I firmly believe that our entire country is a bit of a sleezeball for putting up with the discussion of these events by supporting the distributors.
The anti-Trump faction is very effectively dragging our country into the toilet bowl of the world.
I am not really sure how any sophisticated individual could have any respect what so ever for the United States of America.
All of the stops have been pulled out of the game. In reality, not one knows what the truth is . Good people are at each others throats and there is absolutely no room for polite and rational discussion.
People are becoming wrapped in their thinking and all reason has been thrown out of the window.
Tv news has turned into a venue that contains material not suitable for children to watchs This may sound crazy, but I am not really sure just how the beginning of the End Times could be much different that our current environment.
I firmly believe that the end of the United States is currently being witnessed by all of us.
At this moment in time Big Al is definitely not proud of his country or the majority of its leaders.
How about you? (If you begin to answer this question please leave your personal prejudices out of your thinking process and consider only the actual events and nothing else.)
Am I going to give up and hide in a bottle of red wine? Absolutely not! We all have a recognized venue here that people read.
All of your are making a difference . Bob you certainly do make people stop and think. (But then again, you know that.) So do all of us. I hope Jim also makes a difference. The discourse between both of you may cause some anger, but I guarantee that some of that anger does transgress into solid thought and that has to be good.
The leadership in America has gone insane. On all sides. It’s like watching a horrible divorce where husband and wife come to the point where they will do anything, say anything to hurt the other side and the children watch in horror as their world is being destroyed.
But this isn’t being kept within American boundaries. Variations of “wag the dog” are being used by all sides. The problem is that these “wag the dog” maneuvers are escalating and dragging in all kinds of players from false flag jihadis, to porn stars, to British and French spooks, to Ukrainian Nazis, to Israeli firsters and on and on and on.
The rest of the world looks on. Putin is starting to wonder when the “wag the dog” is going to force him to realize he’s dealing with a rabid dog not a partner.
And Trump is so wrought up (partially by people who know how to push his buttons and partially by his lack of self control, past and present) that he doesn’t even know how to be President.
And Satan laughing, spreads his wings.
IG Report Presents New Evidence Obama DOJ Sought to Shut Down FBI Investigation Into Clinton Foundation
The highly-anticipated Inspector General report on the firing of former Deputy Director of the FBI Andrew McCabe was released Friday afternoon.
The report is very damning; McCabe lied under oath several times.
The Inspector General report also presented new evidence Obama’s DOJ sought to shut down the FBI investigation of the Clinton Foundation.
The report by the Office of Inspector General criticizes McCabe for “lack of candor” regarding his disclosure to Wall Street Journal reporters before the 2016 election.
McCabe lied at least three times under oath, he lied to the Inspector General and lied to James Comey.
Not only did McCabe deserve to be fired, he should be prosecuted and put in prison.
The Wall Street Journal, which is at the center of the accusation against McCabe’s media leaks did previously report that there was an internal struggle between the DOJ leadership and FBI agents investigating the Clinton Foundation.
New details show that senior law-enforcement officials repeatedly voiced skepticism of the strength of the evidence in a bureau investigation of the Clinton Foundation, sought to condense what was at times a sprawling cross-country effort, and, according to some people familiar with the matter, told agents to limit their pursuit of the case. The probe of the foundation began more than a year ago to determine whether financial crimes or influence peddling occurred related to the charity.
Some investigators grew frustrated, viewing FBI leadership as uninterested in probing the charity, these people said. Others involved disagreed sharply, defending FBI bosses and saying Mr. McCabe in particular was caught between an increasingly acrimonious fight for control between the Justice Department and FBI agents pursuing the Clinton Foundation case.
However, page 5 of the Inspector General report reveals more details of a top DOJ official expressing concerns FBI agents were taking overt steps in the Clinton Foundation investigation during the presidential campaign.
McCabe–PADAG Call on the CF Investigation (August 12)
McCabe told the OIG that on August 12, 2016, he received a telephone call
from PADAG [Principle Associate Deputy Attorney General] regarding the FBI’s handling of the CF Investigation (the “PADAG
call”). McCabe said that PADAG expressed concerns about FBI agents taking overt
steps in the CF Investigation during the presidential campaign. According to
McCabe, he pushed back, asking “are you telling me that I need to shut down a
validly predicated investigation?” McCabe told us that the conversation was “very
dramatic” and he never had a similar confrontation like the PADAG call with a highlevel
Department official in his entire FBI career. continued…

Al you summed it up very well. In a nutshell those are my exact feelings. I have been expressing those same thoughts about America to my kids. How did we get here ??? the ol frog in a pot of water under a flame comes to mind. Really sad, but a Belief that there is truly Heaven awaiting to those who Believe brings me a Hope and some comfort. 1 Cor 2:9 KD

When Comey started writing about how his hands were bigger than Trumps I knew it was going to get stupid. Of course the problem with saying that the hooker story was possible he forgot to mention that it’s also possible that Comey’s wife is a hooker. She has all the equipment and who knows? Would she like to submit to an investigation?
This has turned into a stupid reality show for the ignorant and biased. It’s easy to see both sides as blithering and corrupt idiots.
Thanks for the correct observation, Robert.
Since the Washington Post has all of the answers, why is there any question and ensuing investigation?
Alfred Hitchcock could not have written a better script.

It is amazing that lewd stories such as this are now part of the media. Going back to my initial comment this morning (late morning as i did sleep in)
The current media missives are similar to double x rated movie scripts of the past.
Do you all like the direction of our society today? I certainly do not!
Remember the name Ruemmler?
Thanks CFS
Whose attorney…..Ruemmler?

And Rice’s attorney is? Surprise…..

Great show again. Thanks.
I’m not sure the stock market is a good measure of an effective President.
Sooner or later Euphoria will wear off and valuations will return to the norm.
Isn’t the timing of the atasck on Syria interesting?
I suspect it was because it took time to coordinate efforts with France and UK, but it was convenient to be after the markets closed for the weekend.
That is certainly not a simple coincidence, Professor.
Didn’t Eric Burden also say “We gotta get out of this place” ?
Really too bad he was so dysfunctional because he had a lot of very good things to say. I have herd that he is retired outside of Palm Springs and has gotten pretty straight. For a man with his talent and intelligence, I hope that is the case.
A real talent! nad yes,We do gotta get out of ths place!
Plus ca change, plus c’est la meme chose….only the hair got whiter?
yes it did, Professor!

Darth Trump along with the neocon Imperial Stormtroopers , along with their lackys in the UK & France fullfill their wish to commit more War Crimes.
A POX on their house’s.
BTW…I watched the dirtball May on the bbc this morning trying to justify what she had done…it gave me a good laught. Not sure if it was just me, but she looked like George Sores.
I don’t know why the Tories ever picked May, except they are mostly fossilized and out of date. If the Labour Party had not gone Commie, the situation would be much different.
Mr Irish the world is truly a crazy place! I still get some of my sanity from old rockers!
I missed the bit with any stormtroopers, Irish.
They let off 120 missiles and no reported deaths yet.
I wonder how/if Russia will retaliate.

For anyone who is cheering for the US/UK/French attack on Syria, here are some thoughts.
The Trump administration has not offered a public legal justification for last year’s strikes, and it seems unlikely to offer one this time. That is probably because there is no plausible interpretation of the law that permits the president to initiate hostilities against foreign governments on his own when the U.S. has not been attacked. There is no provision in international law that allows a U.S. attack on another government without explicit Security Council authorization, and we know that this authorization that will never be forthcoming in this case because of Russia’s veto. While the attack is being sold as the enforcement of a norm against chemical weapons use, it isn’t possible to uphold an international norm while violating the most fundamental rule of international law.
http://www.theamericanconservative.com/articles/airstrikes-against-syria-would-set-off-a-powder-keg/
As I have maintained for a week, it is an illegal attack against a sovereign nation with a democratically elected government. The US is there illegally, the attack is illegal and in time the world will reflect on what was a very stupid action on the part of the US/UK and France.
You cannot enforce laws by breaking them.
Robert…Its the same MO.they used against Iraq, & look how that played out.
70% of the missiles brought down bu 30 year old systems (S125, S200, Buk, Kvadrat, etc.) I’m not saying this “massive attack” was a nothing burger but it’s “effectiveness” IS going to be questioned.
So what next? This was all based on BS to start with. I guess we’re going to PHD (pile higher and deeper).
Whom the Gods would destroy, they first drive mad, That sure as Hell seems to be this administration and particularly Trump.
Deep State………just wants to cover up the $21Trillion they stole……..All this is a joke, and a very sad one at that…………JMO
The OLC gives it’s permission to trump for his action last night against Syria. This is the same agency that gave the Shrub (little Bush) permission for torture!
https://theintercept.com/
Robert, I do not disagree in this case. What is the legal rational for Russians presence?
Al:
Well, other than the fact they have a lease on the naval base and have had for decades you might want to understand that the legal and sovereign government of Syria invited them.
It’s the difference between a house guest staying with you for the weekend and a burglar.
Putin, posting on the Kremlin website, called the attack on Syria illegal and criminal and is calling for a UN meeting to condemn the US.
Putin did not mention retaliation.
Mr. Moriarty, the Syrian election was totally unilaterally controlled by only one political party…..it is a stretch to call it “democratic” if no other parties are permitted.
It is about as democratic as elections in China or Soviet USSR.
CFS…You left out the US………..One party ,two heads = voter fixing.
I agree, US politics is much too polarized and busy fighting party versus party instead of doing what is best for the country.
CFS:
When half the people in Palestine are not allowed to vote, it’s more than a stretch to call Israel a democratic nation.
So?
Number of eligible voters for 2015 Israel elections: 5.8 million.
Population of Israel 2016. 8.547 million.
Allowing for children too young to vote, I do not detect disenfranchisement.
I’m just looking at facts, of course.
Of course, Gaza is not part of Israel, and I would not expect Mexicans to be allowed to vote in the US, although many do.
CFS:
Three more half truths and you will have another whole truth. What about the residents in Gaza and the West Bank totally under the control of Israel? Gaza is part of Palestine as is the West Bank and it is firmly under Israel’s full control.
Putin responds……….

Interesting response from him, Mr. Irish.
Stupid move by Trump and the French rothschild puppet, and all the queens weasels.

His eyes are open Mr. Irish. And contrary to some incorrect opinions, he is not a warmonger at all.
Brought tears to my eyes, Mr. Irish.
Great show as always!
Hope all is well Al.
Anyone here in the same camp regarding equity markets and bear on its way? Just curious as to what targets on Dow might some of you have. Some say the pain will be far worse then 2007/2009 bottom. If we do get to those lower targets do any of you see the price actions in the stocks on equities going back down to there 2009 lows or will they correct lower from these highs and make a higher low then 2009 sniffing higher inflation and new money injection in the future?
Where in the cycle do you guys see gold and the stocks more specifically? I wonder if we are in the 2007 summer ready to make a move up but then dive down with equities 2008 style. Thoughts on all the above are appreciated.
Looks to me that the Canadian housing bubble may have finally topped and confirmation of that is starting to show its tail. The talk around town and in the community’s is no one wants to sell to upgrade anymore. Simply the dog collar is being squeezed to tight. Everyone nervous and the continuous re- mortgaging 2-3 times is cartching up as perceived equity is being wiped out as interest rates continue to rise in Canada and home prices collapse. By next year I expect home sales to rise as many get scared but the buyers simply won’t be around.

On sidelines waiting for equities crash and bottom. also waiting for $ cad to see if we go back up to my target of par or over par once again over the $us. I plan to buy $ us at that time. Yes sounds crazy but all currencies are in the race to devalue.

I look for gold and silver to bottom below 10 on the DSI. We are sideways on shares until then.
Robert according to your link the number on gold is at 68 and silver 33. Bullish percentage. Your looking for a10 on that number for gold?
What other index’s do others use on stocharts for bullish percentage.
Thanks Roberts very much appreciated.
The link shows all of the indexes and commodities tracked.
Bob M – Great point (as always) on watching the DSI for sentiment/pricing turns.
The DXY is at 39. If it heads for 10 before gold does, then gold should go much higher before it can start a fall to 10.
Glenfidish – Nice of you to check in ya rascal. Glad to hear all is going well.
I’m still holding a truckload of miners but they are diversified across different commodities and energy stocks, and across sub-sectors/stages {ie. producers, developers, explorers, prospect generator/royalty cos, etc…} .
My perspective is unchanged, that we put in the bottom in Gold in Dec 2015, and the miners in Jan 2016 and have been in a steady climb since then of lower lows. The initial pressure valve release in the first 8 months of 2016 from Jan – August got a bit ahead of itself but had one of the most epic moves up we’ve seen in many years.
As a result it’s taken a year and half to digest those gains in a sideways to down consolidation pattern, but the larger Gold picture is still a large rounded or saucer bottom. We are about to move up out of that on the right-hand side and into the next major up-leg.
The next big leg higher will need to take out the 2016 high of $1377.50 to bring in new buyers, and then blast up through $1392, to $1400+, and possibly up to the Fib extension targets up near $1455.88 or $1504.36
Cheers mate!
correction to post above regarding gold since the 2015 bottom:
“a steady climb since then of “higher” lows…” 😉
** Also note the volume increase from the Gold chart posted above ^
ditto on the 1377…….1392….I think once we are pass those numbers….1455 and 1500, are no brainer…….
Shad buddy,
Thanks for summarizing your position in a very well structured manner lol. You are a professor and so is are good friend and master of calls matt. Everyone in here should be rewarded just a matter of patience.
Keep letting us know your positions as we go forward.
Thanks
Glen
Thanks jerry hope all is well with you
Thanks Glenfidish for the kind words and yes, agreed with your statement:
“Everyone in here should be rewarded just a matter of patience.”
Ever Upward!
Glenfidish……..thanks for the reply, hope all stays well with you……
EX:
I’m not sure I was 100% clear. I absolutely agree with you about the Dec/Jan bottom in 2015/2016 but I suspect we will not have a turn until we have a DSI of 10. The silver open interest is troubling as is the speculator longs in gold. We need a washout and you don’t get that with record levels on open interest even if the silver shorts are shortr than they have ever been.
Hi Bob M. Yes I understood your point about Gold getting down to 10-20 on the Daily Sentiment Index before we see the next turn higher.
We can have a short term wash out in Gold where the sentiments down that low that won’t violate the larger longer term pattern of the rounded bottom and still puts in a higher low above the $1238.30 that we saw in Dec 2017.
My comments were looking at Gold coming out of the rounded bottom after that mini-washout event takes place in the next few months during the summer doldrums.
Matthew also raised and interesting point above on the DXY that if it heads lower in sentiment first, that this action may move up the PMs before the drop. That is a valid scenario to keep an eye on in the shorter – medium term as the dollar has been quite weak and is still moving like wounded animal that could easily still head lower to 84 support zone.
Fun times!
Glen,Just wait for the construction industry to get sucked up in this downturn. It is easily the biggest employer in The GTA. Construction workers are like the oil industry it is either boom or bust. When the downturn settles in the hard luck stories and the drinking will be plentiful. I saw it in 1989-90 and then for 9 years you were lucky if you could get enough weeks in to claim employment insurance, and when that ran out you were hustling like mad to put food on the table. This time it will be much worse because the high has been much greater and the losses will be a real downer. When times are good you must prepare for the bad to come just like the markets. DT
Tracy,
You are bang on with that phrase when the times are good one must prepare for the worse! That line is epic and like you said any smart investor should know how to apply that in the markets when trading or long term investing.
Thanks for your thoughts..
+1 Agreed. It’s like the lesson drawn from the story of the Grasshopper and the Ants.
The ants think about Winter all Summer, and about Summer all Winter. Time to be prepared.
And what is really sad, Mr. Tracy, is that not nearly enough folks realize tha.
“that” for “tha”
Sorry
I believe an equities bear is underway – along with bonds and the dollar. The situation that is now unfolding could hardly be better for the gold/silver miners.
With respect to interest rates, it’s the 1940’s again but the implications for gold are far superior now. The balance sheet of USA, Inc. has been trashed since then and the rest of the world is as bad or worse off for the most part.
http://www.kitco.com/commentaries/2017-12-29/images/Dec222017edchart4.png
So, Matthew, you also agree with Rebecca!
Relative to the quantity of fiat money, gold is very cheap…
http://www.kitco.com/commentaries/2017-12-29/images/GoldFMQ.png
DITTO………..agree 100%
Looking at the gold stocks versus the S&P 500 on a 100 year chart, one could make the case that the 2000 and 2015 lows are both part one huge double bottom. But whether we go there or not doesn’t matter, the upside potential for the gold stocks is better now than at any other time in the last century. If you understand economics and the (fiat) monetary events of the last (Keynesian/Marxist) century, then you know that there’s nothing controversial about that claim.
http://www.kitco.com/commentaries/2017-12-29/images/Dec222017edchart2.png
Matt,
Great stuff and thanks as always. Hope this message finds you well and in green :). If you could briefly chime in on my post regarding equities and how low the specific stocks may go. Example caterpillar, the banks, Coca Cola etc. Do you believe they will hit there 2009 lows or not go down as far? I’m re-arranging my portfolio this time around to include equities as well as miners.
Also do you see the cad retesting that par and above par Mark set against the dollar back in 2009 I believe.
Hey Glen, I hope all is well with you. I think the BKX (bank index) will find support around 75 while CAT will probably hold above 120 unless the stock market crashes. In that event, I don’t think it will go much lower than 100. This isn’t 2008 in any way but COKE looks like a catastrophe in the making. I wouldn’t be tempted to touch it anytime soon from a buy and hold point of view.
SPY will ultimately be cut in half or worse and the Canadian dollar probably will match or exceed the U.S. dollar once again.
What a chart Matt! Enough said that is music to my ears and that chart shows much higher prices. Thanks pal. Wow cat holding that high is for big time players then. Not enough skin for me. You know we like to swing for the 5-10 x if not more price movement.
Keep us posted Matt always appreciate it.
So I have to assume that you enjoyed the segment with Rebecca Walser.
Irish, there are innocent victims, but since Bashar Assad came to power, it has been claimed he has used chemical attacks between 60 and 70 times. Are they all untrue claims?
What about those victims?
CFS….See theres the rub, “it has been claimed” Where is the evidence ?
I dont now, if Assad has used these weapons against his own people.
But if he has….Then damn him to hell.
Is a number of stockpiles amounting to 1,000 TONS of mustard gas, Sarin, chlorine and VX nerve agent and precursor chemicals enough of a smoking gun. That is verified information.
The Russians destroyed about 600 tons of the stuff. That is verified.
Do I just not know of possible peaceful uses for that stuff? Maybe for limiting bacterial growth in swimming pools?
I personally believe that is definitely enough of a smoking gun, CFS
Mr. Irish and CFS,
And, therein lies the problems THE BIG PROBLEM. Who really knows just what the truth is?
How is the following explained by the doubters:
In July 2012, Syria publicly acknowledged that it possesses chemical weapons.
July 23, 2012: Syrian Foreign Ministry spokesman Jihad Makdissi confirmed for the first time that Syria has chemical weapons, stating that these weapons would never be used against the Syrian people, but only against “external aggression.”
May 1, 2014: Syria missed the revised deadline to remove all of its chemical weapons stockpile from the country by the end of April. Approximately 8 percent of the stockpile, largely sarin precursor chemicals, remains in Damascus.
August 24, 2016: The third report of the OPCW-UN Joint Investigative Mechanism was released, finding that the Syrian government was responsible for chemical weapons attacks in Talmenes in April 2014 and in Sarmin in March 2015. The report found that the Islamic State was responsible for an attack using sulfur mustard in Marea in August 2015.
April 5, 2017: The UN Security Council called an emergency meeting to discuss the chemical weapons attack in Idlib.
These are just some examples.
Common guys, what am I missing?
CFS;
How did you do in that logic course? If it had been claimed 6000 to 7000 times would that increase the chance of any of them being true?
There is something called “disinformation” You know as in “By way of deception” You don’t really believe all the crap you post do you?
Actually and this is one of those minor points you manage to gloss over, it’s illegal to initiate the use chemical weapons according to international law. However it’s quite legal to respond to the use of chemical weapons by terrorists or states attacking you with chemical weapons.
Likewise the Geneva convention makes it quite legal for Hamas and Gaza to respond in a military way to their illegal incarceration by Israel. The IDF is committing war crimes and we know that, but responding to them is not a crime, it’s absolutely legal.
Bob,
How can you verify that Syrian has absolutely no chemical weapons? Not trying to start an argument, just wondering.
If that were, in fact, verifiable I would definitely change my opinion.
By the way,
Please see the numbers posted in my comment above.
Al:
That would be impossible but you missed my point. It’s always been legal to respond to a chemical attack. Without any doubt, the legal government of Syria has been attacked by outside sponsored terrorists. Including the ones Turkey, Israel, the US, the UK and France have sponsored and paid for and there have been chemical attacks by the terrorists.
Like it or not, it’s legal to respond.
We need to remember, we are the terrorists in this case, not the good guys. You don’t have to like Assad but he has been under attack by Israel and the US for the best part of 30 years.
Im starting to wonder if Marx was right about Capitalism works only between the crisis to crisis nature thats inherent to it
Chemical weapons alleged to have been used by Syria include:
Phosphorus, Sarin (Agent 18, 21) and chlorine.
https://www.armscontrol.org/factsheets/Timeline-of-Syrian-Chemical-Weapons-Activity
CFS…The same weapons used by the US & others since WW2 & other gases used in WW1
See there’s the rub again, “alleged”
CFS:
When simple logic doesn’t support your position, you could always look at the facts.
Douma Chemical Attack: Timeline of Facts so Far
https://russia-insider.com/en/douma-chemical-attack-timeline-facts-so-far/ri23015?
Mr. Moriarty, I agree, cui bono is a problem for me.
France TV has suggested that with Bashar Assad’s support waning, he used the chemical attack, expecting the rebels to be blamed and boost support for himself.
I find that hard to believe.
My best guess, is that a chemical stockpile (of almost certainly chlorine) was hit accidentally.
I do not believe a nerve agent was used, and I do’t believe May’s claim of such a high number of deaths.
However, I am not privy to her intelligence reports or Trump’s reports.
I have to believe they would not invoke such a potentially dangerous attack without good evidence.
Truth is often the first victim in the fog of war, and I wish they had waited until the OPCW had made a report.
I do realize, however, rightly ot wrongly, Trump can act precipitously; such is his nature.
There is a site that shows chlorine tubes with serial numbers from the area that supposedly was attacked. If anyone felt like figuring out who had the chlorine it would take a phone cal to find out.
If Assad did not use chemical weapons, why did he have stockpiles of them?
That fact is not “alleged”.
CFS:
Actually it is not even alleged. The US/UK and France attacked his stockpiles. (if there were really stockpiles of chemical weapons, it would be really dumb to blow them up)
If he didn’t have any chemical weapons, we would attack an empty field containing all the chemical weapons he doesn’t possess. It’s just like attacking Iran for the nuclear weapons program that we know they don’t have.
I find all this “stockpiles of chemical weapons” talk to be disingenuous. If it’s Sarin, OK. But chlorine, give me a break.
I feel this total sense of disillusionment slowly settling down around me and upon the world. No rational man could not feel the fear and hate and greed and narrow thinking that yesterday’s air strikes have caused. If there is one ray of sunshine it is that Russia the west’s whipping boy has so far showed restraint and a thought for the welfare of humanity.
I do not find that hard to believe at all Mr. Tracy.
It is clearly in humanity’s best interest and Russia is part of humanity.
Here is Ms. May’s statement on Syrian attack.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENJu9h796v8
I don’t believe it all, but it is worth a listen.
I will repeat my position.
I don’t believe Assad used chemical weapons in an attack last Saturday.
I believe chlorine was released in Douma. (Probably by a shell hitting a stockpile.)
(Unverified reports indicate two MI-8 helicopters were seen there dropping canisters or bombs.)
I don’t believe claims of numbers killed last Saturday, or foaming mouths on victims.
The footage I saw indicated chlorine.
I believe Trump’s attack was premature.
I do understand Trump wanting to save face, by acting quickly after he stupidly tweeted quickly immediately after seeing footage of the gas victims.
I hope the strike was small and surgical enough that any Russian retaliation will just be accepted, without further escalation.
CFS:
You are probably 98% correct.
BUT, and that’s a big BUT, Trump wanted to send a message to somebody, what if Putin feels like sending a message to someone?
We are living in a fyycking reality show.
Mr. Moriarty, Just for the record, I assume you are aware the OPCW has confirmed the use by Assad of chemical weapons, several times.
It is not like he has never used chemical weapons ever, and previous action is not just “alleged”.
If I remember correctly, the OPCW claims Assad used chemical weapons 4 times and Daesh twice in the most recent period they looked at. As far as I know Douma is completely surrounded by Assad troops, with no Daesh in the vicinity.
CFS:
If there is anyone in the entire spectrum who tells the entire truth all of the time, including you, please let me know. I think everyone is lying most of the time and once in a while everyone tells a little of the truth. Including you.
When Assad was on the cusp of 100% success it would be utterly irrational for him to use chemical weapons. It would be snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory. It he has used chemical weapons in the past to respond to chemical attacks it would be perfectly legal. That was always the fatal flaw to the 1925 accords.
Al Jazeera was reporting rioting and protests by Syrian civilians against Assad.
I expected a better response on this one, Bob.
I tried to make that point above, Professor.
I would prefer to call it an “unreality show”. I have been involved in some really bizarre situations and this one including most the the world tops them all!.
Al:
It’s as if everyone involved is smoking crack. The bits that have floated out of the Comey book make you realize that someone six foot eight can be a very tiny person. Trump has his $130,000 hooker who is the only person in the US more shameless than he is, Cohen almost certainly violated campaign financing laws. Mueller who is supposed to be investigating Russian interference with the election is ignoring the 98% that is visible on the part of the Democrats and HC. McCabe got caught lying again and again and wants to whine about being a victim. The DoJ and FBI are stonewalling Congress on perfectly reasonable demands on the part of congress. Congress has utterly abandoned their obligation under the Constitution to initiate warfare. Trump has unilaterally decided that he somehow can now determine when and where to go to war without any legal justification. He seems to lack the ability to keep his pecker in his pocket and his hookers keep popping up like zits on a thirteen year old.
Israel keeps doing everything in their power to drag the US into WW III, we have totally insane people in the top levels of the administration, the country is finally realizing it is totally bankrupt.
I don’t care who supports who. They are all clinically insane and the least corrupt of them all make Attila the Hun look like he just won the Nobel Peace Prize.
Even if Assad used chemical warfare, and there is no proof that he was the guilty party, we have no business getting involved. If Assad is removed ISIS will probably take over and be even worse. Look at Libya after Hillary and Obongo kiled Muamar K. It’s easy to get into war and very difficult to get out. We’ve wasted over a trillion in our 17 years in Afghanistan so that the CIA can profit from the opium trade. I hope this will not escalate into a war with Putin. World War One was in no one’s interest and yet it happened and was a disaster. Stop the bombing! Read “Brer Rabbit and the Tar Baby,” by Uncle Remus. Syria is a tar baby.
Your comment, Bonzo, is actually one of the better ones in this thread. Many thanks.

Why Gold Remains The Safe Haven Asset Of Choice In Times Of Geopolitical Uncertainty
13 Apr 2018
Seems to me that I have heard this somewhere before, Excelsior.
Yes agreed. We’ve all discussed these points dozens of times over the years.
I just saw the article posted elsewhere and thought I’d also post it here, since it was a nice review for new listeners/readers that may have just stumbled onto the site and are trying to find a way to diversify their portfolios.
Are We On The Verge Of A Silver Crunch?
Kitco News – Apr 12, 2018
“Silver supply has not yet peaked, and the range-bound trading pattern is due to excessive supply above ground, not below it, according to Johann Wiebe, Lead Metals Analyst at Thomson Reuters.”

Last Hurrah For The Zinc Price
Frik Els | 19 minutes ago
EX:
Over time there have been about 50 billion ounces of silver produced. Much has been recycled and no one, not a single source, really knows how much silver there is above ground. It has to be in billions of ounces. Silver doesn’t have the 70 year supply of product above ground that gold does but year to year supply and demand are pretty meaningless due to the unknown supply above ground.
An interesting point Bob M. and I concur that nobody knows anything. 🙂
I just thought I’d post that interview since he was the lead metals analyst at Thomson Reuters and they are better informed on the metals markets than most organizations.
Cheers!
Personally I just let the price action and sentiment drive my decisions to go long, go to the sidelines, or go short in the Precious Metals and related mining stocks.
Most of the mining stocks I’m investing in still work at lower silver prices anyway.
Both Americas Silver and Silvercorp project about a $1-$4 AISC this year for their Silver equivalent ounces due to the base metal credits from Zinc & Lead so Silver at $15, $16, $17 isn’t that big of a deal. Now if Silver gets back up to $18-$10 then it is a shot in the arm for the whole sector and makes companies like Bayhorse, Alexco, Aurcana start looking more attractive again.
that should have said $18-$20…
THE STUNNING SILVER SETUP…
Clive Maund – April 08, 2018
“We now have the most bullish setup for silver that we have ever seen. After trading sideways / down for over 20 months now, investors have completely lost interest in it, which is of course the perfect breeding ground for a huge rally that seems to come out of nowhere. As we will proceed to see both COTs and the silver to gold ratio are at record extremes that point to a major bullmarket in silver starting imminently.”
“….. Finally, if all the above presented evidence isn’t enough to convince you that silver is drawing close to a new bullmarket, see what you make of our last chart, for the silver / gold ratio going back 20 years…”
“Conclusion: A major new silver bullmarket looks imminent that is expected to kick off with a dramatic spike, due to a wave of panic short covering.”
So Ex, its a good time to buy is it?
I just read Bobs we dont know above ground supply post.
Ive been saying that for years and now its a good point??
Struck me as funny.
b – I never said now was / wasn’t a good time to buy in any post above or recently. Many of the editorials and articles/reports that I post have differing perspectives. That doesn’t have anything to do with my actual personal outlook, as I often post things for consideration that I may even disagree with, and I try to consider different vantage points for holistic approach. For me, I like to get all the opinions out on the table and then choose my path forward after considering all sides on a topic.
> For example, in the Kitco interview on the top “Are We On The Verge of a Silver Crunch?” the Thomson Reuters metals analyst Johann Wiebe concluded it was not. He feels there is plenty of excess supply that is fungible/tradable sloshing around and that Silver will be range-bound and then end the year slightly higher with a target of $18.
> In the Clive Maund article he is more constructive on Silver and see’s a similar set up in the charts that we saw prior to 3 different previous Silver rallies.
People can review them both and decide how they feel about Silver fundamentally or technically, but for me I use price action and sentiment as my guides.
** As for the above ground supply, I was simply agreeing with Bob M. that nobody really knows what it’s level is, but that it is likely in the Billions.
The reason I agreed was because all that there are from CPM group or Thomson Reuters are estimates, and those have drifted over time. I also agreed that there likely is billions, but that there isn’t the 70 year mining supply that there is with the Gold market. Lastly, I was agreeing because I think the supply issue isn’t the main price driver, rather it is sentiment/investment demand/and price action itself.

“b – I never said now was / wasn’t a good time to buy in any post above or recently”
Posting that IS saying its a good time to buy, but thats ok, I was justa funnin ya.
I happen to think its time to own what ya think is gonna make ya coin if PMs move up.
I was a tad early to b honust, had I waited another day Id have owned 15%-20% more shares.
O well, I think the bull will cover any mistakes anyway.
Now that Ive jinxed it, the break will undoubtedly be down.
Due to the presentation of a few billion onces hidden for the last century or two no less.
Like I said above I post both bullish & bearish articles on many sectors all the time, but again I didn’t write the pieces, and they are for consideration of differing views.
Just because I post something doesn’t mean I buy it hook, line, and sinker… That is for the reader to discern for themselves.
I clarified my personal position on what I expect further up above in a different thread to Glenfidish & Bob M.
My portfolio is already in a good position if the dollar weakens and this pushed metals up past the 2016 high, but if there is sentiment wash-out first before the next leg higher, then I believe it will be one of the last good opportunities to get the miners on sale before the next impulse leg higher.
Ever Upward!

The Northern Miner – Richard Quarisa – April 13, 2018
“We love to buy stuff for cheap,” Orefinders CEO Stephen Stewart says in an interview with The Northern Miner. “I don’t want to say I’m a deal guy, but I’m a bit of a deal guy and I’m always looking for something that makes sense. If it fits in our portfolio, it checks those boxes, absolutely, we’re interested.”
“Orefinders acquired the 6.8 sq. km McGarry gold property for 8 million shares. The property consists of the past-producing McGarry gold mine and Barber-Larder open gold pit which sit on 2.4 strike km of the Cadillac-Larder Lake break near Virginiatown, Ontario. It comes with some infrastructure, including a shaft and hoist.”
“Orefinders is also spinning off its silver-cobalt Mann mine and MacMurchy nickel property into Power Ore, a new, battery metals focused company.”

I googled her Bio and basically came up with a blank
There was a recent survey that indicated 66% of millennials did not know what the holocaust was.
CFS:
Do you really think the Millennials know how many Iraqi women women and Children died while Monica was……………
The holocaust was horrible. That is all the more reason to teach the millennials what the 2nd Amendment is about.
I happen to agree with you JohnK, on this one. I would take it a step further and say that “in respect for the second amendment people need to learn how to use the weapons in the interest of safety and certainly efficiency.
Afternoon JohnK.
Todor does not feel the need to direct anyone’s life. She is simply providing a source of information as far as I know.
I will repeat CFS’s comment that he didn’t think the stock market is a good measure of an effective President.
Just like GDP is not a good measure of the Moral health of a Country.
Someone buys a gun and a box of ammo and they shoot one of your family, GDP goes up.
Get the picture?
How exactly does the GDP go up in your example?
gross domestic product.
the total value of goods produced and services provided in a country during one year.
My point CFS is that instead of always focusing on the financial aspect, maybe it’s about time to rethink the Moral aspects of things.
GDP is a very flawed statistic.
Defensive expenditures contribute to GDP. E.g. as society breaks down, spending on security systems is a GDP plus. The massive medical spending owing to poor nutrition is also a GDP plus, though obviously perhaps counteracted by lower productivity. But when one is strip mining a society, that doesn’t necessarily matter. Especially with increasing automation, and cheap overseas labor.
Likewise, paying daycare to raise children is a plus to GDP, while a mother raising her own child is not.
More generally, the tendency to financialize ever more aspects of our lives and economy may be boosting GDP, but it is corroding quality of life.
Well said.
Very simple CFS “goods are purchased”
The broken window fallacy was first expressed by the great French economist, Frederic Bastiat. Bastiat used the parable of a broken window to point out why destruction doesn’t benefit the economy. … The broken window fallacy is often used to discredit the idea that going to war …
It would also be of interest to me to hear what Rebecca Walser thought what were the causes of the Great Depression since she referenced 1929. Also it would be of interest to hear what she thought the time lines of duration for the inevitable next crash would be.
France 24 News is covering the attack:
France 24 just reported EVERY member of NATO was consulted and supported the US/UK/French attack. EVEN TURKEY APPROVED.
The UN was not consulted because a Russian veto was expected…..No point in wasting time.
So let me get this straight. It is alright for Assad to kill women and children so long as he doesn’t use chemical weapons?
For the record it’s been 18 hours since the missile strike in Syria. 36 people have died in the U.S from a Heroin overdose since those missiles were launched.
JohnK:
Don’t even ask how many women and children the US has killed in the last 15 years. It’s ok and crosses no red lines as long as you don’t gas them.
Mr Moriarty:
Where is Putins response to the Israeli killing of the Palestians?
Palestinians
I’m not sure he commented. It’s not his problem. But the US paid for the bullets so it certainly is a US issue as is the carnage in Yemen. It’s like a sign in an antique store, you break it, you buy it.
Point taken Mr Moriarty. Always appreciate your input.
O K, I won’t.
May I remind you, however, I repeatedly complained of the use of drones to strike human “targets”, because I considered that assassination.
CFS:
+10
And not only assassination but cowardly and evil.
An obvious point, Bob.
It is okay?
Why don’t we lace the heroin with Strychnine, and the heroin problem will soon be eliminated.
That was a sick joke, by the way.
Do you really think the US Government has decided to import heroin; as opposed to the action by some traitorous criminal individuals?
CFS:
I am leaning more towards legalization and rehab for those suffering with addiction.
The war on drugs is no better than prohibition was.
President Trump may get the process started.
https://www.adn.com/nation-world/2018/04/13/trump-to-lift-legal-threat-to-states-that-permit-marijuana-use/
I personally believe no Government has the moral right to determine what any person puts in his own body, provided he does not harm anyone else.
But then I would also believe in confiscating any vehicle operated by a drunk driver.
Yep, CFS that is at least two in a row. But then, I am little kinder that Bob! (And, I also don’t take myself quite as seriously!)
CFS:
That’s two in a row. I like that a lot.
Interesting points, JohnK.
What an absolutely great point, JohnK.
The UN Security Council did not condemn the attack.
CFS:
How many people have condemned the 1500 unarmed protestors in Gaza who have been shot in the last 15 days and 30 killed?
At least one.
Well, that’s an important start.
Considering the protestors are unarmed, when I checked last week 10 IDF people had been killed. Do you think the Israelis are so trigger happy they are shooting themselves?
CFS;
Do you have a link? I have not heard that number from anyone and I have seen comments that there were no casualties on the IDF side. I’m not taking a position, you are just saying something I haven’t seen.
It was on a live Israeli news broadcast. I don’t know if it was archived. I did see a female IDF person with blood streaming down her cheek after being hit with a rock, in the same broadcast. but you would dismiss that as propaganda, probably. There was also footage of Palestinians using slings. I was surprised at how good they were at it.
But only a crazy person takes a knife to a gunfight.
Make that at least 100 including my friends and colleagues!
As of 3:50 pm. here on the West Coast!
From what I know the UN has been a bit of a paper tiger in this instance.
Here is a good summary of the UN.
It is futile to place confidence in treaties, conferences, and such bureaucratic outfits as the League of Nations and the United Nations.Plenipotentiaries, office clerks and experts make a poor showing fighting ideologies. The spirit of conquest cannot be smothered by red tape. What is needed is a radical change in ideologies and economic policies.
Pretty good, JohnK!!
JohnK – I did respond back to your comments on Mr T’s Friday blog.

I enjoyed Jay Bhandari’s report on his trip to the Pilbara. Seven Lessons From Trump’s Syria Strike
https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2017/04/seven-lessons-from-trumps-syria-strike/522327/
AJ,
That to me anyway was a great article.
Fortunately, I guess for me, I am certainly starting to rethink some of my positions.
If the Tomahawk cruise missiles fly toward Syria over the weekend [they did], we will know that the capture has been complete; and that the Oval Office is now occupied by a hostage of the very Deep State that he campaigned against, and which, in any event, will soon sacrifice him to the vengeful furies of the Mueller witchunt.
I now believe Trump won’t serve the end of his first term.
Mr Tracy at this particular stage of the game, I honestly don’t know what to think.
Trump has the checkmate on the cabal. In 4D fashion😉
Charster,
Please explain you comment to a dumb Russkie like me. Thank you
And don’t forget, half Chinese? 🙂
Oops…quarter Chinese…sorry, I forgot it was your grand parents who were from China…
They were White Russians, Eddy
OK, but they lived in China? Or escaped from China or something like that.
Oops…quarter Chinese…sorry, I forgot it was your grand parents who were from China…
Dang, meant great grand parents but makes no difference as I got it wrong anyway.
Al,
As I understand it, the attack was not against Assad. It was an attack to stop the people who wanted to overthrow Assad. It paves the way for the US troops to exit Syria.
The rub is, Trump can’t red-pill the masses to the truth just yet. Other things have to happen in a sequential order, so it can be explained. The sheeple need to be slow-dripped out of the trance.
I know that was vague, but let things play out. All is good.
Then you don’t understand it at all.
If you think US troops are leaving Syria under Trump you are delusional.
You need to be slow-dripped out of the trance.
Give me a date of when US troops will be out of Syria? How about out of Afghanistan?
I partly disagree with you Ebolan.
I believe Trump, with all his human flaws, started out with good intentions.
However, very quickly he became isolated in the White House and is continually attacked, largely without cause, by Democrats and neocons and scum republicans that have long since sold their souls (and their country) to the MIC and any lobbyist that offers a buck.
I naively still believe Trump wants to do what is right for the US, but he has never understood bankruptcy, except as an aid to his businesses, and he is increasingly isolated by relentless attacks every which way he goes.
I still believe he is trying to drain the swamp and repair damage done to the country by the traitors Obama and HRC. But he’s just one man with a zillion attack dogs snapping away at any protruding part.
I really cannot disagree with anything that you wrote in this case concerning Trump and his actions, CFS!
I partly disagree with you Ebolan.
I believe Trump, with all his human flaws, started out with good intentions.
It’s real simple. Trump is nothing but a con man (and a politician, but I repeat myself).
He fooled the rubes real good.
I admit, I was fooled, too. Guess I’m a rube, maybe even a sheeple for getting conned.
But it all became clear election night when after it was obvious that he had won he said, “The Clintons are good people.”
That’s when I knew Hillary would never spend a second in prison, the troops are never coming home and for the most part it’s business as usual in the District of Criminals and Trump, like all politicians, said what he thought he had to say during the election to get elected.
Interesting points made by you, Eddy.
Interesting points made by you, Eddy.
I try and I am sorry for being so incendiary but it’s like I said before, I tend to be a Gloomy Gus and that makes me cantankerous.
Ebolan, at least you’re not a super rube (a rube cubed?) like those clueless who who still think he’s their savior.
I warned about him waaay before he was elected and he has not proved me to be even slightly wrong about him.
I warned about him waaay before he was elected and he has not proved me to be even slightly wrong about him.
Yes you did. I remember that. I had reservations about Trump but voted for him anyway. Pretty much the only reason I vote is to vote against tax increases and bond measures and anything that increases the gooberment’s power, so the vast majority of the time I don’t vote for any candidates. Almost always they are all rapscallions in one way or another or hopelessly naive although you only get those types at the city council level. By the time they move up to county supervisor they are conniving and corrupt.
Anyway, the main reason I voted for Trump was that just the thought of 8 years (or even 4) of Hillary made my stomach turn. But I admit I did have false hope that he would get this country the hell out of Afghanistan and Syria like he said and maybe even other places in the ME, cut the foreign aid/nation building bull shit like he said and well, to use his own phrase, “Put America First.” What a fool I was. I will probably never vote for another candidate ever again, just stick to the measures, assuming I ever bother to vote again. Why bother legitimizing a corrupt, criminal, thoroughly illegitimate system with my vote?
Just like US troops will be coming home from Afghanistan under Trump? Yeah, right.
Number of attacks in question here. Just which one are you referring to?
It was an attack to stop the people who wanted to overthrow Assad. It paves the way for the US troops to exit Syria.
Any source for this?

https://www.lewrockwell.com/political-theatre/tucker-carlson-and-stephen-carlson/
The question is could there be a non-nuclear war with the Rooskies? If the answer is no then the next question is could there be a limited nuclear war with the Rooskies? And if the answer is no (and maybe even if the answer is yes) meaning it will be a full nuclear war then you boys can kiss your asses good by. And that means you too, Korelin. Even the ‘great McKinney’ will not be exempt.
AS WAR DRUMS BEAT FOR SYRIA, REMEMBER, LIES AND PROPAGANDA STARTED NEARLY EVERY WAR IN US HISTORY
Your rulers are lying, murderous, ,psychopathic bastards and they very well may get you all killed. They should be tried for war crimes and if convicted they should be given the same treatment Nazi and Japanese war criminals were given.
However, instead they will continue their mass murderous ways paying for it with their tax livestock, i.e. YOU while bankrupting the country. And one day their murderous ways may get YOU killed!
Now, get those 1040s in with your checks to Uncle Murderer…he’s got a lot more people to kill and you get to pay for it.
McAdams and Diest tell it like it is and you can bet NuttyYahoo and Adeleson had a big impact on the Orange One.
https://mises.org/library/daniel-mcadams-what-you-need-know-about-syria
Heh heh, Diest and McAdams are always wrong regarding Trump. It’s like Penocchio continuing to prune his nose. They are so dug-in to anti-Trump, they have lost their primary focus.
Yah, bombing Syria twice with no declaration of war, getting this country more deeply involved in the ME for Israel, staying forever in Afghanistan, trillion dollar deficits…who could possibly against any of that? That 4D chess shit is pretty awesome…
Name one thing they said that was not true.
Says it all. Anyone who can’t see it’s a false flag is brain dead sheeple or a brainwashed sheeple…

Pompeo…what a moronic and ignorant criminal…good thing he got out of that machine shop he worked at in the 90s before he hurt himself.
Trump University. Birtherism. Access Hollywood Tape. 16 sexual assault accusers. One porn star saying Trump offered money after sex. One Playboy Bunny who says Trump offered money after sex. Denying findings of 17 U.S. intelligence agencies’ findings in order to side with Russia/Putin. Denigrating war hero McCain and other prisoners of war who served the U.S. military. Full page ads in the NY papers asking for the death penalty for the Central Park 5 who were later exonerated, then after the exoneration still saying they should get the death penalty. Saying that a wall along the Mexico border was a wise investment and promising over 1000 times that Mexico would pay for it but not revealing why or how he would get Mexico to pay for it. Telling over 2000 falsehoods to the American people in the last 2 years. Siding with Neo Nazis in Charlottesville. NDA’s with former wives. Use of National Enquirer to silence people. Giving insider information to Carl Icahn prior to announcing the aluminum and steel tariffs. A long documented history (over 100 cases) of stiffing contractors on his building projects in Atlantic City, New York and Washington. Saying that he will donate money to specific charities from his foundation but failing to follow through. Stating that the crowd at his inaugural was larger than any other prior inauguration. Cheating on his wife, Melania. Making fun of a newspaper reporter for his physical handicap. Having a medical doctor lie about his height. Firing several federal workers for simply doing their jobs exactly as they were required. Complaining about government spending yet ordering a military parade down Pennsylvania Avenue because he saw one in France. Hiring just one minority person (no, hiring McConnell’s wife does not count) to the cabinet then crippling his agency by cutting billions from his budget. Saying he would drain the swamp, but hiring Goldman Sachs and Billionaire’s Row to the highest positions in the cabinet. A man with no friends, no pets, does not involve himself in his children’s lives while they are growing up.
I would agree, all the above gives Trump the qualifications to be a representative POTUS,
For all the qualification noted above, represent what the USA has become, in the Last 75 years.
Our Govt, has failed, and we have failed to see the truth.
2 Timothy 3:1-5 King James Version (KJV)
3 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
Romans 3:23-26 King James Version (KJV)
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
Romans 3:10 King James Version (KJV)
10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
OOTB, a very complex situation is facing the entire world at this moment in time. The U.S., in my opinion, is definitely not addressing the problem effectively. More on this later today in an editorial.
When the US, kicks GOD out, What do you expect…………..simply no guidelines remain.
constitution, ten commandments….
It, is not complex at all, …….Man..makes it complex, …..with his sinning nature.
We need to Clean up our own house first……..Worrying about the World is not our problem, ……..Judge not, for thou will be judged…..get the beam/mote out of your eye
France and England……..have a real problem….associating with them in sin nature, 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
We got away from England once, …..and want to get back in their mess every time…
You need to review some history, …with current event, or be doomed to repeat the same.
DM:
I flew with McCain in Meridan in 1965. i was a cadet, he was an instructor. I flew with people who know his history as POW. None think he was a war hero. But you have a ton of good points other than that.
Trump isn’t growing into the presidency, he is shrinking out of the presidency.
It probably doesn’t matter but I have zero respect for John McCain. He represents a sick institution (MIC) and people that have no respect for truth and decency.
I detest John McCain. So sad we had to choose between McCain and Obama ib 2008. What a lousy option!
It is hard for me to believe that a man like John McCain and members of what we call the MIC have no respect for human life. But that does seem to be the case. Those feelings are hidden among the continued rumblings of “we are doing what we are doing for the good of humanity”.
I have been giving that a lot of thought and I will bring this up again either later today or tomorrow with some new ideas.
McCain didn’t even have any respect for his fellow POWs. It was clear not all the POWs came home and McCain made sure they didn’t make it home. He is a warmonger and a truly despicable creature.
A description of the Syrian attack:
Brazen as it was perceived to be, the Assad regime’s decision to again use chemical weapons on own people didn’t by itself spur the U.S. to act. The Trump administration was also motivated by how closely the attack followed the use of a nerve agent to poison a Russian ex-spy and his daughter in England in March, an action the U.K. government and its allies blamed on Russia.
The Bumberg prestitutes sure did a good job of mouthing the propaganda of their masters.
CFS, The question here is that did Bloomberg present this situation in an accurate manner? From his account,I get the impression that the U.S.action was carried out in such a way as to avoid any contact with the Russians and also to avoid any contact with Syrian civilians.
Is my impression correct?
According to southfront thats correct Al.
We havnt had verification but Rusia may have jammed guidance systems of some of the Tomahawks.
Israel also attacked Iranians in Syria reports say 20 killed. other than photographs as yet unverified.
Abby Martin Exposes Zionism & Israel on Joe Rogan Podcast (Strong Language)
I have a friend who I will invite on the Show very shortly who has spent time in the Middle East and I will ask him for his views on this issue.
Watch the vid, there is film smuggled out of Israel on it.
Make your own opinion.
Dave at X22 knows what’s going on.
I agree with you Chartster, at least I hope you are correct. I listen/watch/read about 30 hours of material a day, trying to get all sides of the news picture. It is important to source from as many different directions as possible…..of course always recognizing the bias present in every source.
x22 has a tendency often to be alarmist, but in this case I think Dave got it right.
30 hrs a day ! CFS, I need to start hanging out where you are traveling where they have 30 hours a day. Those extra 6 hours would come in very handy.
BTW – when do you sleep?
A radio and 3 computers with multiple windows, youtube running at 1.5X speed plus reading……I probably consume over 50 hours of material per day, compared to someone who does not both to use sight and hearing as separate inputs.
Nice. Yes I use sound plus visuals separately on 2 computers and a smart phone to maximize the input data, but still play most of my audio/video at regular 1x speed.
Maybe I need to enter the world of sped up chipmunk voices to maximize the audio compression.
Cheers!
Cool. I trying it with Ira Epstein’s Metals video at 1.25, and just moved it up to 1.5. (2 x speed is just too crazy though). Haha! I love this.
CFS has invented a time compression algorithm. He can fit 50 hours into 24. 🙂
I just knocked out the palisade radio interview with Rick Rule a 2 (x) speed following the CFS method. Both Rick and Collin talk so slow that 2 times speed it was much easier for my mind not to wander between words. Loving it!
CFS,
Dave @ X22 report is pretty good at geopolitical stuff. He is decent at economics, but has a lot wrong regarding finance. He’s still worth listening to. And I agree, get info from many sources.
I disagree Chartster, Dave at X22 is simply guessing at this point. This video is a great example of FAKE NEWS at this point. This video degrades the sophistication of our site. I am not taking it down because I want people to watch it so that I can make my point.
It might be Dave’s opinion, and you may not agree, but Dave is pretty close to being right on target.
It might be Daves “guesswork”, but he has alot of facts in order.
Dont think it can be called “fake news” tho.
I dont generally listen to x 22, Im not sure about this “Q” guy.
“Q” has been 100% spot on.
Q:
I don’t like the way he codes his information. But, if decoded correctly, he knows a lot.
e.g. a few days BEFORE the attack he talked about rain on Syria and out of Qatar coming 2- 1B X 19.
I’m paraphrasing because I could not find his original post, but is it a coincidence that out of Qatar came 2 B-1Bs that fired 19 cruise missiles?
That is such an odd combination of numbers and letters, it cannot be just a coincidence.
It says the attack on Syria was precisely planned, and Q is on the inside of military planning.
The deep state wouldnt know about a guy on the inside posting plans on the net?
Recall the investigation prior to d day because of a crossword puzzle?
Stockman on USAWatchdog:
A comment from a viewer ………..does anyone know anything about STOCKMAN….
You mean David Stockman who was Reagan’s budget director and architect of trickle down economics who doubled the national deficit? The guy who, in his only job in the private sector (most of his career was working for the federal gov or wall street) ran an automotive components manufacturer into bankruptcy and was indicted on a scheme to defraud stockholders? That guy?
Yeup, that Stockman.
Funny, OOTB…
Stockman, just another BOZO………wanting everyone to think he is something …..LOL
Perry seems in favor of emergency order to bail out Coal, Nuclear plants
Comments suggest struggling firm FirstEnergy could get help from the DOE.
Megan Geuss – 4/15/2018
Well, that kind of goes hand in hand with the U 1 story, ….since, we do not have enough uranium to full the plants……We need to fuel the plants with what we have an abundance of ……plus, there are not enough workers for the uranium plants…..according to the info at Katusa……….
https://katusaresearch.com/untold-story-clintons-uranium-corruption/
full to fuel…
US producers (UUUU) Energy Fuels and (URG) Ur-Energy may benefit as a result.
There are also the developer like (UEC) UEC Corp, (AEC) Anfield Energy [that have Uraninum ones old assets], and (WUC) Western Uranium that will benefit.
Russia Moves to Ban All Trade With US Nuclear Power Companies
Moscow (Platts)–13 Apr 2018
The squeeze is on………… Putin Put……. 🙂
Go long coal……..Tennessee loves coal…….Jellico, Tellico , going back to the 1930’s
Ha the Putin Put… Good one!
Cameco ought to get a boost.
Cameco has had a little bit of a boost lately (as have a number of Uranium stocks) on all the news drivers. It is the US-based companies though that really stand to benefit the most from all the recent updates.
______________________________________________________
1) Production cut backs across the board. – Cameco shut down the largest North American mine last year for about a year, Kazakhstan had huge production cuts as the worlds swing producer (the Saudi Arabia of Uranium), Paladin went down the tubes and shuttered production, and most of the remaining producers are scaled back to just producing enough to honor their longer term contracts.
2) The Underfeeding secondary supply is finally ramping down as the Russians have squeezed most of what they can out of their remaining stockpiles to keep the centrifuges spinning, and eventually new production will need to supply them again.
3) The US Dept of Energy FINALLY quit the insane antics that were carried out under the Obama administration where they were continually dumping huge amounts of secondary supply from decommissioned warheads and weapons into the spot markets, only crippling the miners further by piling onto even more secondary supply. The Megatons for Megawatts program was supposed to have ended in 2013, but the DOE dumps kept happening until last year to pay for mitigation. Unfortunately nobody considered that this dumping into the spot was crushing the spot prices and giving Utility companies way too good of deal and the miners can’t produce down at these ridiculously low levels.
4) Rick Perry was the one that got the DOE to ease off the throttle and he just announced plans to underpin the Coal & Nuclear sectors to preserve the businesses and jobs:

5) The Russian cease trade on Nuclear will only support US Uranium miners.
6) UUUU and URG petitioned the US government with Section 232 to have US Utility companies buy from domestic producers which will be a further boon to US based companies mentioned above.
Lots of value drivers are lining up, especially for US-based Uranium companies.
For those interested in the Uranium space, there are number of great comments, linked articles, and news blasts posted in the #Uranium room over at ceo.ca.
Thanks for the weekend show as always fella’s.
Much appreciated.
Cheers.
