NG Energy – Looking At The Growth Profile For This Near-Term Colombian Nat Gas Producer

Serafino Iacono, CEO of NG Energy (TSX.V:GASX – OTC:GASXF) joins us to review the growth potential for the next 2 years for natural gas and now light oil focused in Colombia. The Company has 3 assets, 2 of which have straightforward pathways to production, Maria Conchita and SINU 9.

We start off by having Serafino outline the progress at the Maria Conchita project bringing online the Aruchara-1 Well and Istanbul-1 Well this year, ramping up from 20 million cubic feet per to 40 million cubic feet  over the next year.  The Company has finished installing and hooking up the 14 km pipeline to connect to the Colombia’s network.   There is also the plans to bring on the new Tinka-1 Well by September, and this will contribute another 10 million cubic feet to the Maria Conchita production.

Next we shifted over to SINU 9 and outline the work planned to bring those 4 wells into production in 2022, with an initial plan of 100 million cubic feet and then expand to 200 million cubic feet per annum as more wells are drilled in 2023. We also touch on new focus on light oil, from an old historic discovery, where the exploration team will be testing the western area where the Company believes there may be close to 1 billion barrels of oil with 25% recovery, so potentially 250 – 280 million barrels of light oil, and the company will be doing some wildcat drilling to follow up on the historic results.

If you have any follow up questions for Serafino regarding NG Energy, then please email us at Fleck@kereport.com or Shad@kereport.com.

    spx hanging by a hair.

also good to see that this pause that refreshes for gold has most miners taking a decent dump allowing the uninvested or bargain hunters with some dry powder to step in.

Most people we had on the show last week anticipated a pullback in commodities and the related mining stocks after the big run higher the last few weeks, and yes, this was the reason I moved my dry powder position from 2% up to 7% throughout the course of Q1, and I’m considering starting to add back to a few of the positions I trimmed, but want to see how things go as the day plays out and may wait until tomorrow to do any poaching for deals.

Well, after reviewing some gold, silver, copper, and uranium stocks down in high single digits or double-digits today, I did do a little nibbling today on a number of stocks upon further reflection, but just some baby tranches. Now I’m down to 6% dry powder and ready to fire off more rounds as the week progresses.

Love these markets. The bond market is due for another breakdown with yields moving higher and the PMs are correcting with the stocks moving down in their channels again. Good opportunities ahead for those of us with a lot of cash—-will be buying on the dips in the PM stocks and selected conventional stocks on future pullbacks. The dollar is moving higher and will for some time over the next few weeks. As predicted months ago, most of the PM stocks shouldn’t make a run for the August 2020 highs again until at least 2023.

Doc – I had followed up on your comments on the weekend show with a few questions and never heard back from you buddy.

PM stocks? The call I remember referred to gold:

I’ve mentioned months ago that I didn’t expect to see gold challenge its’ high in August 2020for some time; the earliest being 2023.
      —End—
Of course, we know that gold already challenged its 2020 high when it came within $11 of it.

Then there’s this (when NEM was 59.44 and about to head for 80+):

NEM appears to be topping and forming a head/shoulder pattern on the monthly chart. When this stock falls more and bottoms, then you know the end of the bear market is in view.
      —End—

NEM has already exceeded its 2020 high by 17% and its 2021 high by 10%. It is the “gold standard” of the biggest gold miners so it’s probably a mistake to ignore its message.

In light of the charts as they currently are, it is ridiculous to suggest that the miners in general are unlikely to make a run for their 2020 highs.

Keep accumulating a little more. Waiting for the volume to pick up as they get closer to production

      Mar 14, 2022 14:18 PM

Yeah, NG Energy should have a transformative year with 3 wells coming online from Maria Conchita and 4 from Sinu-9, so the incoming revenues are not far away at this point.

totally out and naked doc. Hope I can stay that way a bit longer as the dump some of these high end miners taking is great, and the dregs even worst.

Jonsyl, I believe the next take down will be one of the best times to purchase.

doc, in the immediate term all market reaction geopolitical and knee jerk. Surprising how little the spx has corrected from its top considering the geopolitics.

HL went up 68% since the end of January and is now having another perfectly normal pullback.
