Sean Brodrick – Reviewing Investment Trends In The Gold, Oil, Nat Gas, and Cannabis Sectors

Sean Brodrick, Editor Wealth Wave and Wealth Megatrends, and the Natural Resource Specialist at Weiss Ratings, joins us to focus on the investment trends in the gold, oil, natural gas, and cannabis sectors.  We review the continued bounce in precious metals, and what macroeconomic factors could shape the year to come, including China reopening, moves in the US dollar and interest rates, and inflation.

Next we pivot over to the energy sector to review what he is watching in oil, nat gas, and the related stocks before he would start accumulating again.

We wrap up the discussion on the how a federal legalization bill could affect companies in the US, and the lessons the companies have learned from the mistakes made by Canadian companies when cannabis was legalized there on a federal level.

      Eat My Dust, S&P

By Sean Brodrick – Wealth Wave – January 17, 2023

2022 was a terrible year for the major indices. Terrible!

The blue-chip Dow Industrial lost 8.9% for the year. The S&P got pummeled, down 19.6%. And the Nasdaq Composite was a slaughter, losing 33.5%. Think about that for a moment. A third of the tech-heavy Nasdaq’s value got wiped out. Vanished! Poof!

You know who did well last year? Some of you already know that answer…
      — My Wealth Megatrends Members, that’s who!

That’s right. They outperformed Wall Street’s white-shoe crowd … the billionaires and the bankers … the crypto kingpins … the hubris-filled hedge funds … even all those algo-assisted, fat-wallet types.

By how much, you ask? I’m happy to tell you…”

Like RR say’s most silver comes from large copper deposits with silver and gold credits that’s what makes Brixton so valuable.

Yep, good point DT. I think AbraSilver has a nice mix of copper and silver as well in their deposits. There are also a few “silver” companies with nice copper co-credits, and also zinc and lead usually accompany silver deposits as contributing co-credits. Most of these deposits are polymetallic by nature, but for the larger base metals producers, they simply see Silver as a co-credit.

Doc Jones also made that same point in his interview yesterday, that he is planning on getting his gold and silver exposure through battery metals plays as a different kind of investing strategy.

What exactly is boring jon syl?

      The interview with Sean above?
All great (and very interesting) interviews posted and shared up above?
The markets where many stocks are still moving high single digits or double digits in both directions?

I’m always stunned when there is so much going and so many great conversations happening, and someone has to come on here and be a wet blanket about being bored. Good grief!
