KE Report Market QuickTake – Metals Investor Forum: Sentiment, Silver Surge, and Where Capital Rotates Next

Cory
September 30, 2025

Fresh off the Metals Investor Forum in Vancouver, Cory and Shad recap the sentiment, company buzz, and investor conversations across the floor.

Key topics

  • Conference vibe: Packed retail presence, buoyed by record weekly closes for gold and silver; optimism ran high across presentations and networking.

  • Silver dominates: Numerous new or refocused silver juniors, many trading at $50–80M market caps despite no resource yet – highlighting just how far valuations have re-rated.

  • Financing window: A surge of bought deals without warrants and in-the-money warrant exercises is filling treasuries; expect higher liquidity as paper becomes free trading.

  • Rotation watch: While silver stole the show, investors are diversifying into copper and uranium; rare earth processors have soared, with government support driving momentum in critical minerals.

  • Risk appetite rising: Newsletter writers and investors moving down the food chain into early-stage drill plays; classic bull market behavior, but a reminder to manage risk and trim profits.

The QuickTake format is a nice addition to the KE Report! It reminds me of the old panel discussions from the past.

I completely agree with Cory’s suggestion to rotate some profits into copper companies with pounds in the ground. There are a few cheap ones out there like USCU and HI – both in the US. Similarly, Rick Rule is suggesting to rotate profits into nickel sulphide deposits.

Hi Jetty. Thanks for that feedback on the new KER Market Quicktake format.

Yes, I’m also personally trimming just a little bit off the top of some silver and gold positions that have already run up into multi-bagger gainers, to rotate a few more funds towards some copper developers.

    FWIW
Finished doubling Radisson and also doubled Andina Copper. Andina has completed a double so I added.

Great chat Cory and Shad. Think you’ve hit on a fabulous addition to your interviews.
Small town small mind small circle of friends Wolfster(claim by one person here) spent the weekend with the boys at the cottage. Got some one on one time with one of the boys to discuss future energy sources or should I say I let him speak. He’s a nuclear fusion physicist currently working for ITER and was a recent speaker in Toronto about fusion energy in Canada. He’s also possibly joining a private company based in Toronto for future power source developments.
He sees a transition from present nuclear to better fission sources and eventually fusion. Regarding investing(should add he spent time at BMO as a trader) he sees uranium and copper as the big needs going forward and said magnets are undervalued as a critical need going forward. Also stressed that Canada is situated ideally as they are the biggest source of tritium(nuclear by product in certain plants) which is expensive and needed for fusion among other uses. Cheers.

W: Any mention of Inertial Confinement Fusion? BDC

Heres a reply straight from the horses mouth BDC when I asked him about.

As for being a useful source of energy, this is far-fetched. They are a long way off on this, factor of 100 or more. This does not stop a few startup companies trying to make something of it. As far as investing is concerned, stay away.

Magnetic fusion companies are much closer to commercial reality. Valuation increases are already possible, but supplying power to the grid is still 10 years away, I would say, at least.
