Comments on the US markets pullback, GM investing in Nikola, Tesla pullback, and the general commodities pullback

Joel Elconin, Co-Host of the Benzinga Pre-Market Prep Show joins me to comment on the pullback in US markets which is being lead again by tech. We then look into some individual stock that have news that is driving them both higher and lower. These stocks include GM, Tesla, and Peloton. Finally commodities are touched on taking into account copper, oil, and gold.

    Ethanol from grass company

      I told you years ago , that they could make ethanol out of grass……
      since, I know, because I was a developer of ethanol projects…in the 70s

            Henry Ford,,,,,,saw the problem,,,,, ,,,,,OIL Companies…
            Ford created an engine to run on ethanol,,,in 1900s…..big oil smashed it, same as in
            the 70s…

            if, they can pay off some , new green deal, green horn, and pad some pockets, they might/ could get a bump…..

        This company finally got it cheaper per acre than from corn.
        (which is not easy because corn has higher sugar content)

          You realize , corn was just a token feedstock, to get the ethanol movement started quickly. From the very beginning, anything that contained sugar or starch, was considered.
          example potatoes in Idaho,,
