Blackrock Silver – High-grade Drill Results Returned From The Tonopah North Lithium Project By Partner Tearlach Resources
Andrew Pollard, President and CEO of Blackrock Silver (TSX.V:BRC – OTCQX:BKRRF), joins us to review the recent drill results from the Tonopah North Lithium Project, as well as the coming exploration strategy at both Silver Cloud and the Tonopah West Project in Nevada.
At the Tonopah North Lithium Project, their option partners, Tearlach Resources (TSX.V: TEA – OTC: TELHF), just released high-grade lithium assays from 5 diamond core holes, with and additional 6 more holes still pending results back from the assay labs in the near future. Tearlach’s drilling has confirmed Blackrock’s original Tonopah North lithium discovery with core drill holes delivering grades that range from 40-85% higher than the corresponding original reverse circulation intercepts drilled by Blackrock. These results substantially increase the grade and expand the mineralized zone at the project. All drillholes intersected broad zones of lithium mineralization in excess of 400 ppm, each having intervals greater than 1,000 ppm Li, including the highest-grade intercept at Gabriel to date of 1,460 ppm Li;
Next, we discussed the drill plans or a Phase 1 drill program at its bonanza-grade discovery drillhole in Northwest Canyon on the Silver Cloud Project. The initial plan is to drill 2,000 meters starting in a few weeks and stepping out from the discovery made last year. Additionally on the exploration side, we highlight the 4,000 meters of drilling planned after that, later in the summer at the company’s flagship Tonopah West Project. With one of the highest-grade undeveloped silver-gold resources in the world, the goals will be to not only grow the resource through more drilling, but also a better interpretation of the prior drill holes and vein orientation, that will all be working towards an updated mineral resource early next year. There will be plenty of exploration news hitting the wires over the months to come from all 3 projects.

Well done Ex, you touched all of the bases. Hoping for some delayed upward reactions to both BR & Tearlach.ca
Thanks Marty. Yes, I’m surprised how little market reaction there was to these first 5 drill holes with high-grade lithium intercepts near surface; (especially considering the rich valuations the 2 neighboring lithium projects are fetching).
I expect both companies to get rerated much higher as more investors wake up to what is going on with Tonopah North.
I need to add some more while price keeps dropping.
Lakedweller2 – Yeah, I’ve been considering doing the same and adding a bit more to my Blackrock Silver position. These lithium drill hits have confirmed the thesis at Tonipah North (with 6 more holes still to release as another catalyst).
In addition, I’m pretty interested to see how the drilling goes over the next few months at Silver Cloud and then Tonopah West. There are lots of exploration catalysts on tap for BRC, to capture more investor interest. Importantly, I still don’t believe they are even properly valued for the resources already defined at Tonopah West, and expect as those resources continue to grow, BRC will continue to separate themselves from most of their other drill play peers.
Just as a follow up… after mulling things over more last night, it just seems like the price to valuation gap here just on Tonopah West is compelling enough, and then Silver Cloud and the Tonopah North Lithium Project are 2 excellent kickers that aren’t even priced it at all, so I did pull the trigger on adding more to my Blackrock Silver position today.
