Weekend Show – Brian Leni & Dave Erfle – Smart Money Rotations: Navigating Gold, Silver, and Copper Post-PDAC

Cory
March 7, 2026

The 2026 PDAC convention in Toronto served as a wake-up call for the mining industry. While attendance reached record highs, the market’s behavior has shifted from the broad “rising tide” of previous years to a much more selective, volatile environment. This week, we sit down with Brian Leni (Junior Stock Review) and Dave Erfle (Junior Miner Junky) to discuss why the “smart money” is moving away from lifestyle juniors and toward high-conviction developers in gold, silver, and copper.

      Hi Shad,

do you have already an opinion on Silverco Mining SICO.V
      https://www.silvercomining.com/

It is a quite new silver play in México that went public in October. They aquired two former silver mines that they want to bring back into production this year.

      – Cusi Mine in Chihuahua
      – La Negra in Queretaro (deal still not closed yet)

I like the story, bringing two existing mines back into production and consolidating the area to add additional resources

At Cusi they already have 70 million oz and it is the neighbour of Los Gatos that First Majestic aquired for nearly $1 billion

La Negra is the former mine from Aurcana that produced nearly 4 million oz in the last year in 2014, before they had to shut it down because of low silver prices and debt issues

Cusi is a pure and high grade silver mine with 85% silver and La Negra has also copper, zinc, lead and gold.

Irish Tony, Do you know what is surreal? A woman bench pressing 350 pounds while at the same time drinking a draft of Moosehead beer. Now that is surreal! LOL! DT 🤣🤣🤣

That’s an eleven, a woman with rippling muscles and a beer drinking habit.

Some might say they’re looking to skate to where the puck is heading to score ( $6000)than waiting on the puck where they are.

Luke Gromen has never been more bullish towards gold having sold 80% of his bitcoin in 2025, and talking now from the MACRO with gold $20- 40K this decade. So $1 K more imminently is no big thing, Brian

Kerry Landis on the remarkable benefits of HydoGraph’s Pure Graphene product. This is a new video and a real eye popper for anyone who wants to know what is behind their success in the stock market. BDC, you should listen in you will find it very entertaining. DT 😊

I’m in fomo mode now…..thought it got ahead of itself when it hit $9 …..got that part right but didn’t put in a standing buy order for the pullback thinking I would just do it later when I saw a healthy retracement to the $6’s. Believe it hit $6.99 and then shot right back up. Might get stuck chasing it next week. 🙄

        Mar 07, 2026 07:31 AM

In the video they talk about a GEIC ( Graphene Engineering Information Center) center in The US like the one they have in Birmingham UK and HydroGraph being a major part of that, like they are in The UK. That is huge and also surreal. This stock traded almost 7 million shares yesterday, lots of interest. It is like President Richard Nixon it is a tricky dick stock with huge potential. The shorts keep trying to hammer it down but they are deluding themselves as the buyers keep piling in. You can’t fight the market that is what Livermore preaches in a Bull Market, don’t short a strong contender and always go for best of breed in the sector of stocks that you like. DT

          HydroGraph : Target (Market Downturn)

          Mar 07, 2026 07:57 PM

Hi BDC, every time you predict HydroGraph is going down it goes up. In fact that is all it has done is go up, mind you not in a straight line. Are you sure you are not short! BDC did you watch that latest video I just posted above, you can’t put all your trust in these charts all the time, investing requires a more expanded horizon. In fact since you have been here which is about one year and a half you haven’t posted one stock that you like. WHY Not? LOL! DT 😊😊😊

            Mar 07, 2026 07:00 PM

Another thing I believe HydroGraph will receive some money from the government to enhance their production timeline. It is just too important a commodity for it to not get a boost to help them get into production faster. DT

            Mar 07, 2026 07:57 PM

DT: Charts are simply hypotheses. Yes, HydroGraph is a beauty, but nothing like Kirkland Lake, with its never ending stair step up, right into the Agnico Eagle buyout. When I recently found that TradingView includes other markets it became possible to chart the Canadians, which is better.
Accusing someone of being a ‘short’ just because of a speculative chart is childish, unless you are kidding. BTW, I have posted at KER for about 15 years, but not much until 5-6 years ago. How about you?
P.S. Here’s one for you. It may have bottomed.

WRLG is one I have been following for many years even before when it was Pure Gold. I have commented on it many times in the past, I thought you would give us an original. As far as you being here for 15 years I don’t recall you coming on this board except for one year and a half ago unless you changed your posting name and I don’t think that is possible because you have a very distinct posting pattern. I have been here almost since the inception probably twenty plus years ago long before you claim you showed up when Jerry the long and Irish first came on board. DT

So you call me a liar now. LOL
            You had once mentioned that:
“I’m hard to get along with.”
            Ain’t it the truth! BDC

You guys might be interested to know that the comment section here opened in December, 2010, roughly 15 years and 3 months ago. I know, it seems more like 20 years ago.

Jr. silver miners are being given away right now. SCZ is $13.69, GSVR .63 to name just two with massively profitable Q4 earnings immanent…which will reflect mere $55 silver.

In this quarter silver is averaging $84. Imagine the Q1 earnings reports that reflect it.

      Mar 09, 2026 09:28 AM

Agreed blazesb. This point seems to be lost on most folks right now, but by May/June when the Q1 numbers come back in, there will likely be some raised eyebrows and many could be caught chasing.

It’s pretty evident that thus far, there is a large disconnect in where the PM producers are being valued in Q1 versus how they are actually having their most profitable quarter in all of human history on a nominal basis. One would think investors would be piling in, but yet many producers almost back down to where they were at the end of last year in Q4. The large Q1 step-change is not yet factored in.
