Craig Hemke – From October Yields, Markets and Gold Are Higher, What Is This Telling Investors?

August 3, 2023

Craig Hemke, Founder and Editor of TF Metals Report joins us to compare certain market levels to October of last year when many sectors bottomed. We note the recent pop in yields with the 10 year closing on a significant breakout level with US markets and gold also higher. On the gold front we ask about the horrific performance of the underlying stocks and if the big picture investment angle for gold stocks has changed over the last 15 years.

Maybe I don’t understand but I think World manufacturing needs all kinds and types of metals in the ground. Is General Motors going to hire QH to go find some copper and dig it up and process it and turn it into wire or the guy in the mailroom… OR, is there a whole sector of “businesses” that have to do that for manufacturers. This is not whether to buy a pizza or a hamburger, as neither of those give you copper wire.
Corporations do not want to pay for materials or labor. They have Wall Street and phony paper price setting schemes to make sure that doesn’t happen. But, at some point intervention fails or their Corporate friends go without supplies. No one stays in business without being paid.

GM is primarily a marketing company. Their business plan has been, and still is, to get the product out the door as cheaply as possible and paper over the product shortcomings with marketing BS. That’s why GM’s market share is a little more than a third of what it used to be in better times.

How confusing would it be to take Mondays and Fridays out of the week and go with 5 days. Is that a problem?

This is a long holiday weekend in Canada, that makes it a good time to report a Bank Crash after the market close today, my neighbor who is a banker has running shoes on all the time these days. He is fond of saying, “sorry, I can’t stop now I have heard it all before.” LOL! DT

Bank crashes are good for Central Banking. They take the good assets from the failing bank and pretend a Wall street bank buys them, while simultaneously taking the bad assets and putting them on the Fed balance sheet as a debt against the people. Then they add to the people’s debt by bailouts of secured and unsecured debt holders while pretending the money somehow comes from FDIC. Then Congress looks at the debt of the people that was added and wants to cut Social Security while adding contributions under the table to lobbyists. (Then the Media says The Fed is doing a great job and the people agree). Then they reelect the politicians that made the laws that supports a system that is focused around corporations. Meanwhile street people without homes and aliens fleeing autocratic countries are abused and/deported while supremacy organizations flourish and expand and rigging of the elections moves to forefront contrary to previously established procedures consistent to the equity and intent of the Constitution. Special interests and Corporations reap the benefits which magnifies transfer of wealth.
All because Banks fail from corrupt activities enabled by Politicians and money interests.
There you go on bank failures…
