April 6, 2024

Welcome to The KE Report Weekend Show! Commodities continued to rise this week, kicking off the quarter very strong. Gold kept extending all time highs, while silver as well as gold and silver stocks really got moving this week.

In Daily Editorials throughout the week we covered the gold, silver and equities moves with out regular guests. We also are featuring more companies now that they are finally showing life. On this Weekend Show we focus on gold, silver, copper and oil with generalist market analysts to find out their thoughts on the sustainability of the breakouts.

We hope you all enjoy this Weekend’s Show!

  • Segment 1 and 2 – Mike Larson. Editor-in-Chief at MoneyShow kicks off the show with a focus on gold and silver. We discuss how generalists are viewing this breakout, what stage of the bull market these precious metals are in, and what factors are driving this inflow of money.
  • Segment 3 and 4 – Marc Chandler, Managing Partner at Bannockburn Global ForEx and editor of the Marc to Market website, wraps up the show discussing gold, copper and oil’s breakout alongside the US Dollar’s strength. We look internationally to explain these strong moves and forecast where prices are going.

MAG stopped at “6-1-8” Fibonacci fan resistance but probably not for long…

SILJ just broke out of a 2 year downtrend while taking back an important price pivot and closing above its 100 week MA for the first time in 2 years. In addition, it accomplished a decisive breakout above the 10% 100 wMA envelope like it did the second week of May 2020 that preceded moves significantly higher.

What is still to come. I see a massive rally in silver juniors. The pent-up demand is across the board, but the juniors will give you much more leverage than senior producers, the seniors are for the old folk investors that like to play it safe. LOL! DT

      Apr 06, 2024 06:47 PM

Yes, that’s always the case. Just look at IPT’s 143% gain so far. That’s 3 to 4 times better than most seniors. Even EXK has doubled despite having well over 10 times the market cap of IPT. Of course it is still a junior compared to PAAS which has a market cap of 10 times that of EXK.

Hi DT, I don’t know what Bob says about that but in my experience you find the goofiest investors in every sector!

It doesn’t take much to resonate with him. Just mention the word criminal and he goes BALLISTIC! LOL! DT

You have a nasty disposition DT. You never miss a chance to criticise and denigrate other posters.

            Apr 07, 2024 07:48 PM

Silver hasn’t even broken out versus gold yet but it’s going to happen very soon. When it does, get ready for the sector to add even more strength.

Looks like the futures are still trying to keep the Juniors range bound. Home of the Hedge Funds. Corruption uninterrupted.

      Apr 07, 2024 07:44 PM

Futures turned positive … Let’s see if we can have a good week.
