I’ve been watching the long term Silver:Gold charts and a big breakout looked inevitable for July until the final few days. Take a look at the green resistance line I drew off of the 2011 high monthly close and the 2021 high monthly close. It was defended successfully and impressively last week as silver was crushed just enough to keep the Silver-Gold ratio from breaking out. It obviously got stuffed last year as well but that was less impressive for a variety of reasons. I think it could easily happen this month unless the stock market crashes. And even then I wouldn’t bet against it. This ain’t 2008.

Looks like another drop is setting up for commodities vs gold.

Pardon my ignorance here, but I’m wondering which way this chart runs. If a drop occurs, does it mean that a basket of commodities is getting cheaper relative to gold? So, the gold price would either move higher, or the basket of commodities will simply get cheaper? Cheers

You have it exactly right. If the chart was of Gold:CRB instead of CRB:Gold, it would be the reverse. The first trading symbol is always the item being priced in the second symbol (instead of USD) even when they’re already combined into one symbol like $CADUSD (the same as $CAD:$USD). And I just learned that I put the wrong link to that one above so here it is:

The dollar is cyclically set for some relative strength despite getting smacked down today.

This “strength” will likely not be an issue for gold at all as the dollar will rise for the same reasons as gold.

Some of the amazing characteristics of Graphene, it is stronger than steel, harder than a diamond, thinner than paper, lighter than aluminum, more conductive than copper. GOT IT! DT

It looks like The Boys here have discovered Hydrograph’s form of graphene, they must have had their finger in the air! The process is caused by an explosion as is the stock price! LOL! DT 🤣🤣🤣
