my words, the Clintons will not see one day in a prison cell. The Clintons will never be convicted of anything. The Clintons will keep every penny of their criminally ill gotten gains.

And IN FACT the Trump Administration and no administration for that matter will ever bring charges against the Clinton Crime Family.

And that goes for Obammy, Lynch, Lerner, Holder…the list of criminals who skate is endless.

    Fed/ECB Strangle Stock Bull

    Adam Hamilton – Oct 27, 2017

“This epic central-bank-easing-driven global stock bull is starting to be strangled by the very central banks that fueled it. This week the European Central Bank made a landmark decision to drastically slash its quantitative easing next year. That follows the Fed’s new quantitative-tightening campaign just getting underway this month. With CBs aggressively curtailing easy-money liquidity, this stock bull is in serious trouble….”

I mentioned years ago now I was buy Commercial / Residential RE. Said the DOW will go way higher. It pays DIVs not gold..I said BE CAREFUL WITH GOLD. I Said Moriarty didn’t have a clue in fact he said if the Dow went up, Gold would go way higher LOL. Pull up a chart. It was the end of cheap energy??! Oil got back down to 35$ bl cheap enough for you? Bobbo hasn’t gotten anything right. The States was toast the Dollar was USED toilet paper….Actually most are way worse off then the US!! Dollar still here.
People are buying real things in safe locations or art or Shelby Mustangs. NO GOLD!!
I’m making $300k a year on rent alone. My building went up 25%. ect ect almost no debt now. Ill sit on my RE cash in my corp. No debt Some top drawer consumer stocks paying DIVs…Gold bugs are idiots…

ARTICLE:::::Gold has lost its movability aspect as they hunt money for taxes. Twenty years ago you could hop on a plane with a briefcase of gold with no problem. From that perspective, gold has lost its international portability. This is obviously why people are turning to diamonds, rare ancient coins, and the like – movable assets. We are even witnessing real estate starting to decline now in New York City. The high-end real estate market (not the low-end) was making new highs as big money was trying to get off the grid. Realtors were reporting to us that the majority of such high-end deals were all for cash – no mortgages.
NEVER shift from the stock market all into gold. Everyone has their pet investment in what they feel comfortable. Gold is a retail product – not institutional. The Institutions can trade ETFs, gold stocks etc., but they will never take possession of gold.
What we are facing in truth is a currency reset. That means that ALL tangible assets rise against the currency in whatever country we are talking about. The goldbugs always hate the dollar and many of them have turned away from gold and into cryptocurrencies.
You will always have people who will prefer stocks, others gold, and others real estate. That is just the way it is. To each their own. END of ARTICLE

Bob Hoye: Its a remarkable bull market!
    Yes and I know why.
If you listen to Moriarty and other gold bone heads you screwed up.
There’s be a swarm of black swans waiting to crash land for a decade!!?? Right. The sky is falling Bull sh*t. Bobs a super self promoter that should shut his pie hole. He’s freaked people out and lost them plenty of money. Gold predicting is near and impossible and and stocks are a super size high risk gamble.
Other fools he posts like Ron Rosen go back a few years. Read his stuff….Shows lines predicting a meltdown in the Dow and a melt-up in Gold. Its been the ABSOLUTE opposite.
People….if you keep listening to these fools you deserve what you get. I said that 3 years ago and everyone jumped on me.
I look back now only to show yous that everyone’s selling something…
I know exactly what to do for the next few years as there is plenty of risk but wouldn’t tell a soul.

      Oct 28, 2017 28:29 PM

Bill, you were dead wrong at the bear market low just before my portfolio went up 7x in one year (at the current price, the Dow took more than twenty years to go up 7x).

Gold will be just fine but the miners are where the real money will be made.

        Oct 29, 2017 29:47 AM

        Hope you are well Mathew!
No I missed the day of the bottom but…. made a great trade. My point is there were a lot of folks saying that That the economy was screw housing was toast ect ect. It was a fantastic time to load up on huge discounts on Many things. We have had the greatest bull market in history in the DOW and a huge move in RE. I don’t worry about a thing. The systems a mess but most were shocked at the level of growth there was and is….Gold nuts got it all wrong…Everything still standing. lol As of late there was a bullish pennant in ZJG but broke down and I was quick to sell. I only trade that stuff.
I’m accumulating nice properties. There is a shortage of housing and quality commercial. I don’t have to juggle this. Rents have gone up a lot. My building appreciated nicely and the mortgage is getting paid down. Leverage works well as the destruction of paper money EVERYWHERE has made this stuff worth millions.
        Best to you

Al’s statement that President Trump is “being totally misunderstood” can be explained by the fact that he can’t put a sentence together on his own or stick to an idea long enough to express it, not because as Al puts it, “no one is listening to him.” Any increase in economic numbers is due to decreased regulation and decreased of enforcement to the detriment of the environment, human rights and future generations. To say that Obama overstepped executive powers by use of executive orders and memoranda without pointing out that Trump is doing the same times 3 is ridiculous. Plus Trump is doing it by violating several government and societal norms.

The Mysterious Death of JFK Jr.

Approaching the end of two terms in the White House, the Clinton’s began preparing for their political future. They focused their attention on developing Hillary as a politician (even though she had no actual experience), and selling influence while they had it…buy now, pay later…payable to what would become “The Clinton Foundation”. Hillary refused to return to Arkansas, and suggested the purchase of a home in New York which would allow her to run for the Senate in the upcoming election. There was just one obstacle…. JFK Jr. had entered the political scene. New York was electric with word of JFK Jr. reclaiming his fathers legacy! A piece of Camelot was still alive in America, and donors began to line up. She knew she could never defeat the son of JFK in New England.

“I’m not going back to Arkansas!”

            Mathew:
I don’t rely on luck. Thanks anyways.

            Oct 30, 2017 30:37 AM

You’ve let your BC luck go straight to your head! If you bought it because of your grasp of its fundamental value, then what’s it worth? We both know you weren’t speculating on the greater fool theory since you’re a card-carrying member so that means you either thought it was fundamentally cheap or you bought because you got caught up in the hype like so many others. I say it’s the latter but if it’s the former, you should be able to tell me what it’s worth.

            Oct 30, 2017 30:52 AM

No my friend, I saw the potential and I took the jump.
I bought Bitcoin before 99.999999999% percent of the people living on this planet have ever heard of it including you.
Bitcoin to me no longer has a monetary value. Just by owning Bitcoin,my eyes have been opened to the opportunity that lies before us. How can you value that?
Now I will make the acquired knowledge pay for me with the new and up and coming blockchain companies.
Bitcoin is no longer my focus.

            Oct 30, 2017 30:02 AM

I knew of it when it was one cent so you are wrong about that.

            Oct 30, 2017 30:09 AM

Mathew: See what I’m saying.I saw the opportunity and you didn’t. Need I say more?

            Oct 30, 2017 30:27 AM

I saw it and would have bought if it was more convenient to do so. It was a busy time and I didn’t bother. Unlike you I never saw it as anything more than the speculation that it was and still is. You’re lying to yourself if you think you had some special knowledge about its future.

            Oct 30, 2017 30:34 AM

The dumbest part of your disagreement with me is that you treat my honest assessment of BC like I have something against it. You’re a typical sheeple investor.

            Oct 30, 2017 30:36 AM

            Mathew:
I didn’t say that I had special knowledge and you know it. Nice try though.
What I am saying is I took the leap and you didn’t.
I was “BUSY” at the time I bought into Bitcoin also. Good thing I wasn’t to “BUSY”

            Oct 30, 2017 30:09 PM

            Yup, good thing, Jon!

            Oct 30, 2017 30:16 PM

            Mathew:
You know that if you put a comment out there your going to have to defend it.
            Honest assessment or not.
You know that I have been on this for over four years.
We are still in the early innings.
We will see how long your “bubble” comment, along with the others who have told me to sell are proven wrong.
In 15 days I will be getting another Crypto as a dividend for holding Bitcoin.
            How about you?

            Oct 30, 2017 30:27 PM

How about me? You’re high as a kite on a gain that has nothing to do with fundamentals or your “analysis” and everything to do with herd psychology.

The evidence is on the side of those who call BC a bubble. The requirements for a bubble are all there.

I know you’re too busy getting offended to pay attention but I never called a top or told you to sell.

My initial opinions about BC were delivered without any negative attitude toward you but that didn’t stop you from making it personal and very stupid. Are you Spanky’s brother?

            Oct 30, 2017 30:49 PM

Why does my being right have to do anything with fundamental analysis? Herd psychology? Four years ago where was the herd?
The herd still hasn’t a clue what is happening here. That is evidenced every time I ask someone locally if they know what Bitcoin is.
As far as Spanky,ie the SPANKMEISTER,he has been all over this rally.
I use to gobble up the pablum, not any more my friend. I know to much now. I just needed the time on the computer to climb far enough down the rabbit hole to figure who was running these markets.
Personal? You dog gone right it’s Personal. I have been chastised ever since Bitcoin started gaining traction.
Those that don’t have any Bitcoin are left with no other option than to hope for the demise of the Cryptos so they can regain their illusionary status as having some sense of credibility.
No my friend, yo’ur just going to have to put up with me and my Bitcoin,Bitcoin Cash,Segwit 2X, and who knows what else in the future.
I’m not going anywhere and you know I will always let you know when somebody else posts about Bitcoin. I will be right there to remind those who have been calling Bitcoin, akin to Beanie Babies, Tulip Bulbs,Parabolic, and of course the dreaded bubble, how wrong they have been.

            Oct 30, 2017 30:01 PM

You know too much now. That is priceless and words to die by in any market.

            Oct 30, 2017 30:06 PM

            Ok Mathew:
How come you never question CFS? Or point out your BUBBLE to him? He also repeatedly posts about Bitcoin.
            Why is that Mathew?

            Oct 30, 2017 30:43 PM

As far as I know, CFS talks about the merits of the technology and not whether or not BC is in a bubble.
You seem to think that it can’t be in a bubble if it has merit which is completely false.

            Oct 30, 2017 30:08 PM

            Really Mathew:

As far as I know. Please……That was really lame. CFS bought in as did many others. Mathews never questions them as they talk about the merits. Please…
            …………….
I’m done with you Mathew. I’ve got better things to do.

            Oct 30, 2017 30:12 PM

    Big Al,

Have enjoyed yours and Corey’s shows. Some of your shows with Rep, Walter Jones have been especially informative as you have talked with a patriotic and straight-shooting Congressman. I was very disappointed by your interview with Frank Buckley to the extent that I had to stop listening. Mr. Buckley represents the Neocon wing of the Republican Party that believes that we should be fighting in every Middle Eastern country. You should have asked him why the United States should be involved in a civil war in Syria at all. He also stated as fact that Assad was responsible for the chemical attack when even British intelligence, not an impartial source, said that anti-Assad forces were responsible and that is why Obama held off on retaliation. Iran is not our enemy. They did not sponsor the attackers on 911- that was Saudi Arabia. This man sounds like he gets his information from CNN and the other mass media. Please don’t invite him back and waste our time.

After listening to Byron King talking about uranium miners, I found it somewhat sad that he talked of the older generation miners of Uranium were all retired. That’s true, but a vast majority of them are dead from the radioactivity poisoning of their bodies. Particularly the Navaho men who worked the mines in Arizona and New Mexico. Don’t forget the contaminated small towns in Colorado (Uravan) and Wyoming (Jeffrey City). If foreign sources are available and they’re selling Uranium for those green pieces of paper we produce, let’s keep on doing it. JMO
