Did anyone notice? Nobody is talking about „Modern Money Theory“ anymore.
If I remember correctly – Inflation, by that brillant theory, would not be a problem any longer.

      Mar 26, 2022 26:56 AM

Great point Michael. Yes, the real reason for all the inflation goes far beyond pandemic shocks to supply chains and geopolitical tensions in Ukraine, and all traces back to the insane amounts of new money supply from terrible fiscal and monetary policies, creating way too much liquidity sloshing around the system.

    My comments are always deleted?

      Mar 26, 2022 26:41 AM

Hi Thomas. You’re posts aren’t always deleted (I can’t think of one that ever was) and the last 2 you put up had just gone to moderation, and I just woke up and released them both so you should see them above now.

For some reason, there are quite a few posts lately flagged by the automated system, even from approved users, that are going to moderation from here and on the politics tab. I’m not sure why they are going there, but if you don’t see you post show up, just be patient and they will be released. I can’t sit in the back office all day watching for them and Cory is out of town and only intermittently checking. We do have lives outside of the blog, but will release any stuck posts periodically, so just hang in there.

Some common reasons posts go there are putting 2 links in the same post, misspelling your email or normal log in name. However, I’ve seen about 20 posts from regular users go there in the last week and I can’t see why it’s happening. Anyway just hang tight and they’ll be released.

        Mar 26, 2022 26:48 AM

        Ex………….. the KER………… is being watched by Uncle………… 🙂
going to moderation should not be a consideration in a FREE SOCIETY……….. 🙂

The system needs a little more tweaking ……. just speaking….
        Have a Great Day…….. 🙂

          Mar 26, 2022 26:00 AM

Haha! Good one OOTB. Yeah, maybe Uncle Sam is spying on us… Haha! don’t know. We have some kind of AI automated system called Askimet, and it is what triggers posts to moderation if thinks they are spam, fake users, bots, etc… It is amazing at pulling out 99% of the garbage posts, (you’d be amazed at the dozens of bots and crazy spam that hits the site on a daily basis). Unfortunately, sometimes the AI get’s a bit overzealous and it moderates even trusted users. I’ve seen over a dozen of CFS’s go there this week and couldn’t discern any particular reason for it, but released them all.

            Mar 26, 2022 26:10 AM

            Thanks for the reply………
            … I think once people get use to the system, … .. they will be fine…Uncle Joe… lol………. 🙂

            Mar 26, 2022 26:21 AM

Thanks OOTB. Agreed, some of it just learning what things may trigger a moderation response, and I tried to outline the main reasons in some of the responses today. There is also the “user error” situation, but of course, nobody assumes that as an option when immediately assuming the worst. 😉

Everything is released and all spam is purged, so at least at this point everything is up to date and posted.

        Mar 26, 2022 26:50 AM

Thomas, Ex needs time to think about how he is going to move his bank down to Palm Beach, have a fleet of shining black Limo’s, and Loll on the sands with a harem of beautiful women. LOL! DT

          Mar 26, 2022 26:02 AM

Good point DT. I did decide to dare and sleep in this morning and was focusing on my dreams. 🙂

Guys, everything has been released, and keep in mind, there are times where it is user error too, from people not inputting their data correctly, and then it just won’t show up.

My posts used to be deleted. Now they are posted. I am not sure that is better. What should I do?

        Edited posts go to moderation.

          Mar 26, 2022 26:03 AM

Ok – I think this was the issue

Thanks for the hint – will not edit anymore in the future

          Mar 26, 2022 26:10 AM

Yes, BDC – That’s another really good point to mention.

If someone edits their posts more than once, then they go to moderation (the system triggered to look for trolling/spam).

Also, if someone has a link embedded in their post and edits it then those go to moderation (the system is looking for people that get past the gatekeeping software and then post spam links to porn, other financial sites, mortgage offers, male enhancement, etc…) Again, the site gets bombarded on a daily basis with spam and bots, and I see those posts all hit the moderation cue every day and clear them out, so there is a reason for the protocols.

I quite often go in to fix a simple spelling error and see my posts go to moderation all the time because I’ve edited the post.

Look, we asked our web developer to include an “Edit” feature this time, because if people think back there was not one before, so it’s a net positive that one can edit their posts or even “Delete” them now for 15 minutes. This gives individual users more control, but sometimes it sends them to moderation. I try to check periodically throughout the day, as does Cory, but again, we have lives outside of the blog, so please be patient if your post goes to moderation.

** Also, instead of complaining on a public forum about it and clogging up things with complaints that nobody else cares about, it is far better just email me at shad@kereport.com and let me know and I can address it that way.

Just as a heads up I am going to go out and get some fresh air today, so there may be a few delays as it is the weekend. Cheers!

            Mar 26, 2022 26:24 AM

As a funny and ironic note…. That post above from me even went to moderation, because I had included my email in it. Haha! 🙂

    Mar 26, 2022 26:03 AM

Another great week of interviews and sharing of info. Thanks to all

Ex there is chatter again about federal legislation being passed regarding cannabis so that’s the explanation for the recent run up in the US MSO’s.

On the fert front, I made DAN my first foray back into the agro sector….most of the juniors have had nice runs so unless they have a good consolidation the only other one I’m considering buying still is GSP.

I also purchased another Doc Jones play yesterday in the light oil sector. Another undervalued light oil play HELI.Still regret not buying PRQ and still hold all my NGX (undervalued on its gas holdings alone and has light oil holdings as well).

Certainly having my patience tested by my copper explorers. Kodiak showing signs of life and having Gwen pick it as a tenbagger definitely keeps my hopes up. Black Wolf feels like dead money as it’s been basically dormant for the last 3 months and not showing any signs yet that it’s going to change. Extremely frustrating as the Niblack sounds like a definite future mine but management has become distracted by bringing in more properties and no news about niblack for months. Reminds of Brixton a little.

      Mar 26, 2022 26:18 AM

Good comments Wolfster and thanks for sharing all those insights.

Yes, I’ve read some articles and seen other post on other forums about federal legislation being passed regarding cannabis, so that makes sense as to why MSOS (more US focused) is getting good traction.

Again, I picked the 2 pot ETFs (POTX) and (MJ) as I liked the holdings in both, and felt that gave me pretty good exposure to a basket of cannabis stocks to at least play the directional rebound in the sector and both moved very nicely this week.

      >> Check out this candleglance chart showing the moves in all 3 of those ETFs. It’s been a nice bounce:

      https://stockcharts.com/freecharts/candleglance.html?POTX,MJ,MSOS|B|0

        Mar 26, 2022 26:33 AM

Wolfster – Yes, on the oil and gas front PRQ Petrus, a Doc Jones pick has been a real ripper, and still hold my (GASX) NG Energy as well because as they bring on their nat gas wells as Maria Conchita and Sinu-9 this year, they are going to have a great move into production and substantial revenues. We should be seeing that ramp up over the next few quarters, as they just got the pipeline at Maria Conchita all hooked up last month.

As for the Copper stocks, I’ve still done well with larger producers just by holding onto the ETF (COPX), and have been swing trading the daily blips in (SMTS) Sierra Metals again, because it is polymetallic, but most heavily weighted to Copper, then Zinc & Silver, and then Lead, and finally Gold.

As for the Junior Copper explorers, they really haven’t got the response from the higher Cu prices yet that one would expect, but like the PMs, eventually the money will come more down the risk curve. At present I’ve also been positioned in Kodiak Copper that you mentioned, as well as Western Copper & Gold, Libero Copper & Gold, Granite Creek Copper, and Northwest Copper Corp. I’ve considered getting back in your namesake Blackwolf Copper, and it reminds me to reach out to Rob and have him back on the show. Cheers!

          Mar 26, 2022 26:37 AM

Speaking of oil and gas stocks and Doc Jones….. Here’s a recent interview:

          ________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Doc Jones on the Oil & Gas Sector: #075

The Wealth Holders Podcast – March 26, 2022

“Canadian Kyle is joined again with Doc Jones. This time we talk the oil and gas industry and Doc gives a high level overview of what to look for in this space. An interesting conversation on a complex sector. Speculate in companies you feel competent in. I do not own oil and gas early stage exploration companies because I am not competent in the space. But this conversation was great and full of nuggets.”

          https://youtu.be/1lqFpSvaiJU

            Mar 26, 2022 26:55 AM

Yes the pots have a nice run back to where they were earlier in the year as the downtrend definitely looks overdone…would love for you to get Rob from black wolf back on and maybe steer his focus back to Niblack.
Yeah I’m glad you figured out I meant GASX when I said NGX. Mixing names with symbols I guess. Really enjoy listening to Doc and buying these oil plays for their rerating. HELI falls into that category as well.
Surprising myself spending more time discussing everything but PM’s as I think they will be the big movers. Sitting pretty with my free Orezone warrants among others. Looking forward to more great charts from Matthew on that front.

speaking of sharing of info Ex, I believe posts being wiped when not in tune to some acclaimed posters. Perhaps folks should be able to judge for themselves.

      Mar 26, 2022 26:47 AM

See the note to Thomas above. Some posts are just going to moderation and just need to be released manually, so if you see a post not show just give it some time. I don’t see any other stuck at this time, so everything is up.

Make sure your name is spelled correctly, that you are using your normal email address, that there aren’t 2 links, and that you aren’t logging in from a different IP address, as those are some common reasons a post may not show up.

      Mar 26, 2022 26:27 PM

I had a two or three big comments with great quotes in them deleted at once very recently so there goes your imagined victimhood and my special treatment. Sorry, your paranoia is real.

            Mar 26, 2022 26:48 PM

Jonsyl, I am skiing in the mountains today, but just popped in to check on things and saw you complaining again. You are being a bit overreactive here.

I’m not playing favorites and have not deleted any messages all day on this blog. The reason your post went to moderation is because it had 2 links in it, which I had just explained to you was one of the triggers, but apparently you didn’t comprehend that part. Even though I wish you’d quit being purposely combative and posting on politics in the economic blog, I released your message, so there is no conspiracy.

Now I’m signing off to finish having some fun on my weekend, so everyone please try to at least be civil towards one another. Thanks.

    Mar 26, 2022 26:38 PM

This comment is intended to improve the quality of discussion. Whenever all someone can do is talk about the FED it tells me he doesn’t really know much. Anytime Chad EVER talks about something it is always FED centric. Maybe it’s time to think beyond the FED, they are actually just following rates.

      Mar 26, 2022 26:23 PM

Thanks for your feedback John that I don’t know much, and I guess you have it all figured out eh? Actually if you think the Fed is simply following interest rates, then clearly you don’t have it figured out in the slightest.

The Fed just hiked rates for the first time since 2018, and they are way behind the curve, and have been dead wrong about inflation, and are now trying to get hawkish way behind other rates that already started running over the last year… All of this is key macro news and topical, and interest rates have a big impact on the general markets, commodities, precious metals, can commodities. Many of our guests also have wanted to talk about this same topic of the Fed’s first hike in a tightening cycle, and rightly so, so I often agree to ask them question about it for them to expand on before we record. It’s interesting you didn’t rip on them for discussing the Fed in every single one of their interviews.

It is also curious why you’re singling me out when Cory also talks about the Fed in most of the interviews we’ve done for the last 2 years, so does he not know much either because of that criteria? Most of the financial media is covering this key news daily, and other than the Ukraine geopolitical tensions Fed and other central banks policies have remained the key news and macro focus but again, I guess you know more than all of them too, although you didn’t clarify exactly what you have figured out yet, so we’ll have to take your word for it.

Look, the vast majority of our guests on the KE Report have been talking about Fed policy, the tapering, the rate hikes, and the plans to reduce their balance sheet for more than a year – be it Peter Boockvar, Craig Hemke, Brien Lundin, Dave Erfle, Jordan Roy-Byrne, John Rubino, Axel Merk, Sean Brodrick, Goldfinger, Ed Moya, Joel Elconin, Rick Bensignor, Jesse Felder, etc… By this logic of yours, I guess that none of them know much either huh? (that’s a ridiculous notion).

How about instead instead of taking jabs at people that are contributing to the site, that you suggest topics you’d like to hear, or impress us with sharing your vast knowledge. It’s fine to offer ideas that you’d like to hear on future interviews, but casting stones at the co-host and making it personal simply because I discussed the Fed with our guests (also because they noted before recording wanting to discuss it) doesn’t stack up with your critique of knowing much. If you’ve followed along for any measure of time I also regularly discuss the nuances of technical analysis, fundamental analysis, and intermarket analysis on the US general equities, bonds, currencies, the tech sector and follow hundreds of resource companies in gold, silver, copper, nickel, PGMs, uranium, lithium, rare earths, oil & nat gas, the crypto sector, and the cannabis sector… tracking their surface work and geophysical surveys, drill results, economic studies from PEA, PFS, to FS and then once in production their quarterly operation reports. We’ve interviewed hundreds of company executives, and I hold a basket of over 90 stocks in my personal portfolio, so I’d love to see you keep up man. Again, how about suggesting topics you’d like to hear versus hurling insults?

      Mar 26, 2022 26:38 PM

John, skim or fast forward through the FED commentary and just focus on the stuff that you value. There’s plenty of meat on the bone at KER.

interesting thread, far dif from shad telling me i was the only 1 it was happening to, dont say anything too much. instead of anything being said as requests to fix it, it get taken as complaining. 😉

      Mar 26, 2022 26:57 PM

B – all year long it was really mostly just your messages the sysyem was flagging, but last week something changed and a lot of messages are now getting flagged for some reason. However, as noted above most of the messages that went to moderation were either because people edited their posts or because they included 2 links, so there is nothing to fix on those.

Again, as I emailed you several times now we’ve asked our webguy why your posts have been getting flagged, because trust me it is way less work for us if they just post correctly, and he couldn’t see a reason it was happening other than if your IP addresd wasn’t static, or it may be due to the email server you are using. I suggested you try a different email server, and you didn’t do that, so that is up to you to try, otherwise I’ll release them when I log in periodically.

    Mar 27, 2022 27:56 AM

Well sometimes the proverbial rabbit hole called the Internet actually leads to an interesting potentially profitable finding. I found myself learning about helium as HELI was also involved in that along with light oil. I never thought about it being anything other than a filler of balloons that also gives you a high pitched voice..a quick copy/paste shows it’s more than that.
Helium is used for medicine, scientific research, arc welding, refrigeration, gas for aircraft, coolant for nuclear reactors, cryogenic research and detecting gas leaks. It is used for its cooling properties because of its boiling point being close to absolute zero.About 30% of the world’s helium supply goes into MRI scanners and ventilators, while another 20% of the world’s helium supply goes into the manufacture of hard disks and semiconductors.

But the biggest chink in the helium supply chain is the fact that the U.S. federal government–the world’s largest supplier of the rare gas–ain’t selling no more.In other words, up to 40% of the world’s helium supply has already been cut off.

So I’m just in the exploratory phase but there are a few near term producers come online. Time permitting(really need to quick my day job it’s getting in the way of my investing) I’ll see what ones looking promising…..and anyone else can feel free to add their thoughts. Cheers

Hi Wolfster, I was interested in Desert Mountain Energy, SYL-DME-V, about two years ago when they were selling for 35 cents, they are located in The Holbrook basin in Arizona, shortly after they hit big on drilling and the stock went up 10X. They just won a court case on Friday and their stock has started to climb again. Any of the other helium plays I had a look at at the time were too risky, some were explorers in Saskatchewan. Desert Mountain still looks very attractive, and they are in production. DT

This Aussie one I came across sometime ago.
      Blue Star Helium(BNL:AX)

        Mar 27, 2022 27:41 PM

Thanks gentlemen. Yes the Desert has had some spectacular moves over the last few years. Things have changed since you last looked at others though. They are a few close to production now and the other ones worth looking at are imperial, total, avanti and first helium.
Will definitely have a look at that Aussie one Terry

If anybody here is interested in alternative investing, I recently bought shares in a Canadian company with a huge deposit of Boron in Serbia. There are only two other deposits in The World of comparable size and one is owned by Rio Tinto.

The Boron market is worth about 8 billion annually, and if you think Helium has a lot of usages for the new economy check out Erin Resources, SYL-EV, market cap nine million, outstanding shares 155 million. This stock is currently selling for 6 cents, I bought some last week for 5 cents.

Serbia has a long history of mining and The Chinese recently lent Serbia 7 billion which will be used for infrastructure and a railway to Greece. I have included a link to Erin Resources website that lists the many, many, uses for Boron in our economy. Happy Trading! DT

So many of You on this blog , are blind to the sleeper …. SILVER.

      Mar 27, 2022 27:22 PM

Not me, it’s the place to be. As mentioned elsewhere, I bet we will see 29.50 or so in the next 6 weeks or less.

I won’t be surprised if silver clears fork resistance around 26.50 this week…

Hi Matthew , You get it , you understand silver.

            Mar 27, 2022 27:21 PM

Believe I stated I was surprised I was discussing everything but pm’s as that’s what I’m most excited about and have been accumulating more impact over the past week but I think I was just getting tired of stating the obvious and am also preparing for where those profits will be going

            Mar 27, 2022 27:13 PM

Right, stay focused. No need to go looking elsewhere.

      Mar 27, 2022 27:48 PM

I beat my silver with a stick everyday trying to get them to wake up.

      Mar 27, 2022 27:20 PM

      ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ……………..!!!

      Mar 28, 2022 28:31 AM

Tony, Bonzo loves silver and owns lot of PAAS, WPM, EXK, AG, AXU, DOLLF, CEF, HL, ELRRF, KUYAF, SSRM, SILV, and many silver coins as well as a silver Longine’s watch. I expect silver to do better than gold in the future, and the future is where Bonzo plans to spend the rest of his life.

Always interesting in what your saying. I’m just a miner with gold in the Polk. What should I do sell or hold. Thanks

      Mar 27, 2022 27:30 PM

We’ve had a few different technical analysts come on the show and discuss where the decade long cup & handle pattern in gold projects to technically and it is between $2880 and $3000 depending on how one measures it using the amplitude of the cup, so that seems worth holding for IMO.

Not to mention, if you sold your gold now, converting it over to fiat that is eroding in purchasing power due to inflation, then that doesn’t seem like a win, so would you go into US Equities? Bonds? Real Estate? – Those markets have had their run and became overheated and peaked over the last year. There are very few places to hide and ride out the coming financial storm.

        Mar 27, 2022 27:23 PM

Yep. One of the big issues in coming years will be when to sell. The powers that be that have been systematically destroying fiat currencies want you to convert your wealth to support the value of their fiction. Our goal will be to outlast their efforts and hold onto things that retain value despite their destruction. Their message will be strong and convincing … but totally false.

What Needs to Happen In the next few days

          Portfolio Wealth Global – (03/28/2022)

“Under the fiat monetary system, which has lasted for 51 years already, we’ve only had five eras of deteriorating EPS, accelerating inflation and bond yields surging, and in those times, stocks perform lousy.”

“2022 is precisely like that; it’s been a horrible year and we believe that Big Tech companies fighting each other will cause more turbulence, which is a positive catalyst for gold. Hedging a portfolio with precious metals is the recipe of 2016, and we believe it is making a comeback in 2022.”

    Check out HYMC premarket

      Mar 28, 2022 28:48 AM

What is the market cap of HYCT now? $300 million?

        Mar 28, 2022 28:41 PM

It may have been closer to that in pre-market, based on what Buzz mentioned about it getting up to $2.70.

Still HYMC closed up 81% in the market hours and then up another 10%+ in afterhours trading today.

Hycroft Mining Holding Corporation (HYMC) NasdaqCM –

    Gold’s bullish technical set-up heading into quarter-end

    David Erfle – Friday March 25, 2022

“After drifting sideways in a tight $100 range for nearly a year, the month of March has seen gold volatility increase significantly with its price trading within a $185 range, driven mostly by the financial fallout from the crises in Ukraine. And once central bankers across the world ramped up the fight against rapidly surging inflation last week, gold has been attempting to create a new floor at the $1900 level.

With the first quarter of 2022 ending next Thursday, the price of gold moved towards its next level of resistance at $1950…”

Well since I pointed out buying Heli on Friday I should point out I sold it today already after that nice pop this morning. I’m no longer swinging for the fences in the tfsa. Hoping it pulls back for reentry.

Santa Cruz breaking out above .50? Royal bank said it is an underperform stock, hmmmm, I think they are wrong…

    https://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=SCZ.V

      Mar 28, 2022 28:05 PM

Yeah, I’m with you Dan. SCZ Santacruz has been finally starting to get rerated this year for the transaction closing with Glencore on the 5 Bolivian projects, 3 mines & mills, 2 exploration projects, and 2 power plants. When you add that to their other producing Zimapan mine in Mexico, they have all the makings of graduating from a smaller producer to a mid-tier producer, and still have plenty of room to run higher in valuation from here, even if Silver prices flat-lined in the mid $20s (which is not what I expect to happen BTW, as I believe Silver will break above $30 this year and then blast higher).

SCZ had a really nice move from 2018 into the 2019, and then post-pandemic crash, a really epic surge higher in 2020, where it outperformed all the other silver producers on the planet. Last year was tough across the board for most PM mining stocks, but SCZ even had another rise higher into last summer, when many other companies were still tanking hard. The 2nd half of 2021 though it was pressured, but I added more during later 2021 and it’s still one of my heavier silver weightings in the portfolio, and so this recent action has been nice to watch unfold. Looking forward to seeing where this be will trading by this time next year. Cheers!
